They do a great job on nails however I was very surprised at my total. I came in for gel x refill and my nails were an oval shape and medium length. I was charged $5 extra due to the shape of my nails and $5 extra due to the length of my nails. This was on top of the $65 for the fill in. Nothing extra was done to the length or shape so I didn't understand why I was being charged extra. Then I was charged another amount for taking the gel off my feet. A couple came in and sat next to me and the receptionist asked the girl if she had started on me and she said "no, " the girl wouldn't make eye contact with me made a decision to go work on the couple instead of me even though she had technically already started on me and there were two women already over there working with the couple, I guess they looked like they had more money than me, they didn't have appointments because according to them they don't accept appointments, don't play in my face and expect my money, I went to a nearby salon and tipped generously. Every other time I have come it's been nice!! Today/Tonight is was the absolute worst. I came by at 2:30 and set appointment for 5:30, the receptionist said that they take the last appointments at 5:30. I was there at 5:20. I waited for over and hour in the pedicure chair before someone came and started on my nails. The tech started on my nails and abruptly left me sitting there. I saw the receptionist asking almost begging for someone to do my pedicure. I had to go to another salon that stayed open later... The receptionist said that the tech who started on my nails had a burn on her finger and it burst. I needed to wait. Why schedule me knowing you could not accommodate me. I will never return to salon and if I'm ever asked about I will not refer anyone as I work in the Battery in a Director role. Be more honest and transparent. Customer Service started off good. I know how I like my pedicures to look and I was not pleased with the slightly dismissive energy when it came to correcting the imperfections. I have no problem paying for any service that clearly states what the service is with prices to correlate accurately. I made an appointment on their website for 10am on a Thursday. I walked in right at 10am and checked in at the front desk, putting in what kind of manicure I wanted. I just wanted a normal manicure with a design for my wedding, which was in the next 2 days. The nail technician I had my appointment with wasn't in yet so I waited for about 30 minutes. After that I was told it would be another 20 minutes until my technician got there so I asked if anyone else could do my nails. Someone eventually did and as they were prepping my nails they cut my cuticle and it bled. She apologized and it didn't hurt so bad initially so I was fine with it. They then started applying the polish to the nail. Now, this is my first time getting a manicure so I was unaware of the different types of polish like the SNS which involves dipping the nails in powder. She started doing that to my nails and after the first few layers I asked if this is normal for the regular manicure. She was confused and said this was SNS. I explained that I had only wanted normal polish with a design and I had put normal manicure when I checked in at the beginning. Long story short they took the SNS off, which hurt like crazy since it involves dipping your hands in acetone for 10 minutes and I had this cut on my finger! 50 minutes later my original technician finally arrives and does my nails. She did a great job but the whole experience definitely wasn't worth it. They only offered me 10% off my order when we were done. I don't think I will be coming back here. read more

I am very discouraged to see how low the standards are for covid safety here. As I watched the store fill up with people clustered together to pick their color and being sat next to each other, I watched as 2 employees not wearing masks walking around with their personal drinks. They were given clients with out washing hands and then masked up. The most disappointing was when one employee took a moment from helping her client and went to the back mirror and cleaned her nose with out washing her hands grabbed another color from color wall and went right back to client. As I then started looking around the floor is covered in clipped nails and the chair bottoms had gobs of hair piling up. Pillows guests can use are kept on the floor in between the pedicure massage chairs and given to guests to relax. The employees picked them up and shook them off first! The table is not wiped after each client. My gel manicure turned out beautifully and honestly was the fastest I have ever had a manicure. Not so much a relaxing spa feel but a quick in and out nail salon. I wanted to share my feedback but was not asked about my service at check out. The salon is promoting paying with paypal, I was charged an extra 6% for using AMEX. Safety should not be something I have to ask for. read more

It resulted in my nails getting completely ripped off to the point where one was bleeding. After I started crying they said they wouldn't do it to the other hand. They said they would give me a 10% discount but since I only got one hand of tips I ended up paying for a full set and got HALF a set. 60 bucks for the worst and most painful manicure of my life. The location is pretty convenient if you're hanging out at The Battery or trying to figure out something to do before a Braves game. The facility seemed clean and well taken care of, and the hostess was very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately my technician was not so much. I understand there's a language barrier most of the times at nail salons, but it's pretty easy to infer from body language and general requests/questions from guests what is needed. I had to ask about 3 times for more pressure during the massage portion of my pedicure and manicure to make it feel like anything other than just rubbing lotion. I also repeated several times to her that I did not want my cuticles cut, only pushed back. She just didn't seem present during the session at all. I also had to call the hostess back to the table to translate that the clear coat I wanted applied was a base coat and not a top coat. She informed me that they mix top coat and base coat into one bottle and reuse it, but that just didn't make sense to me. She assured me that it was top coat, but my nails didn't have the usual gloss that comes from a top coat, so I just let it go. The hostess offered me a 10% discount because of my experience, which I appreciated. I may go back whenever I'm on that side of town, but I would definitely use a different technician. I don't remember her name (in part because she never introduced herself), but she was one of the older technicians. Hope this helps. read more

