I got a job and started working for the store for about a week. The girl that hired me her name is Bailey. She was never very nice or made me feel welcome. Never gave me direction or showed me any respect. The owner is a very nice lady who's very meticulous about her store and very proud. The way she runs at store is amazing. I really liked the owner but the owner's daughter was very rude to me and nitpicked everything that I did and never had anything nice to say to me. The other employees at the store were very very nice and welcoming, most of them, and they really care about this store, and they work very very hard, and I really appreciate that too. But would I shop at the store? Absolutely, they have a wide variety of clothing they take in a lot of stuff every single day they work very hard they have a good system going. I really appreciated that about the store as well. I wish I could have stayed on longer, but it just wasn't the environment I was looking for. I am always suspicious of a business that can't or won't answer the phone and asked to leave a message and then doesn't return the call.

Brought in 3 bags of nice clothes (men's, women's and children's) name brands: Polo, lots of Nike, Gym shark, Children's place, Old navy + a lot of items that had tags still on, never worn, brand new & they took about 10-12 items and offered me $10. That stuff alone cost over $100. I brought my items in at 11am and they said "okay we'll call you when they're ready to be picked up" & i said okay and left the store. I had to call them at 4:45pm and ask if my clothes were done yet? & they said yes so i head to go pick them up & the girl was like "yeah haha i forgot to call you". Get better employees. The f*ck am i gonna do with $10. Don't go here to sell clothes you'll have better luck literally anywhere else. read more

I've been selling clothes here for awhile now. I always feel like they rip you off on what they buy though. I only continue to go there because I need the clothes out of my way and would just donate them anyway. I get that they have to make money, but I've seen the price they list things for and it's well over what they give you. It wouldn't hurt for them to pay a bit more to their customers. read more

Been using this place for resale for years Never had a problem until today I have a item and want it back I understand it's going to take a bit to find it I had requested it back several weeks ago Spoke to Ellen Super nice! Well today I spoke to a Mercedes RUDE RUDE RUDE!!! I was told "I don't know anything about this item then was told she told the owners " She told me " I don't know what you want me to do " Said I can keep calling until I can catch the owners Come to find out she is the owners child So unprofessional !! My daughter and I absolutely love this store. I introduced it to my son and daughter in law and they love it too. Staff occasionally are a little short, but its because they are so overwhelmed. if i could give zero stars i would. I was given a small basket when i came in. at the conclusion of my shopping i was having trouble keeping all the items in the small basket. the older lady at the front came up to me and said "isnt this extreme?! what is going on here?!" i said my daughter just had a baby, and I found alot of useful things. She said oh, well you're weird. Do you want me to take some of that to the front?! im a brand new first tome grandma whose grandbaby was born days ago. And of course being spoken to like this as if Im not normal made me upset, her words and horrible tone made me cry. Why would you speak to a customer that way?! I ended up not purchasing the several items i did have and only purchased a few, but I am so disappointed that a woman older than I am would talk so hateful towards me for wanting to purchase from her establishment. We came in from Enid and brought several trash bags to consign. I am confident in the staff to look through what is worth selling and what needs to be donated. The business is reputable and fair. Also the staff all wore masks and the store was spotless. While we had time, myself, my husband and our four kids looked for school clothes. We were able to score so many great name brand or brand new clothes. Everything is in great quality and was so cheap!! I highly recommend anyone working with a budget to check this resale shop out. I have loved shopping here for years now. But the owner's daughter gives me so much anxiety, I will not be going back. The first three times she came and crossed her arms and stared at me the whole time my young daughter and I were trying on clothes and repeating how many items I can take in dressing room because I had more than ten items in my cart . I chalked it up to her own personality issues because she is extremely rude to her coworkers. When my sister and I came back and we asked for a key to dressing room, and she fell over her own feet to rush to us to stand there and stare at us and tell me the item limit (which I have never exceeded in the dressing room, but I buy ALOT of clothes when I come in). She will stand and stare at us the entire time, so I said have we done something and she said what? you don't like rules?? and I said no, I don't like being made to feel like I am doing something wrong when I am just shopping . Another employee came over and was very kind and asked me if I was ok, and made me feel more comfortable and we finished up and paid. I came back feeling like it had been handled and everything was over. its been over a month! We were shopping and she cam over and tried to take my cart and said she would take it up front and I said no thank you , I am sharing this with someone else and we are still shopping . She went to the other employees and started talking about me. We made our way to dressing room and starting dividing our clothes into piles to see who had what and what we want to try on and she starts talking about us and the other lady says OOH THEY WILL BE ASKING FOR KEYS FIRST! ( the doors are locked,. Yes we will ask, we wont pick the lock). I just decided to put all my clothes back and to leave. Sadly , I am not going back . I loved going there and shopping. We took today off from work to shop there today and have a girls day. We were both just over it and went home. read more

