Location was very convenient too, easy drive into Norfolk and Virginia Beach. I'll start off with the part where I F'd up by booking with a 3rd party that turned out to be a scam. I had arrived at the hotel and was trying to check-in. IF you see advertisements by Vio, showing cheaper prices, don't book with them. They're not legit at all and it was a s***show trying to coordinate with them to locate my booking, because the hotel definitely didn't have my booking in their system. Vio's customer service number doesn't work; it'll come up as "not in service" and then their online customer support, it's basically like dealing with an AI system. After about an hour trying to deal with that BS, I decided to take an "L" and just book a room directly with the hotel. Kudos to the professionalism and patience of the two ladies working that afternoon at the front desk for dealing with my cussing and annoyance at Vio. The room I got was pretty good. Bed was comfortable, shower water pressure was good. Room was a decent size. Only gripe was there was the only one elevator. All in all, a good first experience here, minus the Vio debacle. I would stay here again.

This was the most unacceptable hotel experience my family has ever had…read more My sister arrived around 1:00 PM to check in and was told her room wasn't ready, but that it would be available when she returned later that evening after visiting family. When she came back around 8:15 PM, she was informed that there still wasn't a clean room available. To make matters worse, there was only one employee working, no housekeeping staff available, and no manager who could be reached. The only solution offered was for my sister to take clean sheets and towels and spend the night in a room that would be cleaned the following morning. When she saw the room, it was absolutely filthy and clearly had not been cleaned after the previous guest. I cannot understand how any hotel could believe it was acceptable to offer a room in that condition to a paying customer. At that point, we had no choice but to scramble to find another hotel late in the evening. Nearby hotels were sold out, and we ultimately had to book a much more expensive room elsewhere. I understand that hotels occasionally face staffing challenges, but there is no circumstance in which offering an obviously dirty, unprepared room should be considered an acceptable solution. The lack of housekeeping, the inability to reach a manager, and the handling of the situation made an already stressful evening much worse. I hope management takes this seriously and puts procedures in place to ensure no other guest has to experience what my sister did.

I was very happy with the atmosphere of a club room-designed shop. Micheal's service and attention to detail were of the highest caliber. The whole point of ordering custom clothes is to feel that this is an important process of "old-school" heritage, with the twist of new technology, in both the ordering process and the fabrics to choose from. I was very happy with my order and also liked the fact that we created a design with the suggestions that helped mold details into my jacket into the final design. It's refreshing to know that there is a place that you can trust and believe put a lot of passion into the efforts of customer service to such a high level. I look forward to returning and creating another masterpiece to be added to my wardrobe collection.

To be fair, after reserving our room the hotel manager contacted me to let me know the hotel was under renovation. She let me know that public spaces like the lobby and bistro were closed, which can be expected with renovations. However, no one could have prepared me for the true condition of the property. The hotel is actually under major construction. In fact an entire floor is under construction, with debris and equipment blocking walkways. Because the main entrance is closed, side doors were propped open with things like rocks and crow bars, which presents an obvious security issue. As soon as we got to our room my daughter noticed a bug crawling down the wall in the bathroom and one bed had sheets with stains. Our bed had a literal hole in the side of it. The full scope of the project should have been shared. The severity of the construction was not communicated. We were intentionally duped! I filed a complaint with corporate only to find out that the sales manager Kayla Lawrence flat out lied. She said photos were sent and she called me, which was not true (at least for me). I've been upfront and honest that I received an email from her stating the hotel was undergoing renovations, but the extent of the construction was not conveyed. Had pictures been sent and the calls made as Kayla Lawrence claims, this review would not exist.

Almost impossible as a matter of fact. Anything can be ordered. The price point and selection today holds back the 5 stars. They are a full retail, no sales store. They do have a reward system that you can get discounts after a certain amount of points. Ask the clerk. When browsing on a weekday around 11 AM they were not busy. A clerk immediately assisted me and was both friendly and helpful. The same clerk checked me out and the process was smooth. When it comes to quality they have you covered with name brands that I rely on such as Polo RL and Nautica. The store is sectioned off nicely and displays attractive.
