Caren actually cut my hair dry first (something no one has done before, but something I'll inquire about from now on) and only once she was mostly done washed, did a little tidying, dried, and VOILA: I have a haircut that settled perfectly day-of and, more importantly, has settled perfectly every day since. I'm low-fuss when it comes to my hair (I wash with a little shampoo and ton of conditioner, and maybe use little leave-in coconut oil before air-drying, but that's about it). Caren's cut works perfectly for my normal minimal-maintenance days, and frames my face more nicely on days when I play a bit. Best yet, Caren's cut cost half of what a comparable job in San Fran would cost! If only I could take her back to the Bay with me, I'd have Caren cut my hair forever.

I had scheduled a consultation at Salon K. Lee, and when booking online they gave no details. I went in and explained that I had booked a consultation for a haircut, and the woman said that the owner handled the haircuts, gave me the owner's business card, and sent me back home. I was extremely confused and frustrated that I drove all the way to Springfield, just to be sent back home. When I arrived home at 11:30, I received a text message from the owner, saying that she does her consultations over the phone, and if that would be alright. I said yes, but she never called me. I texted her again, asking when the consultation would be, and she never responded! It has been a few weeks since then. I had also booked an event style, but cancelled it due to terrible customer service. Very unprofessional.
