Had a facial today- totally not satisfy. Let me begin I got here 15 minutes early thinking I need to fill out some forms. But no the girl that did my facial ( I think it's the owners daughter ) gave me a weird look and said "you're early!" I said "that's fine I'll wait". Secondly, the facial is missing a few steps. (I'm an esthetician myself.) She did not message the neck and shoulder during the dis-incrustation. During the facial she left for a long period of time without saying anything and there was no hand or feet massage. Came out to pay from my phone the owner is rude! She constantly click on my phone n claimed that she clicked it once. No I saw she clicked it a few times and my phone said she already clicked with the date n time. Ive been going to Finally Kelly's for over 10 years now. When I first went to her, the girl who did my hair prior to her gave me a perm. put me under a dryer for 45 mins, and virtually ruined my hair!!! I looked like Orphan Annie. My hair was like straw. Kelly cut, straightened and conditioned it, it was so soft when I left and I have been going back ever since. My hair is long, soft and Kelly is a pleasure to visit with when I am there, not only is she my hairdresser, she is someone that I call my friend. :) read more

Went here for the first time today to get a facial. The second I walked in I got the vibe that customers were treated more like family here. It was homey yet classy. Kurstyn greeted me by name and after taking just a moment to get everything in order brought me back. It was a large, calming private room. The table was very comfy. Kurstyn was very sweet and easy to talk to. The facial including everything I could ask for, including a nice massage as well as extractions. The price was very fair. Everyone of the staff I ran into were pleasant and helpful. Would definitely recommend! read more

This happened back in 2013, but I recently told a friend about this awful rudeness I had to deal with here and she suggested I post a review. I went in for a haircut after letting it grow out for a couple years, and the owner Kelly immediately looked at my hair and said, "Kid, you need a good haircut." (I was 26 at the time-not a kid.) Then she started looking at my layers and saying, "What's this? What's this? Why is some hair shorter than others?" I didn't I think I would have to explain the concept of layers to a hairdresser. Anyway, so as she was washing my hair she asked what I do for a living, and I explained that I worked in a library, and she said, "Umm, are you kidding? A librarian is an old lady's job." She said this in a very rude tone, and I felt like I was dealing with a snobby teenager. At that point, I would have left, if it weren't for the fact that my hair had soap all over it and it was too late at that point. I stayed quiet as I was very uncomfortable and didn't know what to say. Then she asked what places I liked around Spencer since I was new to the area, and when I told her I liked The Black and White, she said, "What?! That's where all the rednecks hang out." I told her I don't judge people, I just like the food there. As if all of this ditsy, judgmental snobbiness weren't enough, as she finished rinsing my hair, she looked at my eyebrows and asked if I wanted to get my eyebrows waxed. This caught me off guard and I said no thanks, and she said sarcastically, "Are you SURE you don't want them waxed?" which is SO rude...I have dark hair and my eyebrows are thick, but I like them that way. I didn't appreciate that she was trying to sell her other services by attempting to make me feel bad about about myself. The haircut I got ended up being okay, but it was not exactly what I wanted. She started just doing her own thing with the bangs. It was her awful disgusting personality that made this the worst experience I have ever had with simply getting a haircut. I have no idea how this rude, empty-headed lady is in business- there are so many other genuinely nice, hardworking people out there who actually know how to give the haircut that the customer asked for- and they actually have the social skills to deal with customers. (Actually, I think I do know how she's in business- it was handed over to her from her mom. Barf.) read more

Finally Kelly's is by far the worst hair salon I've ever been to. I thought maybe Kelly was having a bad day so after a year I thought I'd give her another chance. Never again! This woman was rude the entire time I was there. I went in for a simple wash and blowout for a Christmas party. After washing my hair she used no product and no brush/comb to style my hair. She used her fingers and pushed my hair around as she blow dried my hair. When she was done my hair looked like I just walked out of a jungle. Wild! When I got home I had to go in the shower and wash and dry my hair so it looked nice for the party. No idea how this woman has any clients because of her horrible personality and attitude. read more

I scheduled an appointment to get a manicure prior to a wedding and was unable to make the appointment. I called and cancelled my appointment, no problem. 1 minute later I get a call back from Kelly herself, who is furiously and inappropriately yelling at me that I "can not cancel!!" and regarding the wedding emergency: "that's what they all say, there are no excuses!!!" and "I've had my manicurist waiting around for 2 hours JUST FOR YOU!" I tried to calmly explain and had to end the phone call before she was done telling me exactly how she felt about me cancelling. SO unprofessional. I was in shock. Never have I had an experience as awful as this. read more

So I had my first Finally Kelly's spa experience, and my only regret is that I wasn't able to allow enough time for all the amazing services they included in the spa package due to my own scheduling limitations. For the time I was able to spend however, I relished every moment of supreme pampering with one of the best massage/facial experiences of my life (I'm 50'ish), having been to many of the USA's top spas, including Canyon Ranch, La Costa, Le Pli, The Phoenician. Kurstyn (facial) and Laurie (massage therapist with Reiki training) are exquisitely gifted professionals - and the environment is lovely and serene. It was also nice to see a woman owned business (great job Kelly) that has THREE generations of talented women working together from the same family! Even if Spencer isn't in your backyard, it's probably closer than Canyon Ranch in the Berkshires, just as lovely and far more affordable. Worth the trip! read more

I got a facial. It was okay...No extractions, which is essentially the reason I go for facials. And they used tissues to blot my face. Tissue parts stuck to my face when she tried to pull it off. Gross. read more

I've gone here a handful of times. Always nice, friendly staff who actually remember you! Kelly does a great job cutting my "not so easy to cut" curly hair. I've had a massage here and the girl did a very nice job. Would be 5 stars except once I got my eyebrows done and they took a little too much off. But overall I really like this place and will keep going back. read more

I met Kelly yesterday for the first time. I had a full set of acrylics put on and had my eybrows waxed while I was there. She did a great job and my nails look so pretty. We had a nice conversation about kids and moving. There was a mistake with pricing on her website but she had no problem giving me it for the price that was stated. I look forward to my next appointment. read more

Never again! I recently went to Finally Kelly's for a walk in eyebrow wax. While in the chair the woman basically shamed me into getting my upper lip done as well. I have been getting my eyebrows done for years, and this was by far the worst they have ever looked after an appointment. She took about half of them off underneath leaving me with thin lines that might have been cool in the early 90s but are not at all the norm now. She did nothing above my brows (not that she left much left) or between my brow and my temple where I typically have hairs that definitely need to be removed. She did not do anything with tweezers after and there was no cooling gel or anything put on after so I was left with giant red welts. When I got back to my car to take a look (since they also didn't offer me a mirror or anything) I immediately noticed several large dark hairs that I ended up having to remove myself with tweezers. As for my lip, I might have been satisfied minus feeling like a monster at first if I didn't have a strip of wax left on my face and an additional clump in my hair that I spend 10 minutes trying to detangle. read more

one star is being nice i took my mother here for a perm she was there for hours also the lady doing her hair had a baby next to the perm she was applying and not only that but she frequently stopped to take care of the baby if you have ever had a perm you know there is no way a baby should be anywhere near the fumes coming off of it on top of that not only is there no curl to her hair but the ends are now in very bad condition my mother has has several perms in the past at other places and we have never had any problems when i called to tell them there was no curl they simply said her hair was to long and its not going to curl and never while i was there did they say anything about that before and they didn't mention that there was no curl before they styled it but they charged me for it...... my mothers has very fine hair and it doesn't even touch her shoulders read more
