It has not moved, the state it is lost and they cant find it, but only after a week of calling and emails did the launch their "investigation" team, which has done nothing. I consider this a theft of a item that is in high demand and currently sold out due to the covid 19 crisis. foolishly the seller writes the item on the box so they know what they stole. Every person i talk to gives the same canned scripted broken english answer. Incredibly dysfunctional. Been waiting for weeks to find a package that simply says "lost" on the website. Another package says "package will be delivered today", but it has said that for several days now... and no package. It's been numerous occasions now where packages aren't delivered not time. I do not mean minutes or ever hours late but days late. A package was supposed to be delivered Friday by 9:00pm. Then 10:00pm roles around and no package on top of that it's a package that needs a signature and we sat and were waiting for it to be delivered. Then an update says it won't be delivered till Monday but by 9:00pm again. This time I am able to see the truck route and track my driver I checked at least 40-50 times and saw the truck drive through my neighborhood on two occasions and then when he is on the next street over decides to not deliver the package and drives back to the ups center when he was 15 seconds away from my house. I'm so sick of ups making me wait around to sign for a package and then not even come close to the 2-6pm window that was promised. I wanted to leave a quick review because of all of the negative feedback. I, like many of you, was not home when my package was delivered. I also knew that I would not be home for the re-delivery. I called UPS (yes, I got the recording and just said "representative" until I got a person) and asked to have it routed to the closest location where I could pick it up. This was it. I looked it up, because I can't do anything without checking yelp first lol, and was extremely discouraged. Well, at least I was prepared to have a rough time. To my surprise, picking up my package was as easy as it gets! I went in, told them my name, they found my package, and I was done! Total time was less than 5 mins, perfect! Can't say much about UPS. I mean there is not too many options when sending packages. Occasionally I have to stop in to send out an auto part and it's right down the street from my shop. The employees just seem like they hate their job and don't want to be bothered. Service is horrible! My packages do get to their destination, so I guess that's a positive note. Do not EVER have your packages held here for pickup. I try not to lose my cool on customer service people (because of course it is not their fault, and I know that really gets me nowhere), but man, this place..... not cool. I came in at 8:15a.m. to pick up my package that was being held there. I was told the "dispatcher is going to get it from the truck". 40 Minutes later, and after multiple check-in's from me, I am told my package cannot be located. Give me accurate information from the start. If the package is LOST, just TELL me so I know what I'm dealing with. Don't keep me hanging for 40 mins based on some inaccurate information that my package is "on the truck". So now I'm late for work after hustling to get to UPS and have people thinking I'm some mean dragon lady because I'm so frustrated. I still don't know where my package is....it is lost in the brown vortex of bad customer service and lost packages. Also note, the customer center entrance is a right turn off of Bingham Drive on Armorlite Drive. There is a parking lot for customers. Don't be like me and park on Bingham Drive. This UPS hub is mediocre. It has taken a large amount of work on my part to have them deliver to my address and not some other address that is similar. Repeated phone calls and constant watching of tracking. Honestly, if your job is to deliver and read the address correctly, then why is it so hard? It's not like this is favor on your way home, to drop a package off and oh by the way- you don't know where the address is-it's the sole business model of the UPS company-to deliver packages. I get frequent deliveries too. When you call this hub, sometimes they are rude. Never know what you get. Key word- Training. Frustrated is how I feel. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. First time shame on them, second time shame on them. Shipped something standard over night to northern cal for a job were doing. Guess what...because all packages are handled by a machine and not by a person it got mis routed and went to riverside. So it cost our company and our customer over $5000 in lost wages because they didn't deliver as promised. The first time they lost a package with $6000 but losing it wasn't the problem. We ordered a special dinner for a wedding couple during the lock down. We paid extra to have the dinner delivered on their wedding night. The shipment made it all the way to the San Marcua distribution center. But these folks AT THE LAST MINUTE didnt deliver. They were not reachable by phone. What a huge disappointment for all. Of course the store hides behind their corporate number so you can't contact them directly. We had an attempted delivery on a 2 day air item. We needed the item so we tried to call for a pickup, however, the info ticket number came up as not found. Once we found tracking from the original sender, it said the package had been delivered. We thought we had simply not looked closely enough and it was left at our door. Go back a few hours later to check and we had a second attempt, which was very frustrating. We rushed to the UPS hub right before closing. Mike went above and beyond to find our package for us- even though it was not his responsibility. Employees like him, willing to fix a situation on a Friday right before closing, are the largest asset to your company. Thank you Mike, we really appreciate you and your attitude. read more

