Great experience, yesterday Easter Sunday late afternoon, store was just closed. Richard was standing outside (never been there before) but wanted desperately to get cleaned up, complete head shave as a tribute to a friend with cancer and going through Kemo. I didn't tell him that, however he quickly unlocked the door and took care of me - shaved the head, face, trimmed eyebrows. I couldn't be more satisfied. Highly recommend!!!!! Sundays are my only day off and the day I get my head shaved and beard lined up. I called 40 minutes ahead to schedule a appointment and the barber said there was no need to make an appointment because there was no one waiting for a cut. When I get there there was 4 people waiting for a cut. I told the barber I was the one that called for a haircut and he said he will take care of it but I had to wait almost two hours for a cut. Very unprofessional. Should have scheduled an appointment so I could run other errands instead of having to wait in the shop for a cut. Should have accommodated me because he acknowledged he told me there was no need for an appointment instead of making me wait. I went in with zero knowledge of this place and their poor reviews. I wish I had known, I would've been able to avoid one of the most embarrassing experiences in my adult life. I feel like this review will be long but I encourage everyone interested in their services to read this in it's entirety first. This place is not for those who don't like confrontation lol. I popped in while running errands for a quick fade and line up, I wish I could tell you who's chair I was in but the guy barely introduced himself to me. Instead he rushed me into his chair & told me to take off my cap. When I took off my beanie both barbers broke out into hysterical laughter. Now I have curly hair so I know it can get a bit unruly under a cap but I think the reaction I got was incredibly unprofessional. I've had plenty of haircuts and even though I'm heavyset I've NEVER had an issue with putting the cape around my neck. Tell me why this guy barely goes to button the cape around my neck and goes "well is this gonna fit you?" Who the fuck says that to a paying customer?! I took my phone out to show the barber inspiration pictures, during my visit I didn't know the proper terminology of what I wanted and it was pretty obvious but instead of taking the time to understand what I wanted and working with me, the barber I had told me that based on the inspiration photo, my hair would never look like the pictures unless I relaxed my hair. Even though I tried explaining that I wanted the shape, not the style he had a rebuttal for everything I said and ultimately cut me short and said "I got u", turned my chair around and started cutting my hair. He started off by trying to fix the top of my hair that got messed up with a prior stylist. He ended up cutting it so weird that I just told him to shave it off. Already bummed about losing the length on the top of my head, I told him to go ahead and move on to the lineup. He messed that up too. He absolutely annihilated the back of my neck and left my sideburns crooked. After paying, on my way out the guy had the audacity to say "good luck!" I ended up finding a master barber that was able to fix this guy's mistakes, educate me on the proper terminology, he could not believe the bs this guy said to me AND he told me that the style I originally wanted was incredibly easy to achieve with the hairstyle I HAD when I went into this shop this morning. Overall, I deeply regret not walking out of this shop the moment they laughed at my hair. It would've saved me money and I could've avoided all of the embarrassment this visit entailed. read more

Absolutely the worst barbershop I've been too. Place is ghetto to say the least it looks like there is either going to be a drive bye or a large drug deal going down. Barbers are unkempt, shady looking and wear due rags and fake chains. Music is loud, obnoxious and trash. The shop itself is gross and dirty, there is no host or appointment person to put you in a seat it's a free for all to get a cut and myself waited 20 minutes without anything and just left. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere but here, you maybe better off letting your lawn mower go to work on your dome. Save your money on ghetto town I mean uptown barber shop. read more

Great haircuts every time. Unfortunately, appointments are not kept. Today was the second time I had an appointment that the barber didn't show up for. I had walk-ins getting cut and I'm sitting there waiting on my guy. I gave the barber 20 minutes after the set appointment time. After he still hadn't shown up, I finally just walked out. I have been going to this barbershop a little over six years since I left the military. I must say that these barbers make sure that you are taken care even if you have an appointment or a walk in. I want to give a special thanks to my barber Pino who always have me on point. And Ben who is very humble and will go out of his way to take care of you. Screw this place never going back there again. No acknowledgement from any of the barbers at all, they didn't even ask me or my husband if we had made an appointment or if we minded waiting. Stayed there for 35 minutes and all we got where looks not one word meanwhile people kept coming in and out and we weren't even given a second thought. Unless you personally know the barbers I suggest to stay clear of this hell hole. Not worth the time or wait! If I could give this place zero stars I would!! read more

Got a horrible haircut. Asked for the barber to only trim the top part and he ended up chopping off most of my hair and left it uneven. When I told the barber it was too short he simply ignored me and told me it needed to be shorter. I'll be wearing a hat for the next month or so. Would not recommend this shop. read more

This dump needs to be over on seacrest blvd next to a liquor store or something. I met the owner Kiko of uptown barbershop in 2008 while driving home from Boca to West Palm Beach he was working in Delray at a barbershop from there he moved to another barbershop I followed him because his great workmanship,its a little difficult to cut my hair the way I like it. he open his own shop in Boynton in 2010 I have been a loyal customer,bring my grandkids there and enjoy the atmosphere.in his absence I allow Vic to cut my hair also.thank you for your dedication Service and allowing me to take a nap in your chair. thank you read more

I brought my son in for his first haircut. I walked in everyone in the barbershop just stared at me including the barbers. We sat there for about 20 minutes, not even one person acknowledge me or ask me did I make an appointment. Everyone else that walked in after me got acknowledge and asked did they make an appointment. A barber that go's by the name of G or Joe finish cutting someone's hair. He just sat down in his chair . I had to ask him can he cut my sons hair, the expression on his face just letting me know he did not want to cut his hair. He cut my son's hair I said thank you and paid him. I got to the car and went to take a picture of my son's first haircut . I instantly realized his tape was crooked I walked back in and ask him can he please fix his tape. He asked me in a very sarcastic way is my son going to sit this time everyone just stared . I was shocked because my 2 year old son did not move when he was giving him his tape. He didn't even want to take responsibility for messing up his tape! Based on my first and last experience I will never return! I believe that everyone should get treated fairly regardless of race or gender!!!! read more
