I just got off the phone with a supplier to arrange yet another re-shipment of a "lost" UPS package. Packages going through the Hialeah UPS sorting center constantly disappear. UPS doesn't seem to care at all, no matter how many complaints are being filed. I have to side with numerous other reviewers who assume that at this facility organized theft is the standard. It is very sad that UPS management chose to ignore this issue so far. read more

One of the things myself and many others have come to rely on "these times" is online ordering and delivery services such as UPS. My current experience cements that UPS is definitely the worst of them! I ordered a new iPhone, and for whatever reason my carrier delivered through this company. Sidetracking for sake of comparison, I ordered the new Apple Watch directly from Apple. They shipped thru UPS competition. My watch came on the promised date and time, well packaged and I'm already using said watch. Now, with regard to my erstwhile new phone. Even though my delivery clearly states that delivery is to a business address, UPS gives themselves a delivery window to 9pm. At that time, I'm typically at the gym and my office lobby is closed. The only thing this place has going for it is that it has a historical marker for where Amelia Earhart took off for on her fateful flight. Sadly, it appears my phone order is in a similar limbo. Tracking the package on the ups app, it showed "Out for Delivery " yet another line item on the screen shows that it was at the UPS customer center. I don't remember what combination I pressed in their extremely customer unfriendly Voice response system because it in ear impossible to speak directly to an agent, but said agent said the package was at the Hialeah location. Off I drive to this facility and it's extremely austere waiting room only to find that my package was..NOT THERE. I try calling the 800 number again but alas no luck this time in speaking with a person. As of this moment, the app shows my order as "Information Unavailable ". Hence the 1 star review. Most people are tech savvy enough that we would use apps for a majority of dealings with a business. In my case, I only call when it's something significant. Therefore, make it easier to directly talk to an agent! read more

Terrible service. UPS is allowing packages marked "Live Animals" to die. I will NEVER use this company again. I could not even speak to representatives in the US. I did call several times and always spoke to people in Cairo, Egypt and other countries. They couldn't help, and of course it was difficult to understand them. I thought the United States, post office was bad, but they are admirable compared to UPS. I will never ever do business with this company again worthless no good employees are rude. Impossible to get a real person on the phone. I had a set of rims and a set of tires at my front door that I had to get picked up and returned to the proper people. The two different items we're going two different places in the country. The UPS drivers must be on drugs. I've been having issues with getting my orders delivered to me through UPS. Amazon has been successful , fedex has as well. I've even called customer service to find out the issue , just to have them tell me they don't know why my packages isn't being delivered. I have cameras on my property which confirms they don't even attempt a drop off. I constantly have to drive to this specific location to pick up. They are inept and unprofessional to their core. They change addresses and say "the customer requested pickup" when I, the customer, have never done so. They tell me my address isn't in their system and that they'll "contact dispatch to fix it" but either they don't do it or "dispatch" isn't checking their emails or notices. The supervisor in the morning says they'll fix the problem while another supervisor in the evening says the problem is still in the system and that they'll "contact dispatch", and when I tell that that that isn't enough because last time they "contacted dispatch" the problem wasn't resolved he hung up and refuses to pick up the phone again. Refuses is in present tense because I AM STILL TRYING TO REACH THEM ON THE PHONE! read more

This review isn't for the Hialeah center, specifically, though I'd rather go to the DMV, the dentist, and get a pap smear all in the same day than ever have to go back there. Hell, this review might not even be about UPS. It's about Miami work ethic in general. I spent almost $40 to have something shipped to me overnight. Delivery was scheduled for 9:30am. At 10, I called UPS and was advised that my package was still on the truck, and that it would arrive no later than 10:30. At 10:40, I watched the status on the tracking page change from "IN TRANSIT" to "DELIVERY ATTEMPTED." I'd been standing by my window the entire time, waiting to catch a glimpse of the truck. When I saw the alleged delivery attempt status, I ran into the road like an asshole. No truck in sight. LIES. Now, I'm going to have to leave work two hours early to sit in the traffic that inexplicably leads into the bowels of Hialeah, so that I can probably be told that my driver didn't return with my package. Or that he absconded to Mexico with the entire truck. Who knows, it's Hialeah. And to amend my previous statement...I'd rather get a pap smear AT the DMV than go back there. read more