Absolutely love this place! The staff is always helpful and chipper. The store is always tidy and you can easily find the sections you need as the layout makes sense. Always have good advice on how to save, and my kids enjoy that they take the time to talk to them too! Great selection and decent prices. Of course we would all love to see lower prices, but they do have some pretty decent discounts to make up for it, in my opinion. So glad it's in BA and close enough to visit often. read more

I've been coming here for 20 years. They moved from a small location to this bigger location in that time. I can understand how people think they do not have customer service skills but they are extremely busy, multi-tasking and working fast to get everyone taken care of. I've had good and bad experiences here but that is everywhere you go. I believe they do consignment at 50/50, which isn't horrible. They have to exam each item, steam it, look it up to get the best price, tag/security-tag it, etc. Just think about doing laundry all day long at home. Your arms would get tired, feet will hurt and it's not fun. They do their best and I thank them for that and will always be a customer! read more

I was a permanent fixture at Dillard's prior to having discovered Uptown Consignment & have now been shopping here since the very day they opened their first store next to C.J. Moloney's in Broken Arrow over 20+ years ago. I can honestly say that so many of my friends are truly astonished when they are forever asking where I purchased specific clothing items for my answer to only always be just the same, at Uptown Consignment! I was truly blessed & fortunate to have discovered Uptown & their remarkable inventory of reasonably priced clothing & shoes prior to my inevitably going bankrupt over having needed to have dressed all 5 of my children with, what I admit, is exceptionally expensive taste! I have girlfriends that come from all over the state just to shop here for their entire families & they are never disappointed because their trip is always well worth the time invested. If I could put zero stars I would. I went there to consign some of my things. I took my 15 month old with me. I couldn't put her in a cart BC all the belt were broken, so I held her while they sllllllooooooowwwwly went through my things. It took them 30 minutes, no exaggeration. I put my daughter on the floor for a second BC she didn't want to be held any longer. No sooner that I put her down she found a peanut M&M on the floor! She is allergic to peanuts!!! Thank God I saw her with it immediately. After waiting 30 minutes (they were just gabbing while I stood there with a screaming child) the lady drops my bag of clothes on the floor and says "sorry we can't take any of it" then walks away. Most of what I had were name brand clothes (gap, banana republic, the Loft) Even a north face jacket that I bought last season! It was awful. I will never in my life go back there. read more

I've been shopping here since they were at their old location many, many years ago. I started bringing my clothes in on consignment back in 2012 and I stopped doing that in 2014. I still shop here because I like the clothes, good prices, clean condition and well organized store keeps me a shopper. What keeps me away as a consignor is that I would bring in lots of name brand girls clothing (Matilda Jane, Persnickety, Mud Pie, etc). They would almost always take those pieces, barring condition of course, but I would never ever see my items out for sale on the sales floor. I didn't worry too much about it until I'd go to pick up the money in my account and have only $30-$40 after a few months every time. I came to find out they have an eBay account and I wonder if their higher end items wound up on there? I can't accuse them of that, because I don't know that to be the case with my items and now a days when I shop the kids section they do have high end girl's clothing for sale in there, but a few years ago they didn't! You could never find any Matilda Jane or the like labels in the girl sizes and I know other ppl like me dropped them off. Where did they go? Who got paid for them if they sold? I sure didn't. As a shopper these days, my kids are older and out of the cutesy, frilly little girl things so that part thankfully no longer concerns me personally, but anyone reading this should be cautious as a would be consignor. I do like to buy my shoes and adult clothing here because the prices are reasonable but I shy away from any jewelry. They sell so many fakes like coach, Tiffany, LV, etc you never know if you're actually buying something authentic at a high price point or not and no offense, I'm not trusting my hard earned money with these people on accessories. I sincerely doubt they have a professional authenticity employee on payroll that's specifically trained in detail identification for forgery of every major label that comes through their doors. Trademark and copyright infringement is against the law. They really shouldn't be selling these things anyway and profiting. Bottom line: consign/sell here: no. Shop here, yes but do so wisely and at your own risk if you buy anything other than clothing or housewares. read more

The women at Uptown Resale & Consignments shop have no etiquette or manners. It is not polite to hold up things people bring in to sell and laugh loudly saying "I wouldn't buy that", among other statements. Whether it's junk or not, whether they are interested in reselling it or not, it is very rude. Snickering quietly would be one thing, but making a spectacle is unprofessional and unacceptable. I will definitely steer anyone I know or talk to away to other consignment shops with tact... for selling and purchasing. read more