This is the second time in less than a month that UPS failed to do their job... deliver packages. The first was my daughter's only key fob to her car. She sent it to me next day air only to have them loose the package and place the tracking number on "hold for investigation" four days later it was delivered to the bushes in front of my house. I think the driver literally threw it from the street towards my house. The most recent was three days ago. Notification on my door stating it needed to be signed. I signed the back. They place a second notification with a written note saying "In Person" I wrote on that note the following "People work either come back after 5 or on the weekend." I received a third and final notice saying they were sending my package back. Really nice I think they are in the business of returning packages but not really delivering packages. This company sucks and it's customer service is so bad you would probably do better with FedEx or UPSP but if you'd like your package not delivered or perhaps lost altogether then send it UPS. read more

I called through the 800 # and they notified the San Marcos Facility. Although the facility was closed on Saturday, we received a call that we could pick-up our package. And I'm the owner) they wanted me to have a letter stating I had permission to pick up my own package. But I showed the guy my ID & business card and it was no hassle at all. Forget calling. This is where the packages are delivered from and the drivers are absolutely terrible. We had items delivered broken that we had to return. The driver comes to the house, rings the doorbell, runs back to his truck to drive away and my wife comes to the door and into the driveway and he's completely rude to her about having to pick up the package. Tells her he just wants to get out of here. The second package return, driver leaves a tag for attempted pickup when the package is sitting outside with return information / tag on it. I tried to reschedule pickup with UPS and of course no one calls me back. Went through Amazon to reschedule pickup, and the awful UPS driver does the same exact thing...leaves another pickup slip / return tag where he had to walk past the package to get it. I ultimately had to take it to the distribution center myself and do the guy's job for him. Worthless. I will say the people at the front counter at this center are nice and helpful, but even they are frustrated with the lack of quality drivers UPS has and having to get chewed out by customers!! I have had far too many bad experiences with UPS and their call center customer service is also horrible / ineffectual. Hope Amazon gets into freight business sooner rather than later and takes UPS out. read more

ZERO stars. I have no idea why they would attemp to deliver a package in pitch dark, in the middle of a rural country area at 8:50pm where there are NO streetlights and only dirt roads. This is the second attempt to deliver this Amazon package. I gave specific instructions, how to get to my home, to call me if they could not find the home, but most importantly, deliver the package in DAYLIGHT!!!! The second attempt they told AMAZON that there was nobody available to sign for it which was a lie. When I asked to have the package delivered to our local mailbox store they were going to charge me. I am going to pick it up at their headquarters because I am sick of waiting and being lied to. I will be sure to file a complaint at the main store as well. For the second year in a row UPS has messed up the delivery of my new iPhone. Last year I was told several days in a row that the phone had been delivered to the Verizon store. When I drove there my phone was not in the package even though UPS said it had been delivered. Today I was supposed to receive my new phone at my house. They said it was delivered. I never got it. Even though I had to sign for it they marked it as having been delivered. And of course there is no way to personally talk to the distribution center. I have called twice tonight and left messages. I have been assigned a case number. So now I have to wait until tomorrow morning, maybe if they can deliver it correctly tomorrow. And I don't want to wait until 9 PM again. It is 8:35 PM right now and still no phone and no call from the center saying what happened. How can they mess up so badly. Maybe it is a new driver. He got to be fired. Maybe President Trump should've put DeJoy in charge of the UPS instead of the post office! I am so mad I could spit bullets. This year I thought it would be easier to have them deliver it to my house. Wrong. 0 stars!!! The absolute worst service I've ever experienced. I waited several days to receive court documents by express mail needed on 07/06/2021. Driver claims he delivered my package, but no package was ever delivered. All they had to say was "I'm sorry, start an investigation" by phone. I drove to this location to determine the issue, the woman at the front desk was very helpful with trying to track down the delivery driver. I'm not sure why the hell he is working if he can't even do his job correctly. There is only one apartment #7 in my building and it could not have been that hard to find. Directions specifically said " Leave package at the front door and ring the doorbell." Ring doorbell did not have any video footage of a package being delivered. Just pisses me off!! Now I'm responsible for all the future fees due to these late documents. Just disgusting!!! read more

