Was asked if I would like a procedure rather than why my body might need it. The front desk ladies are nice on the phone but while sitting waiting for the nurse to come in the room, you can hear everyone talking so poorly about the customers that were calling in. I don't feel like I trust that this place is looking out for the best of their clients, I am really considering finding another GI because of how much this experience shook my anxiety up.

First off my appointment location was changed last minute the afternoon before my procedure resulting in a much further drive than planned. The procedure appointment itself felt very rushed and I felt rushed out of recovery before I was ready. I've had a colonoscopy before with no pain afterward and with this procedure I had significant pain afterward. Note there was no follow up from the office to see how I was or any show of care whatsoever during my procedure. As I was being wheeled back for my procedure, I literally saw the Dr and her staff in a room looking to be laughing and eating, not professional at all and very scary to see as you're being wheeled in for a procedure. I was in for a serious procedure that was scary for me and I would say this DR and this office handled my appointment like I was in for a facial. It really was scary the lack of compassion exhibited from this Dr and the lack of professionalism I saw during the day of my procedure. Literally just felt like a $ sign. Choose another office if you need to have these procedures. On the billing front I have paid them $1000 and my health insurance has conveyed I should have only paid $650 after all claims were filed with them. Note that the number of claims they have filed for my two procedures is outrageous and being someone who working in health insurance for over 20 years looks purposely fraudulent. I will be reaching out to work through these issues with their billing office and filing a formal complaint if I cannot understand what I have been charged and paid to date.

What a great staff. Never like getting these anyway but they made me feel comfortable and at home and I was able to cut up with them a bit as a prep me for the procedure well keeping the office safe during the pandemic with limited patients having exposure around each other. Arrived an hour early and filled out the paperwork I got called in a little early to meet with the anesthesiologist and will review the protocols and procedures. Excellent staff made me feel comfortable and I never was excited or stressed but what was about to come. I always love it when the anesthesiologist says you can count back from 100 and you really don't even make 99 so I was happy to wake up after the procedure only taking 20 minutes to complete and another 15 minutes for the anesthesia to wear off so I could leave. My son waited in the car as all other drivers or people waiting were forced to do to keep the lobby area clear of crowds. We were right next to Zaxby's so he simply grabbed a bite to eat waited in the car and I was out in short time and on the way home. I had no uncomfortable experiences and waited in till the next day to eat a pretty good meal because I was starving! I haven't got the bill yet but regardless this was a great staff great location very clean very happy with their service. Highly recommend!

My oldest grandson was running a fever and had several other complaints. After a thorough examination, Dr.Edwards concluded that nothing serious was going on and he should be better in a couple of days. I'm sure our group made an unusual sight. Grandpa, daughter, and three grandchildren all packed in a small examination room. Even so, we were all treated professionally and kindly.
