Last Friday I was waiting for a VERY important package (ok, it was Animal Crossing), and i was getting impatient and scared looking at all the one star reviews for this place. There is no number to call, which is annoying, and the best that can be done is calling the 1-800 number, which is mostly automated menus and, eventually, i guess if you swear and yell enough, you get put through to an obviously out-of-country call center. The lady i spoke with was nice (i didnt yell at her!) But did affirm my fear that I wasn't going to get a delivery that say, and also confirmed that this center is closed saturday. I resigned myself to having to wait til Monday.... But, lo, i checked the shipping status Saturday morning, and my game was out for delivery!! I got it before noon and I've been playing ever since. Im knocking a star for no number and being closed on the weekend, but seeing as i got my package and have something to do during self isolation I'm pretty pleased. read more

I ordered a mattress. I have scoliosis and Degenerative Disk Disease with a protruding disk in my lower back and risk losing my right leg due to pinched nerves in L4/L5. I made the purchase through Amazon on Saturday, Feb 28th. Amazon said the package would arrive by today, Thursday, March 5th. It's now delayed. I purchased a pair of snow boots off Ebay, the seller used UPS as their delivery service. the tracking number is UPS and when the package was SUPPOSEDLY DELIVERED, IT WAS UPS that sent the package delivered message. when i call customer service they ask for my tracking number and say, i see you need help with your Amazon package which clearly is not the case but i cant get them to acknowledge the issue. Once again, the Earth City, MO UPS delivery drivers have failed to deliver a package that was shipped as Next Day Air stating that the business was closed, and delivery attempted. Supervisor Hanieka stated that I've had "a lot of claims" on my address and can no longer get packages. When asked about those claims she back tracked and stated there was " A " claim in 2023. Mind you it's 2024 and I've been getting my packages with no problem. Now all of a sudden I can't and it's up to the driver's discretion when again I've been getting packages THIS WEEK with no problem. Just making up lies. She was very rude, tried to talk over me and when asked for a territorial or district manager she claimed there was none. I was pleased and thankful with the staff for how helpful and friendly they were. I wrote an earlier review concerning this issue. This is an update. I had a package disappear during shipping from vendor back in August. UPS swore they gave it to USPS. USPS said they never received it. Never got to local post office or to me. Ultimately, the sender gave me a refund. Today, I received an email from the vendor stating that they got the package back last week. Thought it was someone phishing for information, so I called vendor and they verified the return. Looking at UPS tracking it appears that on 11/28/2023, the package reappeared and they tried to pass it off to USPS, but then UPS updated the address and returned the package to the vendor. Where has it been? No one can or will say. Another package I took to UPS for return in July also disappeared. That vendor tried to recharge me until I provided them a copy of the receipt showing I dropped it off, and they saw that it was scanned thru the same UPS hub. Something is peculiar! I picked up a package here on Thursday 3/19/20. It was when people were on very high alert due to Corona Virus but not quite everything was shut down. The two clerks waiting on people were being nice but moving people in and out as they should. Things appeared to be clean. The sender of my package required a signature and sent it a very secure way. I had a horrible experience here today. I got lost driving around trying to find the customer center. A big UPS truck drives up close onto my car and begins to lay hard on their horn and wave the F-U finger at me. Totally unprofessional. I set this business up over a year ago and I almost forgot about it until I missed a UPS delivery. This is the county customer center for missed deliveries and rerouting yet you can also have packages sent out from here. There's also a great service now that for a fee, lets you have packages rerouted for your ease and convenience .This customer center unlike the one in the city on Jefferson doesn't see as much traffic. I have had good experiences here with tracking numbers and bad experiences but all the same there was at least one or two associates that were willing to go out of their way to find my package in a timely manner. This location also provides packing supplies and boxes for a fee. I prefer to do business and prefer people send me packages through USPS but if I have to I'll roll with UPS. The first thing I said when arriving was that I was there to pickup a live animal and the clerk turned around and picked the packaged and spun it around in his hands????? If I could give 0 stars I would. There seems to be some scam/fraud activity at this facility between the UPS drivers from the Earth City, MO location and the nearby Amazon warehouse on Springdale Rd. I had a package with expensive gifts and important work related material that was not delivered to the correct address. The driver allegedly took my package to the Amazon Warehouse instead to the address that was on the label. I say allegedly because the person that the driver said signed and received the package at Amazon warehouse was not working that day and is actually off on Thursdays (the day the package was to be delivered). I know this information because after visiting the UPS Earth City location and was told the package was delivered to the Amazon Warehouse , I went to the Amazon Warehouse and was told by the manager that the person who allegedly signed for it does not work on Thursdays. The Amazon workers searched for the package and could not locate it. This was actually less than an hour after the invoice from UPS said it was delivered there. I spoke with several UPS workers from the Earth City location and was told several conflicting information. I was told initially that the driver that handle my package could not go and look for it and they could not contact him while in route. Later that evening I was told from someone named Justin (allegedly a upper management) that they would send that same driver out to look for it at the Amazon warehouse. Then the next day I receive a phone call stating they sent another driver not the original driver to look for the package at the Amazon warehouse. All untrue information, they didn't send anyone to Amazon looking for a mistake that their driver supposedly made! The ironic part is this EXACT SAME SITUATION happen back in July with my mother's package from the same Earth City location, and she was given the EXACT SAME INFORMATION. How is it that drivers from this Earth City location losses packages and claim they deliver it to an Amazon facility and falsify delivery acceptance? I truly believe its a scam to steal packages that's how! BEWARE when shipping thru this UPS Earth City location you will not receive your package and will not get any accurate information on its whereabouts or why it was not scan and delivered like the process says is should! read more

So a virus causes them to drive my package around town - even past my house - for four days before delivery. Inexcusable. Customer service is off-shore and speaks poor English; line garbled. I am still waiting on what started out to be a LIVE plant on June 9th, 9 DAYS AGO, originally scheduled for delivery by June 12th, 5 days ago. It is still not here. $50 down the drain. I know when and IF I receive it, it will be dead or near death. The Earth City website offers no local phone number to talk to someone at that particular facility!! They only have one toll-free number for the nation. Horrible. I entered the tracking number numerous times. Finally yesterday it was "OUT FOR DELIVERY" - ha! Today it AGAIN states "OUT FOR DELIVERY" with no time window to be found. The guy I talked to this morning at their 800 number was hard to hear and had a thick accent. This company is not willing to work with a customer and does not seem to care! After talking when them on a previous package I went to pick it up. They had 45 minutes to get it available for pickup but still had to wait over 30 minutes. They are slow and the personnel at this station obviously does not care about the individual customer they are delivering to... My 3 rules of sending a package: 1.) Half the time it is returned due to my schedule and inability to pick it up or I wait hours for the truck to return so I can. UPS is worse than the postal service. I expected a package to be delivered on a friday. When I checked the status of the package Friday morning, it then said it will be delivered on Monday. Unfortunately they do not have a direct line that I can call, so I had to call the 1-800 #. The reason given to me was because of "Covid" and "they are understaffed". I've had plenty of packages arrive on time from different delivery services with 0 problems. And if you're understaffed, then why are you closed on Saturday and Sunday? Don't you think to compensate for that, you should at least be open on Saturday, especially during Covid? Aren't you all essential? They said my package is still on a trailer. Wow, so not only is it late, the contents will be ruined because of the heat. Thanks UPS :/ They seriously dropped the ball on this one, and they have ruined the surprise gift I had for my grandpa.