Usually I don't have problems with UPS and maybe I should partially blame the company I bought the item from but UPS could of done better. I have a login with UPS My Choice so I can see my delivery status online and usually there's a link where you can see the progress of the delivery truck. But today there was no link at first I didn't think any thing of it but it was getting later so I clicked on details and it said the sender had requested that they hold the package at a UPS center but it didn't say where. I tried to call and find out but they don't have any live operators because of COVID-19 which is crazy cause every other company has operators working from home so why can't they do that. So I guess I'll have to drive to this customer center in San Marcos and hope that my package is there or they can find it. Well I will have to wait till Monday cause UPS changed their hours see picture I took now they close at 8pm when the use to open then so I got there at 8:05pm and they closed up right before and wouldn't open back up. UPS Customer Center - Shipping Centers Near Me - San Marcos, California

I've had three occasions within a couple months where my package cannot be delivered because a different delivery driver was on duty and he didn't know the gate code and I've had to go to San Marcos myself to pick up the packages. If I was allowed the correct gate code as a resident, I'd easily have been able to inform them for future reference, but that was not the case. So it was essentially on them to speak directly to the complex management to update their codes. However, this third time around, I gave them a call and asked if the package could just be delivered again. This time they actually came to my door, quite late in the evening (but on the same day that it was suppose to be delivered), and made the effort to get into the gate to deliver me my package. I think that made up for the previous times. And I believe that's great customer service. So thank you guys for doing that. I hope you can find the correct codes to prevent this from happening to other customers packages. read more

I've found the customer service (counter) employees to be very professional, friendly and helpful. I've also found the security guard (gate person) and the drivers going through courteous (including drivers stopping to let me get across to the walkway.) I will say that I had one jerky home delivery driver, but he seems to have disappeared. If you go to the service center, go in prepared with your forms completed and your ID available. If you walk in and expect the counter people to complete forms on your behalf because you are too lazy to read and work through answering the questions, you will end up disappointed as you should be. UPS has become another USPS service with delays, poor handling and more. They receive perishable items and then hold them in non-refrigerated hubs for over a day and then put them on a non-refrigerated truck in 100 degree heat for delivery, and that delivery is delayed. Imagine receiving fresh flowers that were shipped several days ago and being in the heat for two days. And UPS is unapologetic and blames everyone but themselves. The package arrived and scanned at 0600 and then was scanned again at 0700. Yet they could not get it on a truck to send out, while several other items are placed on a truck at 0830 and expected the same day. So other than Amazon, we are screwed with crap service from every shipper. read more

NEVER do business with UPS. Not only are they incompetent but the customer service which is in the Philippines is a waste of time. Our merchandise, a bed platform and headboard arrived in the San Marcos facility on Friday at 3:58 am and was supp ode to be delivered by 8:00 pm that same day. No delivery. Same story for Saturday. I waited on hold Monday morning from 6:30 to 7:30 am for customer failure of service on the only number posted online, and was told someone from the facility where the merchandise arrived would call me by 10:00 am. I had to come on here to write a review about Kris. Absolutely OUTSTANDING customer service. I have a concert this weekend up in San Fran not a short drive from San Diego and I was leaving tomorrow morning. The tickets I had purchased for the concert were suppose to be delivered today but my apartment number wasn't included on the order. She called and let me know they aren't able to deliver if the address is incorrect, my mistake completely. She took the time to search and find my correct apartment number but couldn't get it delivered back today. She called me to let me know I could pick it up at the local office and let me know exactly what time the driver would arrive back. Even called me twice to confirm the time I could come to make sure I got the tickets. I am blown away with the effort that she went through to make sure I got my package tonight. I can't thank her enough!!
