Man...where do I begin? If I could give this place zero stars would have. I called and asked to bring clothes in to just donate, didn't want anything for them. They all still have tags on them and they're name brand clothes like Levi jeans, polo tees, Nike, etc...I specifically let them know that I would bring them in when I get off work at 5:00pm they said it was fine, I got there at 5:17pm and they refused to even look at the clothes. Do they choose when they want to work and not want to work? I had about 30 plus minutes before they closed....that's ridiculous such a waste of time. Instead donated them to a homeless shelter because clearly it's more appreciated there. The dude that helped me said his name was Preston. Judging based off his bloodshot/glossy low eyes and lazy demeanor I would say he's been smoking all day but that's besides the point. Be better, do better no excuse to refuse free clothes and waste my time cuz you're high on the job clown. I was giving them out for free regardless. More upset because y'all have s** employees who like to be high on the job and waste people's time. read more

Love that all staff cheerfully greeted! All were wearing masks which means they value safety. Their prices were amazing, their merch was diverse and represented name brands as well as independent lines, the store was well organized and clean. Even the shoes and bags were in good to excellent condition. I will end this with another customer service note: The young lady who rang up my items noticed that my husband I used different phone numbers when we each made a purchase, so she asked her manager if we could combine our reward points. No problem! Manager combined our rewards under one account and we walked away with some savings! Attention to detail and having a good attitude is a must in customer service and they were on it! ( By the way, I never write reviews and compliments from me are like Big Foot sightings) All in all, awesome first time customer experience. read more

Love this place! Selling clothes there is a breeze: the staff is super friendly and helpful, they actually pay you a decent amount for gently used clothes (unlike other stores that do resale that pay SQUAT) And then on the shopping side of things.... they have literally everything! They carry all the brands and everything is in really good condition as well as decently priced. P.s. I honestly think they have the best selection of shoes/sneakers over any other store in Arizona that I've been to. I just bought myself a pair of platform high top chucks that I'm obsessed with and they look brand freaking new... I paid 29 bucks for them . So dope. Uptown Cheapskate is my go to place when I want to surprise my wife with a new purse from her favorite designer. The friendly staff have helped me many times select the perfect purse that wins me Brownie Points at home. They ALWAYS carry the Kate Spade brand my wife loves and many to choose from. At first I thought this was a store just for ladies, but they do carry men's clothing and shoes which is another plus for this store because our 3 boys always find Under Armour and Nike which saves me time and money! My only one suggestion would be to have gift bags with all that crazy tissue (that ladies love when receiving gifts) on hand for us men who are on the go and don't think about the details of gift giving. ;) read more

I once was department store shopper.... One day my best friend reminded me about Uptown... and I remembered the last time I was in was about 10 years ago. Well the day my best friend and I went which was about 8 - 10 months ago.... I was blown away! From the display, cleanliness, the customer service and of course their selection of amazing pieces. LOL I am inside their store literally EVERY Saturday!! and I ALWAYS walk out with beautiful pieces- Free People, Vince... i always come home with beautiful items to wear for work, vacation, or date night! Cool place ! I didn't know this place was in the area they have a lot of clothes but mostly woman's but the amount of men's clothes is nice everything was priced nicely and even tho they didn't buy my stuff they still explained nicely why and I understood. A lot of people have to realize business sometimes have a more specific clientele and need to make money as well ... besides that I'll definitely recommend this place to others and will return thank you. read more

If I could give this store a 0 star review I would. I've been into there "new and improved" store a couple times to sell items and every time I go in I get dirty ass looks from the girls behind the counter. They don't buy anything I'm trying to sell which is fine but majority of what I'm selling to them is way better stuff then what they have on the racks. Anyways go to platos closet to sell and buy gently used clothes because this place sucks. read more

This is the best resale store out there! I gotta say, they pay way much cash than Plato's. Their selection of product is always on point too! All the product is current styles and colors, which is great when shopping for fashion on a budget. They employees to, are so nice. First time experience was 5 stars, even though I only got 12.00 (because I was donating mostly outdated clothing that my mom couldn't use anymore) the staff was super helpful and friendly and reassured me that the stuff they could not resell was going to a charitable organization! I went to uptown for my first time, in need of some tops for a vacation. Boy did I find some +. Everyone was very friendly and helpful as well! There are many selections for everyone, all though, keep in mind what you're looking for may not be there. This store keeps everything by size and color, which makes a lot easier to look for. I love shopping and selling clothes at this location. The prices are fair and reasonable, I found and brand new pair of pacsun jeans for $17.99. They were on sale for an additional 40% so I paid $10. The store was clean and the employees were happy and welcoming. I've sold clothes here before and the amount I get for the clothes they buying is reasonable. read more

This place is great. They have very affordable, fashion-forward items. It is conveniently nearby where I work. They typically have new merchandise every time I come in. They have changing rooms and many,many, sale/discount items. Hadida (sorry if it's misspelled) is my go-to fashion expert. She is very kind, gentle, and respectful. I love the vibes. read more

I was greeted when I walked in as most stores I do not get noticed. I found a few blouses & sweater for myself & my daughter. My arm was full and one of the clerks came at me with a giant tub basket for my items. I was so thankful. I was treated kind and I will go back every pay check. lots more to buy and very affordable. I was looking for boots for my daughter and as soon as I walked in they greeted me and asked what I was looking for and within a couple minutes we had several options brought to us and my daughter was able to pick out the ones she liked most. My daughter and I love this store. We shop after trading clothing in for store credit. Uptown is definitely geared toward the teen-30 demographic but at 42 I can still find cute, age-appropriate clothing. I appreciate the always-friendly staff and the clean, well-organized racks. read more
