It was the closest one to me. I normally like standalone drugstores. I don't spend as much. Get me visiting a mall and I'm bound to shop. It happened here, but I contained my shopping madness down to this mall wing with SDM and the food court above it. It's a decent mall. It has Pearl, a Chinese dim sum restaurant that I like. I typically go to the one at Bayview Village. It was nice to see one west of Mississauga. The dining room looked gorgeous as I walked over to the mall entrance. The SDM is steps away from the main mall entrance, which I appreciated. I got what I was looking for and more. This same wing of the mall had Claire's. I ended up getting Squishmallows and a Grogu bucket hat. It was nice finally visiting the LL Bean store. I love the products, but there are rarely any sales that make me want to buy anything. The mall ceilings are nice. There's lot of glass that allow natural light to shine in. It's cool and cheerful. There are also various decor accents, such as triangular lighting and dangling spiral installations, that are pleasing to the eye as you walk around. The food court is cool. There was a bee installation where you could read up on how wonderful bees are. I didn't end up dining at the food court. However, there was a sushi clearance at the end of the night at Sushi Mac. I couldn't resist and bought some sushi to bring back to my hotel room. There is a Kernels-Yogen Fruz store on the main floor. I dropped by to get popcorn at Kernels before leaving the mall. Popcorn is my weakness. I got two bags to feed by popcorn habit. I was only in one wing of this mall and enjoyed being there. I would likely be broke if I had walked the entire mall that evening. The grey marble with pink trim is dated but well looked after. The food court only has one Mediterranean restaurant with half decent food. The rest of the restaurants have closed up shop. The metro is clean and the Shoppers is convenient. The rest are pretty much mom and pop shops speckled with a few chain stores. The best part of this mall is the Santa. No lineups and a great Santa.

When you walk up to the store, there is a staff member at the door. You can either wait in line or you can put your name and number down like a reservation and they text you when it's your turn to come back. For a location like this one, it makes total sense because you can walk up and down lakeshore while you're waiting. The in-store experience was great. They have ample amount of staff working the floor and cash. It was a Saturday, so I knew it would be busy but I was able to try on items with no issues and the process to make my exchanges was seamless.

The cashier explained i can get points everytime i visit. The only thing i knew was that you can take pictures and post, tagging their user on instagram to get 10% haha! So i applied to get points, and got extra for not getting a plastic bag for the pants we bought. That was great. And honestly, this is the only place i shop for clothes now since it's budget-friendly, close to where i live. The pants i got was under $20 which is perfect! Can't wait to come back againnn!

However, what's annoyed me is that since their renovations last year, they now have 3 floors and men's clothes are on both the 2nd and 3rd floor so you have to search both floors before you find a good deal. It's a bit of a pain in the butt, but I understand from a business perspective why they are doing it (give customers exposure to other areas of the store and take advantage of impulse buyers). Verdict: I still think The Bay is one of the better places for reasonably priced, quality men's business clothes. I just don't like the 3 floors here.
