As well as horses, campers get to experience real dutch oven cooking. If you are looking for a great camp, go to Camp Wahoo. I have also been on the Cattle Drive 4 times. If you want to go YOU NEED TO BE AN EXPERIENCED RIDER! If you are not experienced you risk injury, but if you can ride you will have the most fun possible. I have been a High Country Outfitters guest many times. Each time the staff make sure you have good food as well as having a great time with the staff and other guests. On the rides, the staff make sure you get a good horse who will match you skill level and you will have a fun lunch at a beautiful snack spot.

I brought 60 students and 12 adults to the Double K and the entire trip from start to finish was a blast. They were so helpful with A/V equipment and even provided worship for us when we were in a pinch- which was outstanding! The art room exceeded all expectations and my students loved the experience of creating in the presence of the Lord. Definitely worth it! The studio was so beautiful. The food was great! The kitchen staff were amazing and kind! The rooms and dorms were clean and had tons of games available. Sledding was so fun, there were so many different sled options. I can't say enough good things about the Double K and Joel & Ashley and their staff. This place is blessed to have them and we are grateful for the blessing they are to Elevate Youth Ministry! During the week, campers learn how to improve their riding, both with a group horsemanship lesson and with a one on one round pen lesson. Campers also get to learn survival skills then put them to the test in fun mock survival situations. Campers get to ride on average 15 hours during any given week, all through amazing trails with views that are one of a kind. I suggest Camp Wahoo to any kid, boy or girl, who is interested in horses and nature.

Tucked near Roslyn and Cle Elum, is Suncadia, a resort with lots of rentals and amenities. Next door, also owned by the same group, is the Private Residences of Tumble Creek. A gated, community of families, with its own set of amenities. Tumble Creek Club is a collection of the Golf Clubhouse, the Fitness Center/Pool, and Restaurant. I'm going to write mainly about the Pool and Eatery, since there is another review mentioning the Golf Course. The Pool is where you will meet fellow residences, looking to relax, have a dip on a hot sunny day. There are two pools, and a hot tub. There is also a splash pad, and small concessions of cool treats, and some hot food options. It's lovely, and prefect. The Restaurant is another star of the show. The food is delicious, the menu features local fare, which is a real treat. On this day, I had the Bistro Salad, which included a nice hefty chunk of perfectly looked salmon. The Mrs got a Salmon Sandwich, which looked amazing, and also had plenty of Salmon in it. I was envious, but my mine yummy so I got over it. The kiddo got Mac and Cheese, and at it up instantly, with the fruit side. If you are here, as a guest, or owner, it's the perfect one stop shop to relax, without leaving the community.