This is the UPS hub (receiving and shipping) for most Miami-Dade addresses between SW 100th Street and NE 135th Street. If the UPS label says "FL-330" then it will pass through this hub. If you're receiving anything of high value or anything fragile, I strongly urge you to have it delivered to a Broward or Palm Beach UPS Store for pickup. Same goes for you shippers. It's a bit of a headache but well worth it to not have to put up with damaged or missing merchandise. Imagine a box with a high bursting strength being crushed!? Imagine a 100" metal pole being bent?! Yeah... that's the UPS Hialeah Hub! Pretty much any box that has passed through the Hialeah hub looks like it has been to Ecuador and back. Corners are frequently pushed in and the box is typically filthy. read more

good morning! this is my second time posting a complaint about our local ups station (Hialeah). we never again have had a regular daily driver, it's always a different one every day and they get here later than our cut off time every day. we are a company that have worked with ups for about 50 years and rely on our customers for business. The UPS Hialeah distribution center employees are completely incompetent and the worst experience ever. I ordered packages online and part of my order arrived via FedEx; however, the other half was supposed to arrive via UPS. After never making it, nor being contacted, they immediately sent my packages back. I did not even get a sticker saying they attempted! The driver claimed apartment number wasn't on package which it clearly was! I called customer service center who claim they can't do anything on their end and you must be called within an hour from the store. I had to call back 2-4x day for 3 days and speak to 2 supervisors at the call center to finally get a call back! One of their Access Points is never opened so I can't retrieve my package (it's been 2 days now) and apparently, UPS can't get my package back either. UPS headquarters told me they will send a request for Hialeah UPS to call me by 10am. 11am still no call so HQ sent a second request. It's almost 12:30pm and still no call. I went ahead and filed a claim online since apparently, no one from this office plans to call me. In the meantime, Amazon stepped up to the plate and made things right. Love Amazon, UPS Hialeah and their Access Point (Milagros Coin Laundry) has a lot to be desired. The only thing I like about UPS is their delivery driver, he is very kind, patient, and sweet every time he delivers here. I wish the rest of UPS' employees were as amazing as he is. read more

By far the worse experience!!! Drivers don't have enough common sense to knock on a door to see if someone is home or even leave a notice of attempt of delivery, and when I've called in regards to the matter no all I get told is that someone will call me back but no one ever does... I decided to take the option to have all my packages to be held at this location and of 4 packages only two where held and the other two where left at some other residence... And it may not be the warehouse staffs fault but all they can do is have me call the 1800 number that gives me the run around and promises to have someone call me who never does. The did not call or send a message and decided to return the package to sender in Missouri whe it was in Florida and was detined to Florida. I was expecting a large package to be delivered on 11/18 and it is now 11/27 and the package has not been delivered yet. I track the package online and call everyday and I am provided with a different excuse each time, yet they ensure that package would be delivered by the end of the day each day I call. The 1-800 UPS reps have put in several requests for this location to contact me regarding my package; however, I have yet to hear back from anyone. Not only is my package lost somewhere in their facility or in the driver's truck and are unable to provide a legitimate status, but they also refuse to hold the package in the facility for customer pickup because it is 'too heavy'. Like everyone else below, I wish I could give 0 stars, if I could give negative stars I would be even happier. I am at the point of screaming at customer service personnel on the phone due to the incompetence of the drivers and employees at this center. My story starts last Wednesday, when I asked if I could set a more defined time frame for the delivery of my package on Friday. I'm told they can't provide this service until the day of, and am told to call back Friday morning. When I call on Friday around 8am, I'm told it's too late to guarantee this service, that guess what? Wednesday was the "cut off day." Ok, I remain calm. Ask them if they can attempt to reach the driver and let him know that my sister is home waiting for the package but she can only be there until 2:30/3pm. Give the instructions on how to get inside the gates building. The package will be delivered before 1:45pm I'm told. No one has shown up, so my sister leaves. I call them, open a case, and I'm told someone from Hialeah will call me in less than an hour. Sure, ok buddy. Long story short, it is now Wednesday. No one from Hialeah has called. Matter of fact, someone from Hialeah keeps changing my delivery appointments to requests to pick up the package so I've had about 9 phone calls in total to the 800 number (a 5'2 woman requested to pick up a queen sized bed in her Toyota and then bring it up 2 flights of stairs. Seems legit). I finally arranged to have my bed delivered this afternoon by 3pm. I leave work early and speed like a bat out of hell down Biscayne Blvd to get home before that time. It's 2:57pm and what do I find? "Sorry we missed you" notice! SORRY?! I'm livid. LIVID. I've been on the phone for 41 minutes and the outsourced agent keeps trying to get me off the phone by promising that someone in Hialeah will call me. I refuse. They are completely unwilling to connect you with someone in the facility and are now trying to get me to meet the driver somewhere to get my package because he's out of my area. I had never had issues with UPS in the past 10 years until I moved to this new location which the Hialeah store is apparently the distributor for. In the past month I've had 2 issues!!! The worst was today though when they "dropped off my package" 10 min before arrived home and there was no package! They straight up stole my package and pretended to drop it off because there WAS someone home but they didn't even bother to knock. These drivers are ghetto and untrustworthy. The attitude of the service people at this location is very questionable. Especially the person who called us to report a package as "found", as if it was lost in the first place. We asked to return the package to sender but all we got is this UPS center trying to "beat" the system as if the delivery was made. From the very beginning of the call this person was hostile to us.
