EXTREMELY bad service! The guy sitting in the front by the door has a very bad attitude. The shop was packed, however, I came in just to have my nails removed and be placed my hand in a bag with acetone and cotton swabs and left me sitting. He never answered my question of how long or if it was an inconvenience. After 30 minutes of waiting with the same hand still in this bag, I asked him again how long? He proceeds to removing the bag and throwing it away - saying you can go. I let him know he never answered my question of how long; he then finally says, "there are 2 others in front of you, I don't know." Very unprofessional and unnecessary time wasted. Do not spend your money here. This was uncalled for with his demeanor and attitude. I want to start by saying I have done here for almost 20 yrs for pedicures-no problems! I recently got get nails while out of town so I go here to get them done again and the lady told me I should try SNS and I would like it better. now this lady has done my pedicures before and she even said she recognized me. So I pick a lighter color because my job doesn't allow white or bright. After she has dipped one hand 3 times I ask is that the powder or color? She tells me the color. They were white! I even compared to sample nail. I said oh no I am sorry I can't work with these and any way she could take them off (only dipped one hand-had not put clear polish on or put it under lamp. She was slightly rude saying "i did it 3 times, If I take it off do you want gel so if you don't like this color I can wipe it off" I was kinda shocked! Then the owner or manager was behind me and let out the biggest huff and had a face of disgust! so I turned around and said did you just huff? that is incredibly rude and unprofessional, I said I can leave if you want me to because I will never be back here. He proceeds to say no and tell me to pick another color. I didn't speak the rest of the time. He came over when she was almost done and said look they are pretty. As a walk in they will tell you that they can accommodate you, they will say pick out a color a place you in a chair. However then you wait a loooong time. This has happened to me twice when I have walked in and said do you have availability for sns and pedicure. They won't ever say no because they're afraid to loose the business but in reality just say your busy. I'll go run other errands and come back at the time you can fit me in. I can not say enough good things about this place. My gf and I made an appointment (I'm glad, it was busy as soon as the doors opened) and we got right in. They had a huge staff tho so not too many walk ins actually had to wait. We were greeted and seated right away. My friend got a pedicure and said the gentleman she had did great. It cost her 25. For my service the original young girl I sat with wasn't too sure about the style I wanted so another tech sat down. Which is fine. I would rather have someone confident. I got sns manicure with tips and I wanted them shaped the ballerina style. I could tell this wasn't a common style that many people request but the woman (I didn't catch her name) did a fantastic and thorough job. Some small talk, friendly but not overly annoying. They're extremely busy so expect this to be a day long event, HOWEVER they are extremely good at their job. Not one is better than the other. When I get a pedicure here, I actually get my legs massaged extremely hard (which I enjoy and specifically ask for) and every time they do a wonderful job! I have been most places and they just rub lotion on my leg, it's never an actual massage as it should be. I get the most expensive pedicure (I think it's $45) and it's worth every penny. I have never gotten my nails done here before just my toes. Was expecting a really great manicure based on reviews and also a friend's personal experiences. Sadly, that's not what I got. I decided to treat myself and splurge for SNS to prep for my friend's wedding. Despite being one of the first people in, I didn't leave for over TWO HOURS, which included soaking my hands in ziplock bags filled with acetone for an hour to remove my old polish. Sure, maybe for a good manicure it would have been worth it. Less than 5 days later, huge chunks of SNS chipped and ripped off my nails. I honestly think the place looks really nice. I enjoyed the decorations and cleanliness of the salon. I did not enjoy having to wait to be seated after having scheduled an appointment. I truly can not understand why salons say they have to drill your nails. I have explained that it's painful and unpleasant, but they insist it has to be done. I literally got my nails done October 22nd and now barely over a week later an entire nail falls off and another chips. I have reflected on this experience for two weeks before posting as I do not like to post reviews that reflect so poorly on an establishment unless I have had a really poor experience. I found this salon on yelp and visited because of the good reviews, unfortunately my experience was not reflected by the 4.5 start rating. 