This resale store was just okay. Most of the inventory was furniture. Pricing was high and many things were dirty or needed repair. There is a limited selection of clothing, but the pricing for clothes is fair. Service was not friendly. There were two employees, but neither of them acknowledged me at all. I wouldn't return to this location to shop or donate. I think there are other options in the area with better service and selection. read more

I had a really weird experience here. I came to the front to try on clothes and Maria the lady behind the counters face went from a smile to being bothered. She opened the door and then said I could just try on 5 things. I said okay can I put the items outside the changing room and she said I could. But really gave me funny look as if I was stealing clothes. I have never felt like that before from a salesperson. Then I bought the two shirts and Maria asked if I left my clothes in the changing room. I said no I left them hung up on hangers outside the door. She said well you are supposed to put the clothes away. I have never heard of this? I liked the clothes. But she was not friendly. Even my daughter made a comment that she thought that was strange. I love supporting Community Warehouse in Keller and have in various ways for years. When I go in their resale location in Keller, however, interactions with the manager are always negative. she has answered me sarcastically or rudely every time I'm in there. it's not just me--I've heard her speak so rudely to many shopping there especially those who struggle speaking English. Today she spoke in an unkind way to someone who asked about some furniture and then completely ignored the customer when she tried to ask a follow up question. Totally unnecessar. read more

My friend is partially blind and hard of hearing!!1 She is very courteous. She asked a young man with glasses what the price of a bracelet was, he shoved a sign in her face and was rude. Unbelievable, they were putting items away and I suppose we got in their way, never will I go in there again. I have money to shop where I want!! I like to patronize good causes. Your items are priced too high, can buy new elsewhere. You also were unloading a truck and blocking doorway. Safety issue. read more

The manager / owner was rude . I said hello and she looked at my feet with a snobby look on her face looking down at my feet . The staff held their head down . I asked someone to help me find something . She quickly called him away from me . She had the worst singing voice too and she was singing loudly to top 40 80's music . So Upscale Resale is one (of two I think) resale shops run by Community Storehouse. This resale shop is where I came to drop off my registration by the "guaranteed a t-shirt drop off date." While there I looked around a bit, and found it to be quite your typical resale shop with all manner of used clothing and items. If you like shopping at this type of store, this one's not too bad (A-OK). Now there is a slight update to this story, because come race packet pickup day, they had no record of my entry. Lucky for me I was picking up my packet at Bear Creek Running Co, in Keller, because that's who I won the entry from, so Mark was able straighten things out. Bottom line: I do like their mission statement - Help a child now. Prevent a lifetime of trouble. read more

this organization doesn't even give their profits to the keller isd schools anymore. the store manager is terrible. she has issues with her anger. she has yelled at customers and her workers. she leaves her workers by themselves to open. i've also driven by later at night seeing the lights on and her employees that have been working all day still there at 9:00pm!! the prices are so high and almost all of the furniture she prices!! she works her employees into the ground and from what i've seen just can't be pleasant to work with. i feel so bad for of her employees and hope the find employment elsewhere. i hope that the customers that do shop there finally start seeing that this organization is terrible and does not do what they state in their mission. read more

Overall I like this store. Some things are very overpriced but sometimes you find some great deals. I love the fact that they give back to the community. I was really annoyed today when I walked up to the store and saw a big LOL toy marked with a green tag since green tags were half off today. The box was damaged but the toy appeared to be brand new. It was outside in front of the store in a section that said five for a dollar which I knew this toy obviously wasn't 20 cents s. So when I asked the gentleman that worked there to confirm if it would be half off of the sticker price of $45 (bc it had a green tag) he told me he wasn't sure. So I keep shopping around and figure we'll just figure it out when I get up to the register. As I was shopping the employee called someone on the phone and I heard him say "I'll fix that" And he proceeds to go in the back and print up a new label that is the color blue for $49.99 and place it on the box while it was in my cart. He then explained that someone put the wrong tag on it. And now I understand if a customer had done that and it was obviously not the right item or the right price. But it had a green tag and it was the only tag on the box So it was obviously an employee error. I was expecting it to be half off of the $45 price tag. As it was labeled. Not a fan of them re-pricing things when they make errors when it's in my cart. read more

Great business AND charity. Many items are in much better condition than found at Goodwill. Also, their prices are exceptional. I just purchased a love seat, in very good condition, for $50. They also offer affordable deli Update: Very odd. Upon delivery I found out they will only place it outside your location. They will not carry into your home. The reason many people pay for delivery is to also receive help with carrying it. Won't pay for delivery again. Too expensive for transport only. read more

Upscale Resale and the Christ's Haven thrift store both in north Keller are WAYYYYYYYY OVER-PRICED!!!!!! Don't bother wasting your time, and more so your money, at these two thrift stores. Even before inflation this place was too high priced and now it's even worse. They apparently don't realize that the same stuff still sits on a shelf for a longtime and doesn't move or sell because it's too much money. People, this is a thrift store OMGGGGGG not an antique store which is why people go to to thrift stores. Good cause that it may support or not, simple decor items cannot be priced at $10 and more. When I first came in, I wasn't too sure about the quality of the place. Within 5 minutes of looking around, I found this place to be a gold mine! So many unique and cheap items that I simply adore. I just saw the lady at the counter go through a purse someone was buying as they were checking out because she was trying to say it should be more expensive than it was marked (it was a cute Brighton purse with some nail polish on the handle) and she found 75 dollars cash and a diamond wedding ring. The rong was clipped to the attached key chain insode the purse. She then said that both were clearly donations and handed the ring off for someone to see how much they should sell it for. They didnt even stop to say that maybe they should try to find the owner of the ring and the money. Such awful people, i will NEVER shop there or donate to them again! If you're missing a ring and have donated to them recetly, i'd hurry in because your ring probably won't be there for much longer. read more

The shop is part of the larger Community Storehouse charitable organization. Proceeds are used by CS to serve children and families in need in Keller & surrounding communities. Upscale Resale is clean & pretty well organized. The staff is friendly. Prices are a little higher than a garage sale, but they have a lot of 50%-off sales. They have furniture, clothing, shoes, household goods, decor, books, and a few toys. Everything in the store is donated and new items are put out frequently so the inventory changes every day. I've seen some new or unusual items there. Look in the glass case by the register. Upscale Resale is a fun place to bargain hunt. read more

Found a full size bed set that was POSTED: headboard, footboard, rails for $59.99. But upon examination the clerk(s) determined that the rails were for a larger bed and wouldn't let me have them even tho I had another bed at home that I could have switched the rails out for. There was no discounting the price either, even tho I wasn't getting all the pieces advertised for the prices. Not happy with the deal, so I won't be shopping there anymore.
