    Terrible service, you pay a premium to ship and get people who don't understand english and barely speak it. Way to go UPS!

    I'm writing this review on behalf of a close friend who had a very serious and stressful experience…read morewith this location. He shipped personal items (used clothes and personal belongings only), but the agent incorrectly declared the contents with completely false information and inflated values that did not belong to him (hundreds of clothing items and even unrelated goods). Because of this negligence, the shipment was: Misrouted internationally Delayed for over 2 months Subjected to excessive customs duties and investigations My friend had to visit this location over 50 times trying to fix the issue. Despite this, the staff initially refused to correct their mistakes and showed unprofessional and disrespectful behavior. The situation caused significant financial loss and extreme stress, affecting not only him but also his family overseas. Only after major escalation and confirmation from DHL abroad was the issue partially corrected -- clearly proving the error originated from this agent. The case has been formally escalated to multiple parties, including the Illinois Attorney General's Office, DHL offices in Florida, and DHL offices in Germany. All supporting documents and evidence have been submitted for official review. Additionally, there were serious concerns about inappropriate and potentially discriminatory remarks related to religious identity, which raises further questions about the professionalism and conduct of this location. This is not a small mistake. This is serious negligence that caused real damage. I strongly advise anyone to be extremely careful when dealing with this location.

    These people stole over $300 from me and are refusing to engage with U-Haul over getting it…read moreretuned. I returned me rental and the person working said I was all checked in and good to go. They then charge me saying I drove hundreds of miles and had the truck for multiple more hours. This did not happen and I provided pictures to proof of the day, time, location and mileage of when I returned the truck. The managers here have refused to look at those pictures so I'm taking it here. Give me my money back and I'll take down my reviews.

The Estes terminal I work with the most is in Southern…read moreCalifornia, and although they have lost shipments or skipped pickups, their service has mostly been okay - I at least know what I'm getting. My last experience with this Estes terminal in Chicago was less than stellar, but this last time, I have to say, I'm extremely impressed. A shipment came in later than their expected delivery date (minus the star), but over the weekend, on Sunday, the Estes rep at the terminal went out of her way to ensure I was able to coordinate a Dock pickup to get our delivery ASAP. She kept me up to date throughout the day on when the trailer was being unloaded, and when she had to leave for the day, made sure someone else at the terminal was following up with me. Seriously, this is above and beyond service in an industry that unfortunately expects very little out of most LTL carriers. I'm not sure I would count always on an accurate transit time, but I will absolutely now be able to count on the folks at Estes in Chicago looking after my freight and being there, responsive, and responsible as far as our freight is concerned.

The retailer was trying to get in touch with them to give them instructions and they weren't answering. I got an automated call saying they'd be here between 8 and noon. Nada. Then a text at 2:45 that it was in route. At 6, nada. I spoke with the Retailer and they were able to make an arrangement saying it would deliver Monday. Fine. At 8:45pm I get a text from my neighbor. Informing me of...a package outside of the gate?! In the middle of the sidewalk!!!