1. I asked for a delux manicure which is more expensive and historically included hand wax, hand and forearm scrub and a lotion massage in addition to a regular manicure. I could tell my tech wanted to get to an sns customer and was rushing me. Without even asking she just put a collagen foot sock on my hand for approximately 20 seconds and painted my nails. She rushed me out of the chair and put me upfront and came back to put a top coat on after she had started on her other customer - not relaxing or professional to say the least. When I politely contested my bill given I only received a fraction of what I paid for the cashier argued that the collagen treatment cost the same as the delux so I still owed the same amount. I DIDNT CONSENT to this treatment, what if I were allergic!?! She literally just put it on me. It was deceptive to do this so that they could charge me the same. I could tell the tech did not want to take the time to do the wax, BECAUSE SHE TOLD ME SO as she was complaining about it in the beginning as she was trying to talk me into SNS. 2. The cashier told me that the reason the delux manicure did not include all the the services it usually includes is because of COVID.... THEN DONT OFFER THE DELUX SERVICE! They essentially said they were only offering the services for a regular manicure, but had no problem letting people request the delux and charge them for it. This just seems to be dishonest and lacking in integrity. Not to mention the place was packed and had someone in every chair, including the ones upfront waiting on services - not very covid friendly so makes me feel they use the COVID excuse when it's convenient and when it can benefit them. 3. This should probably be number one, but the nail technicians for both my mom and I went between customers without washing their hands in between. This was appalling. You don't do this in regular times, but certainly not during a pandemic and when you are charging patrons for abbreviated services and trying to justify it with "because of COVID". All in all my bill for my mom and I was over 150 including tip for a delux manicure and delux pedi. The pedi was fine hence the two stars rather than one. We are resonanle people and all we asked for was to pay for the regular manicure rather than the delux (ie pay for what we actually received). We would have been placated honestly. However the staff here were not receptive at all and just provided shallow arguments. It felt so irresponsible, dishonest and unprofessional. read more

Be warned, people with soft nails like me, they use the electric nail file on your nails in order to do SNS... I don't know if that's a universal practice. the lady was pushing some length on my two sad little broken nails on my other hand, but i denied because i didn't want to pay for that, i'm fine with my silly tiny nails. My first time here. Wonderful service. I arrived at 9:45 for a 10 am appointment. The hours of operations posted are10 am to 7 pm. Redardless, Jim was there and welcomed me even though I was early. Got me all set up for my pedicure and when Tina arrived she did the pedicure. It was wonderful and very reasonable. After the pedicure, I decided to get a SNS manicure which was a new type for me. Again, Tina, did a very professional job and it even included a shoulder massage. When I first read the reviews on Yelp I saw that the most recent ones gave the shop a very good review while the older ones (one year or more) gave poor ones. Found out the reason is because the shop changed management about 6 months ago. From comparing the reviews and actually using the shop, I can tell there is a world of difference. My suggestion is that if you had been disappointed with the shop and its service, try them again. I think you'll be pleased. read more

A gel mani is $25 and they did a great job on me. I was impressed by their color selection. First time trying this nail salon. Went on a Saturday around 1:00, so very busy. They had a staff of at least 8 working, but not all can do the same treatments. My daughter and I went for SNS acrylic manicures which cost $30 each ($35 if you want the "coffin" tip.) I was seated with the older gentleman who typically greets and answers the phones. He aims for detail with his work, but is often distracted by multitasking. My recommendation is, if you are paired with him, constantly check the progress of each phase of the nail process. Tell him you are a bit obsessive and you want your nails perfect; flawless. He could've easily overlooked the uneven length, excess color residue on skin at the final stage, etc. if I didn't make him aware. My daughter had her nails done by "Serena" or "Selena" (couldn't quite catch which it was) and she had a wonderful experience. Her manicurist concentrated solely on each nail, was accurate and if she had to look up she would stop what she was doing before resuming work on the nails. She also included an oil/lotion rub on arms and hands along with a back massage...all included for same price. I, on the other hand, was not offered any extras. Just something to ask for next time because it's clearly available at no charge. All in all, the salon is clean, decorations are simple but chic and sufficiently staffed and well managed. Chairs for pedicures appeared comfortable, as I watched customers enjoying their spa like experiences from the manicure tables opposite them. You can call ahead of time to book an appointment, but in all honesty I heard many phone calls received with that purpose in mind and they were told to just "come on in." Nothing was written down. I think it's a waste of time to expect you'll get a priority status simply because you called ahead. Just a tip! Out of a couple salons in Mebane I have tried, I will be going back to this one and requesting the young lady I mentioned. I would recommend this salon because they also care about the quality of their treatments and want to satisfy their customers.
