It's a small friendly pharmacy, the likes you haven't seen in 20 years! So nice and very helpful. They were able to supply me with my blood pressure medicine that was out of stock at all the big pharmacies int he area. I would also recommend them if you do not have insurance or have a very high deductible as they are willing to offer discounts if you don't have insurance.

From what I can tell, they are selective in who they encourage to use and keep using them by prioritizing keeping "their customers' '" medications in stock, reducing their wait times as much as possible, have conversations about patient health, etc. They seem to (probably informally) favor certain local prescribers who I'm assuming they maintain relationships with, and who send in prescriptions for patients on a consistent, predictable regimen. It can seem strange or even unfair for a pharmacy to seemingly give precedence to some customers and not others if you've only ever used a corporate "big box" (CVS/Walgreens) style of pharmacy. But I think most if not all the success of the typical modern "mom and pop" American pharmacy can be attributed to some version of this strategy. Their focus seems to be retention of their loyal, predictable customer base, and the network of providers/doctors they trust. Once you've built up enough longevity for them to see you as "their customer", and especially if you're someone who relies on your maintenance meds getting filled on time - you'll really be glad you have them as your pharmacy. Especially during worsening supply shortages, when a sudden mass layoff means you lose your health insurance, or the sticker price of your lifesaving medication suddenly skyrockets (and all the other crises we face as the sad reality in modern American life). Anyone relying on their meds to live and/or function will appreciate getting in with a pharmacy that has your back because (with few exceptions) CVS honestly doesn't.

I called before making the trip and they confirmed they indeed had everything in stock. I arrived to find shelves that were mostly empty and outrageous pricing. I asked for masks and was told a packet of disposable masks were $75. Hand sanitizer was $5 and 5 for $20. I have posted a pic of the 2oz of generic hand sanitizer they are selling. What they are doing is abusive and is the very definition of price gauging. Please do not go to them they are not about their customers. They are taking advantage of people like myself in desperate times.

I worked with them for years managing my mom's medications, and Sabrina consistently went above and beyond. She provided incredibly personalized service and would even call me to double-check medication changes and make sure everything was correct. For anyone helping a loved one who has difficulty managing or consistently taking medications, I highly recommend asking about the medication-packaging service offered by the Apothecary. It was truly a game-changer for my mom and made managing her medications so much easier and safer. Their friendly home-delivery service was another wonderful benefit and just one more example of the exceptional care this team provides. A hidden gem of a pharmacy…read more While we were visiting, my kids came down with strep throat. Because they're kids, they can't take adult antibiotics. However, there was a country-wide shortage of children antibiotics going on. Agh! We called EVERYWHERE. CVS. Walgreens. Publix. You name it. We tried it. And then someone recommended John's Pharmacy. Low and behold, they had it. We rushed over there with our prescription in hand. The pharmacist was understanding and quickly filled our prescription so we weren't waiting. (If you have two children with strep throat, even five minutes of waiting can feel like an eternity.) Thanks, John's Pharmacy.

Be very careful with your compounded medicines. I picked up one that was so thick I could not use…read moreit. It was like Jello. They did replace it but I wish it was made right in the first place. They told me I did not need to refrigerate one of the compounded meds so I did not. I JUST FOUND MOLD ON THE CAP. GROSS!! Last month they told me to double a dose on one Med. I figured maybe it was right since I had just been to the vet. The next month it was back to normal. THEY MADE A MISTAKE!!! THEY HAD ME DOUBLE DOSING MY HEART PATIENT FOR FOR A MONTH. I am lucky he did not get really sick from it. The poor thing was a nervous reck from the over dose all month. I thought he was sick and wasted money on a vet visit.

I administered the medicine and she immediately vomited it up. Tried again and the same thing happened. Put it in her food too!! Will not eat her food! I went back explaining and they just said we can add a little more chicken flavor! That did not work! They were not sorry at all charging me $89.00. For about 2 ounces of the medicine!! How can people run a business without compassion! I will NEVER do business with people who sell a medicine that they know the animal will not take it! I usually find people in Naples very understanding but but they are certainly not one of them! It's all about the money!