Today was my first time visiting this shop because my regular tech was feeling ill and she has been rushing my nails lately and goofing them up. SO, I visited Lush. First off, the shop itself is beautiful (and that's coming from a professional interior Designer). Clean, bright and spacious. Staff when I first called and subsequently walked in very very nice, and professional. I'd read reviews and wanted to originally meet with Tee or Sky (they got great reviews) but both were off that day. The person who answered the phone listened to my requests and matched me with April. April took her time, really listening to me and did a beautiful job fixing one and creating the nail art I requested. She confided in me that this was her second time doing a "marbled" nail art effect. Since I am not SUPER picky about my nails I WANTED her to go ahead and do it. You'll never learn if you don't DO the actual technique right. She conferred with another tech to get a few pointers and my nails turned out BEAUTIFULLY! She did a GREAT job. I am very sensitive about my cuticles and the diamond tool coming too close. She was very gentle and cognizant of that concern. It's been nearly three weeks and I need them filled in at the end of this third week. So I am going back to this shop and April. I appreciate the service, the cleanliness and the professionalism. 5-stars from this new customer. read more

My good friend and i went to lush on a slow Wednesday. It was very clean and they did a good job. They were quick and efficient and the result was very pretty. However, my friend asked for SNS and was charged for a full set. The price said 43 for SNS and we were charged an additional 25 for the "design" (see below). Overall service was great but the manager needs a bit of an attitude check and the prices leave something to be desired Edit: changing my review to 3 stars. I went in to get a new Gel-X set. The previous set I had on was from there and they were about 3 weeks old. No complaints on the previous nails, I was just ready for a fresh color. I checked in at the front desk, and the lady was very nice and they got me sat right away. As the nail tech started on drilling she said she could do a fill in on the Gel-X. I didn't know you could do that so I was willing to try it. She said it would take less time and be cheaper, all of which are good in my book. I was not given the option to look at the colors and she brought me a dark green, which is what I told her I wanted when she asked what color. The color looked fine in the bottle so we did a test (on top of the nail color I currently had) and proceeded. As she started reshaping my nails she was filling on one side super hard and my nail was very crooked. I asked her is she could straighten it and she attempted to but it still ended up crooked. We then went on to painting and the color they she brought over looked nothing like it did on the blank canvas of my nails as when she had swatched it. I told her I didn't like so she brought over another. And I didn't love that one either (I admit I was being really picky.) She finally brought over the color swatch book and only showed me the two she had picked out, insisting that the 2nd one was going to be the best and that it would get darker. So I let her proceed on with buffing out the rest of my nails in prep for the full paint. She was going so fast that she cut cuticle twice. And the was painting so fast that the color ended inconsistent in different areas. My nails are lumpy, crooked, and just over all not at all the hat I wanted. I know I could have voiced this in salon but I was so frustrated that I paid and left. My second experience here is definitely my last. read more

Looking for a new nail home and Babbyyyy ..... i love these nails ! Pros: The interior aesthetics of the nail salon is gorgeous and the service is superb!!!! I got SNS with a gel French tip and a pedicure with gel polish for $108.... Not bad. Let's hope the prices stay consistent. Cons: I waited 45 min before being serviced .I called before I came in, and was told there was no wait. I understand that's not something they can help but the fact that they don't take appointments on Fridays is a con for me.The guy who did my nails was nice but also didn't take criticism well. I know how I like my nails, i get the same style every time. When spending $100 there's a certain level of professionalism and skill I expect.... At the end of the day my nails came out flawless and I will be back. Next time I'll book with Hannah ! Update: 6/12 I came in today to get S&S with Gel French tip, and Gel toes with the French tip. Hannah was very nice and accommodating. Any suggestions or anything I notice she was more than willing to fix. I'm not sure if I found my nail home but I may be back to see Hannah on my nails and from what I can see T does a great pedicure. Pro: I missed my 10 AM appointment and came in a little late for my 1 PM appointment, the salon was very accommodating.Hannah was very sweet. She had a great conversation and got the job done. Con: Unfortunately my toes and my nails did not last from my service before. My toenail broke which may have been my fault but typically I don't have that problem. Also the gel tip on my SNS nails chipped...Which I absolutely never have that problem since my nails are so short. When I get my nails and toes done taking typically last a whole month with out shipping or the polish fading. I'll get mine done every two weeks however I have had to stretch it before..Also the last time I was serviced I paid $105, this time with taxes it came out to $118.
