This was not true, and if it was, they should have pointed it out while I was there dropping them off. They visually inspected each watch and noted which one needed pressure testing but said nothing about damage (because there was not damage). The ring had the three stones set on top of the design and I wanted them channel set. I took it them and when I went in to pick it up, my amethyst was a light lilac color. I pointed it out and they told me it was dirty when I brought it in. I told them I knew my ring and if it had been dirty it would have been that way since it was given to me. They took it back to the jeweler and came back to tell me that they had several stones in the bench and just put the wrong one in mine. I came back a week later and picked up my ring. Unfortunately I never again wore it because I was afraid the diamond would fall out because it looked like it was barely in the setting. It was ugly and I was just not happy with it. Now, several years later I took it to The Jewelry Box. The gave me a quote and I left my ring. I came back and it was not quite right so the took it back. It took a long time to get it back, I think they ended up having it about 6 months. At first I was a little irritated but I knew it was going to take time, it needed lots of work. They ended up having to replace two stones because heat damages them, that made me sad but nothing I could do about it. I am just so happy with my ring. I put it on my finger that day and it has not been off. They completely redid my ring and it is beautiful!

Mexican-American with long straight hair. She didn't want to help customers it was very obvious. I don't know if she was new or is terrible at customer service etc. Not sure why she decided to work there. She only probably gets paid minimum wage anyways. Which I believe in Oregon is only $15 an hour. That is not my fault or my problem. I literally try to explain why I was returning the item. And the item was only $16. I told her I got the wrong color and wanted to see what they had an inventory. Just wanted to return the item. She had an attitude and rolled her eyes. And then she asked where the receipt was. I said hold on a second let me grab it. As soon as I gave it to her she rolled her eyes again and literally told me that she wanted to call up the manager. So I had to wait 10 minutes for manager to come up because she didn't want to do her job properly or be nice to customers. When the manager came up I explained everything to him. He acted like he didn't care either. I guess these people are brother and sister are dating or something. Total losers. This Ross used to have good management for over 15 years. I was actually personal friends with the previous manager of the store. That is why I decided to do this specific no preview today. I'm going to let my friend know that her store has turned to crap. I also told the manager guy or the man who claimed to be the manager of the store. That he should have a talk with his employees and review customer service etiquette. But he acted like he seriously did not care. And didn't believe me. Will not return to this Ross location. I have been shopping at Ross since 1992. And I may just switch it up and go to TJ Maxx or Burlington. Much rather give them my business. Because I'm sure they have better customer service and less lazy workers behind the counter.

I stopped by with my girlfriend to look at rings, and when we walked in, she did not feel comfortable and didn't want to stay. After I had exchanged a few words with the salesman, I too did not feel comfortable nor wish to continue the interaction. Another customer walked in, and after a brief moment, the salesman excused himself to go address the new customer. My girlfriend and I took that opportunity to gracefully exit and try to do so discreetly. This is when I realized we were locked in the store. The salesman had a key-fob that unlocked the door when a customer rang the doorbell, and in order to leave, he had to be the one to let you out. Unfortunately, I had to get the salesman's attention in order to leave. He asked if we were done talking with him, and after my "yes", he said, "well, before I let you out, do you want to come over here and get a business card?" Immediately, I felt trapped inside this store, wanting to leave gracefully and discreetly, but I couldn't. Let me be clear. I do not appreciate being locked in a store and not being able to protect my woman (even by simply leaving the building) when she feels uncomfortable or threatened. I have absolutely no intention of returning. I will add, before we went to this place, we went to Duffy's Jewelry, and had an absolute 10/10 great experience. They were very pleasant, professional, and extremely kind and knowledgeable.
