Wow- what nice, quiet break from Austin…read more Anna really created a magical, peaceful retreat with everything we could ask for. We had a family reunion there this weekend- what a beautiful home to reconnect in. I loved the big, open kitchen/living room were everyone could be in the same room but doing different things- we had board games going on, cooking, and people catching & relaxing by the warm fireplace all in the same main downstairs room. Oh, and the views!! So calming, especially the fog coming through in the early morning. Really enjoyed the porch as well and walking around the property to watch a stunning sunset. As a bonus, the house was in perfect condition, complete even with gorgeous locally sourced wood features, organic soaps and high quality shampoos, etc. The kitchen was also stocked with basics and more (tea, wine, etc). Definitely look at a map before you head out b/c if you have T-mobile or Verizon, cell coverage eventually is lost. It's easy to find if you know what you're looking for. Highly highly recommend staying here for some time to wind down and breathe- definitely wish we could have stayed longer!! This was an incredible experience. 110% recommend must do bucket list adventure in Austin…read more I was met by Chris, the owner and pilot of the AAC at the Signature Flight Services building in a golf cart which took us directly to his hangar. Chris gave me a safety brief on how to get in an out of the airplane, which made me feel safe excited to fly. The tour itself was breathtaking. We flew over Downtown Austin, Penny Backer bridge, the Texas State Capital building, Mt. Bonnel, and seeing these parts of Austin from above was incredible. I was very impressed by Chris's professionalism, knowledge about the area and landmarks we flew over, as well as the experience of flying in a beautiful airplane. Chris is a US Army Veterans and supports fellow veterans and his community with his business, and I could not recommend a better experience in town. Worth every penny, will fly again!

At first I was thrilled with the place. I was consulting with a tech company in the area and they…read morepointed me in the direction of Lake Falling Star. The owner, Kelly, got me set up and helped me get pulled in. I thought that was very nice. That evening Kelly walked by and saw me brushing my dog and commented that she didn't realize how big he was and I told her not to worry he'd lick someone to death before he'd hurt them and she huffed and just walked off muttering something about borrowing trouble while her unleashed dog pitched a fit. I couldn't even sit with a show trained retriever but her shepherd had the run of the place all day and night. A couple days later she came by and complained about the way I was parked. I mean she guided me in there, was she forgetting things? I even began to wonder if she was the same person that checked me in at that point. After that it was something every day. power cable on grass, water leaking , it was the A/C drainage. If she saw me I got a good chewing on about something else every time. it was always something that should not have even caused a concern but bothered her. Finally, I was sitting on my patio when a deputy pulled up with her following behind in a cart. She said she wanted to look in my trailer with the deputy. i declined as I had no idea what this was about. When I declined the deputy handed me a notice of eviction. He then informed me I had 24 hours to leave. I still did not know what I did. So, I handed the eviction back and said I refused the method of delivery, but would be gone in the morning. And just like that, I met another disturbed person in my life's journey. I never found out what she thought I was doing. I wasn't even sure if I had ever done anything questionable in that trailer.--NO... I was busy all the time with work and pretty much just came home, walked the dog and had a couple drinks before going to bed there at night. Strange! Of course I would never go back even if it has been a few years. Beware, not all is as it appears at that park. I have heard a lot of stories since sharing mine. Some are downright bizarre.
