UPS has stolen my phone! Only 2 attempts have been made and there should have been 3. Contacted them concerning my package and the representative told me that I could have to file a claim with my phone carrier so that they can begin their investigation. I would not recommend using ups for delivery. No further attempts have been made by ups upon request. I missed the first two times because I was at work. Will never use this service again. In short: UPS driver was speeding on my private driveway - on gravel and paved road - he wasn't paying attention to his actions, sped past the Package Drop sign, and on his way off my property, he managed to hit my dog, who had given birth 4 days prior. Her back legs were paralyzed and the vet recommended euthanizing rather than doing surgery. For a moment UPS was cooperative, but the moment they were caught in lies (trying to cover up malicious practices) they retreated and said they cannot help us any longer. 1. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST. Sent a package from NJ to SC. It arrived at the SC facility safe and sound. Somewhere between leaving the facility and the receiver's destination, the package was damaged--even though it was CLEARLY marked "FRAGILE" "CONTAINS GLASS" "DO NOT LAY FLAT". When I became aware of the damage, I contacted UPS to find out what happened--but of course, the toll-free customer service was useless. I was told there would be an investigation and someone would get back to me with the results. Instead, I get automated updates telling me that the receiver REFUSED DELIVERY (which they absolutely did NOT do). I told UPS I wanted the package returned to me so I could evaluate it for myself. Today, I learned they THREW IT AWAY. Again, all this information came to me via computer-generated email updates through my UPS account. At NO time did ANYONE at UPS reach out to me with details, FACTS, or any other useful information. If I didn't live so far away, I'd drive over to the SC facility and demand an explanation. I had multiple packages that needed a signature. They notified me that the packages were on the truck on a Wednesday and I had to be home between 1:15-5:15. Delivery never came and driver noted that the address was wrong. I have video of the driver backing into my neighbors driveway (looking directly at my house with numbers on the mailbox and the wall on the side of driveway) then pulling away. We have lived in this house for over 7 years and have received hundreds of packages. Ups had just delivered a package the day before. I called customer service in the evening and they said would contact the Spartanburg Service Center to notify them the address was correct and to reschedule delivery. Driver came back to my neighbors house and sat in the driveway and entered that they could not find house, address was incorrect. I called customer service again...this went on until Monday. I had to stay home every afternoon to be there to sign sign for the package. On Saturday customer service gave me the unlisted number for the Spartanburg Center. My wife called Monday morning to explain what was going on and to find out how and when we would get our packages. They were making excuses and my wife got a little heated and said something to the effect that the driver was an idiot and after staying home for 4 afternoons her husband was going to be really pissed if we don't get a delivery today. UPS response - You threatened our driver and we will no longer deliver to your home. You will have to drive one hour to the service center to get these and any future packages. Usually my UPS guy is really great! Today though he left my package and didn't take packages that were ready to ship. I had put in a request for pickup and left a note on packages to let me know he was here. I try to give him a cold water, and a snack when he does a pickup. I called the local UPS Center, and explained he'd just pulled out, hoping she'd call him and have him come back. She was rude and laughed at me. I use UPS several times a week and I would think they'd value customers, because we keep them employed! read more

If I could rate this place as a "no star", I would! I've NEVER experienced such HORRIBLE customer service. I wait at home all day for my package just for the driver to pull up in front of my house, then to drive off. The next day, while I'm at work, the driver mentions that I have to pay some BOGUS import fee that wasn't listed until then. He then takes my package to their Customer Center only for them to give me the run around saying "my package is still on the truck, come back later", "I know that it's later, but we don't have your package", "your package is here, but you're too early to pick it up". To start off the lady at the counter couldn't be any more disrespectful doesn't seems to care about customers. Second the driver didn't even make the effort to drop my package off at my apartment, not to mention it was already a day late.
