I spent this past weekend here for my birthday with my girlfriend, and we could not have been more…read morehappier with our stay. The staff Amy, Ronnie, Paul, Chef Dustin and the few others whose names I didn't get were awesome, they were extremely helpful and hospitable. The ranch is aimed at hunters, but is also multi-use for weddings, conferences, family reunions and such. Even for just a weekend getaway, or during the week getaway the 4-D Guest Ranch is awesome. What is so awesome about this place is that they have many exotic species of animals on the land, and for someone like me who enjoys taking photographs it was a pretty sweet experience. Paul and Ronnie took me out to go shoot some pictures on two separate occasions and we spent a couple of hours just driving and looking at all the different animals, some that are native to Africa! I got a lot of great shots and was very happy with how nice and informative they were. Last but certainly not least is the food, it was extremely delicious. Chef Dustin, who I found out is only about three weeks in at the ranch, cooks up some amazing food. He, and Paul and Ronnie who took care of the breakfast I believe, catered to some dietary restrictions we had without hesitation. I will definitely be staying here again, 5 star experience all around and the price wasn't bad at all either. If I had to constructively criticize something it would be the website, it just needs to be a little more informative IMO, would like to see rates, activities, and more photos (I'll add a few on here).

I was very impressed with Monica and how she took such great care of us, she is a star , not only with the treehouse but at 71 she walked the Camino Real in Spain over 300 miles ! If you have the opportunity to stay here it's not just a recommendation it's a must

I moved here in May of 2023 and the problems started. The asphalt pads were terrible and cracking…read moredue to being installed incorrectly, so i wasn't able to ever keep my trailer level. The wifi was ifie at best, the water was shut off it felt like every other week for hours at a time and we would be told that it was the water company, but it wasn't always. The plumbing in the park wasn't installed correctly and so they had a ton of breaks. Marybell was the biggest issue and a terrible person to have to deal with. Kathy wasn't any better as a manager and I'm saying that the nicest way possible. The electric was priced way to high per kwt at .14 cents, only so the park could make money off of us, when they already were with our high rent. PEC only charges .10 cents a kwt, so they were way overpriced. The office would be closed for days at a time when Marybell would go out of town and Jennie, who only worked weekends and was amazing wouldn't be asked to work. The washers and dryers weren't maintained and were always broken, as was the coin machine. They didn't have ice most times and they advertised propane, and yet had no one to sell it. Marybell lived rent/electric free, as would her friends, but everyone else had to toe the line. When I left in August of 2024, I barely got my deposit back because Marybell hadn't read the meters right. Jennie was the best person in the office and should get a raise or promotion or both. If Kathy and Marybell were no longer there, I would move back in a heartbeat. I loved the location and Jennie.

They put me in an RV with 80% full propane tanks, no working fridge the whole 6 weeks and never fixed anything. Also late and short paid me for my "management training" there. 3. There are 4 gold colored cows that live better than Trump there. they have 40ish acres of pasture, a 24 7 flow through water trough. One "staff" member just "keeps the cows" leaves his brand new artic cat out in the rain etc. The mangager conned me out of 65 dollars but I paid her based on her word. They are just liars on a power trip there. DO NOT patronize this place with their overpriced sites. And definitley do not send any Godly good friends or family of yours there to "work" for anyting other than free rent. Luckily I was able to love the meanies anyway. I bless that whole park with the Lords mighty and loving hand. Amen. I have proof pics and receipts.

This wonderful little gem of a B&B nestled in the middle of sleepy little Luling is where we go to…read morerecharge not far from home, but far enough away to disconnect from our normal lives completely. We also go to Luling for sky activities, like hang gliding and skydiving, so it's nice to have a nice place to stay when we go. This place personifies excellent customer service, from beginning to end. For this stay, which was a birthday surprise for my partner, I had emailed for information to find the room with the biggest tub so he could have nice soaking baths, and they didn't just send the info, they sent along pictures to help me choose. Every room has a fridge, microwave, and a Keurig machine, although you have all of that available in the dining room as well. There is a giant grand piano you can play, and lots of lovely places to sit and relax.Every room (upstairs and down) has porch access, with rocking chairs and porch swings. And there are even road bikes you can borrow! Upon arrival, we were greeted like long-lost relatives, with homemade blondies and dipped berries waiting in our room. We were given a tour, and then Jessica dashed off to get us some ice at the market, so we could have some in our bourbon. The dining area has available at all times homemade goodies, juice, water, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, and popcorn. You are NOT going to go hungry. And the breakfasts are to DIE for - so delicious! Terry, the owner, often comes and joins, and he and Jessica are delightful company. The rooms are huge, and decorated whimsically. Miss Annie's room even has a red silky robe for the ladies, because apparently Miss Annie used to garden in her red robe (ooh, la la!). The beds are very comfy, and there are easily 20 pillows with which to make yourself a nest - or perhaps a pillow fort. We also really enjoy sitting on the porch swings and having a cocktail or beer, just chilling. It's restful, it's delightful. This trip, on our departure Jessica remembered me telling her that I love urban foraging, and will make use of any leftover fruits and veggies people have, so she packed me a back of veggies from her garden, along with some more blondies for the road. She also packed up some snacks for us the previous day when we were heading out to spend the day waiting to jump out of a plane. Everything about this place is completely delightful. The service, the company, the atmosphere, the food, everything. I cannot possibly recommend it highly enough. As others have noted, yes, there are train tracks nearby, and you can hear the trains going by. If that's a problem, I'd suggest earplugs. For me, it's reminiscent of my childhood, so I don't mind. If you want to be pampered and enjoy a lovely environment for a weekend away, I can't recommend this highly enough. Stop in Lockhart on the way for some delicious BBQ. Luling has some BBQ also, if you don't feel like stopping. Make sure the check out the Farmer's Market too!
