I moved to Bellevue a couple months ago and have been trying out different barbershops in the city in hopes of figuring out which one would be my go-to. When I go to barbershops, my expectations are to be able to get a haircut, beard trim/lineup, and eyebrows cleaned up. The places that I tried out before finding Uppercuts were mostly fine, but I never felt completely satisfied with the work being done. Finally, I got recommended to try out Uppercuts Barbershop through word of mouth. I checked out their website and was already impressed with the gallery I saw of past work they have done. I bided my time until my hair grew enough to warrant a barbershop visit and headed on over earlier this week. I was immediately greeted with a warm welcome that made me feel at home. I may be wrong but I believe the people I met there were the brother co-owners of the shop. In any case they were very friendly and made great conversation. I sat down in Noor's chair and opted to get the "Wedding Prep for Groom & Best Men" service. I'm not going to a wedding anytime soon, but I chose this option as it encompassed pretty much most of the things you could get done at the shop for a reasonable price: haircut, beard, eyebrows, and face mask/wash. I told Noor what I generally wanted done and then put my trust in him to execute. What I got was honestly one of the best experiences I've ever gotten at a barbershop. My hair was great. My eyebrows were cleaned up evenly. My beard was immaculate. And the face mask was quite the refreshing experience. I felt at ease during the entire session, and when it was over and I went back into my car, my closer analysis of the work that was done (by looking at my mirror) confirmed that it truly was a job well done. I am certainly without a doubt coming back, truly feel that this is the "go-to" place I was looking for, and I hope that it can become the "go-to" places for more and more people as well. If you have curly hair don't come here. They don't know how to cut curly hair and then he blow dried and straitened my hair. Not super happy, cut is just ok and I paid $60. Guy was nice just won't be coming back, they only know how to cut people with straight hair. Sadly won't be coming back read more
