An expensive salon at a renown national beauty store almost destroyed my hair. I gave them the…read moreopportunity to fix it--twice. It still ended up looking like yellow cotton candy with dark roots. Most salons will offer to fix these hair color mishaps for free, and to their credit they did try. They even offered to fix it again--for the third time. Normally, free fixes are the most salons will offer. When I refused to have them work on my hair again, they actually refunded all my money because even they knew how awful it was. Recently I was in a store and admired the hair on one of the workers. Her hair color was vibrant and the highlights had dimension. She recommended Mary Lou at Hair Quarters, a salon in my own town. Mary Lou is knowledgeable and highly skilled. She knows that toner is not a substitute for proper hair color. This is important--some stylists over-rely on toner, which will fade in a couple of weeks. She was undaunted by the disaster she faced. The cut has great symmetry; the color and highlights are natural and flattering. You will recognize the difference in services here by the attention to detail that is often skimmed over by other salons. You don't need those places; you only need this one. Go.

My big issue was that I picked a polish and a regular pedicure and when I went to cash out, the woman at the front desk told me my total was $53 instead of the 38 that I was expecting because I picked "shiny polish." When I first went to her, the girl who did…read moremy hair prior to her gave me a perm. put me under a dryer for 45 mins, and virtually ruined my hair!!! I looked like Orphan Annie. My hair was like straw. Kelly cut, straightened and conditioned it, it was so soft when I left and I have been going back ever since. My hair is long, soft and Kelly is a pleasure to visit with when I am there, not only is she my hairdresser, she is someone that I call my friend. :)

Jennifer made my super nervous self feel excellent and carefree throughout my entire shoot. I am a very self conscious person and she made sure to work around my inhibitions and get the best shots. She took well over 200 pictures and made the reveal process so easy for me with her patience. My session came with hair and makeup however hair wasn't needed as it can only be styled one way and make up I can't stand but gave her make up artist a chance. While I didn't like the make up (which was most likely solely my opinion because I don't ever wear make up) Jennifer made sure to tone down the make up so I was able to enjoy the pictures she took without seeing the make up I disliked. All in all I found Jennifer and her studio experience to be nothing short of amazing and I will absolutely be returning to do another shoot with her soon. 10/10 recommend you do the same!!
