Three guys arrived right on time. Super respectful -- when they saw the row of shoes near my doorway, all three of them immediately took off their shoes before they entered the apartment! I didn't even ask. They're quite speedy. With time to spare after hanging the painting, they helped me out with a handful of smaller framed photos and two big curtain rods. And when the curtain rods broke -- because they were pretty cheap and the threading on the screws had been stripped -- they MacGyver-ed it back together simply using a piece of string I would definitely hire them again.

I was very pleased with their work and how fast the technicians were available, especially on a Sunday, which was very convenient for my schedule. Aziz contacted me right away after I sent in my inquiry online. I like that they saved what I sent to Aziz in my email and he sent me my receipt (not sure if this is automatic but I requested a receipt). The technician said his method of payment would be cash and he didn't create receipts. But the technician called Aziz and we confirmed that I paid the money. Aziz emailed my receipt as an attachment the next morning. A little issue with that because I was worried for a minute that he wouldn't respond and give me a receipt. I wanted to make sure no one would accuse me of owing money later. After talking to Aziz on the phone then sending an email later, I was glad to see Aziz's email with my receipt the next morning. I would also like to suggest that the technicians bring a ladder to every appointment. I said I needed pictures hung and the technicians said some of my pictures were too high. They said they were not told to bring a ladder. As a customer, I wouldn't think of that. I did think the picture could be hung and I offered for them to use my step ladder but I guess they felt it wouldn't work so I have to hang some of the pictures myself. But, otherwise, everything else that they did was great. I'm not sure if the price was fair because Any Assembly was the only quote I received for the work. I sent inquiries to 2 other places. I still haven't heard back from those 2 other places. I'm happy with the work that was done. Any Assembly sent 2 technicians and they put together 2 loft workstation bunk beds, hung up 4 wall lamps from IKEA and hung about 10 pictures. They worked from about 2:30p (arrived promptly on time) and ended at 7p. $400 for very fast, professional service. At some point, the technicians were even asking if there was anything else I might need. I didn't feel like they were rushing or trying to hurry to leave. And the technician even fixed my broken drawer when he saw it was broken, free of charge. I would definitely contact Any Assembly again and recommend them to a friend. I'm glad to have found a company that can do what they do. It definitely leaves me with more options when I buy things for my home. I don't have to worry about how I will put furniture together or how I would find time to hang up a lot of pictures in symmetrical balance. I am a Very Satisfied Customer! :)

This relates to what comes across as current communication issues. And if I come to Yelp and highlight the good, it is only fair to also highlight when an experience with a company... is not good. I do not have a problem with a business being busy. That is a good problem for a business to have. My issue comes, when instead of saying you are busy, the business continually makes appts or followups they do not keep. At that point you do something I have a problem with, you waste the one thing none of us can afford to waste, you waste time. In this case you waste my time and that, especially when you do it repeatedly, I find annoying and unprofessional. If you can't do a job, say that, I am happy to give business to others. And it is preferable to over-promising and under-delivering. Will not belabor the point, that is my most recent experience. And hopefully this review saves you... time. Thanks.

He's always been very responsive, charges reasonable rates and stands behind his work. When I started calling handymen & contractors in the area a lot of them never bothered to return messages, or would promise me a quote and then disappear. Bryce answered my call, was able to make a prompt appointment and showed up as promised. Everything he has done for us looks good and when there was an issue with part of one job he quickly showed up and fixed the problem. He's also honest when some repairs require someone with a more specialized skillset. When he discovered some issues with our brick walls he didn't hesitate to tell me that this was something that required a mason, so it's good to know he won't half-ass a job that's outside of what he normally does.

They were not overpaid by any means EXCEPT that they damaged almost every piece of my best furniture in a 4 mile move. For instance: Guest bedroom box spring and mattress (scraped off fabric on edge/corner and dirty from dragging even though it was in a UHAUL mattress/box protector), Living room couch (dirt on back of couch from footprint? & metal gliders yanked out of couch legs by dragging) TV cabinet, (at least 9 half-dime or larger dings to the moldings and edges & metal gliders yanked out), Master bedroom bedside table 1 (large wide scrape to the finish on top), Master bedroom bedside table 2 (several nicks/dings), Master bedroom cedar chest (large gouge to side). The contents of at least one box were shattered - it was pottery that was very special to me - There are many boxes I have not yet opened - be aware they do not guarantee boxes will not be damaged. They did not properly wrap furniture before putting it on the dolly. I should have insisted that we look carefully at all pieces of furniture before they left, but Matt Toney was in a big hurry to "get the truck back". My foolish mistake.

We called several places to get quotes for our attic insulation. Joe texted us to find out what…read moreissues we had and and discuss everything with us. He then came to look at our attic and provide us with an estimate. At first, everything went the same as everyone else who gave us estimates, but when he went into our attic, he didn't just look at the insulation, he looked at everything. No one else said anything about any other problems, but Joe found several issues. He found HVAC leaks that were causing us to lose energy and a roof leak that we didn't even know about. At first, I thought that he was just trying to sell us additional services that we didn't need, but he told me that he doesn't do HVAC or roofing work and suggested that we have someone else address those issues. We had a HVAC company come in and they saw what he found and fixed it, then a roofer fixed our other issue. While his price was about the same as our other quotes, the level of service that he provided was way above what the others provided. Joe said that if someone saw a problem with his house that he didn't know about, he would hope that someone told him so he treats his customers how he would want to be treated and does the same. Excellent service for a great price. We highly recommend Joe!

Joe recommended an HVAC system for my home and I trusted his professional experience. Which he had…read moreme pay for a system that we found out later was not compatible with my home. He would come and try to get it to work and leave for several days at a time eventually my family went through all of June, July and August with no HVAC for my home. When he finally admitted that he didnt know what he was doing and admitted he was wrong for the work he didnt finish. He left and cut off all communication. Now my family is with out a HVAC sytem and out of thousands of dollars with equipment we cant use. I asked him to be accoutable and resolve this as he promised. He even said his wife knew what was going on and that she said...We need to take care of me.....Well, what do you think happened? ...he "Ghosted" never to be heard from again. By the way...He's not licensed, and he doesnt carry the "$1,000,000" dollars of insurence that he has stickered on the side of his pickup. I hope he reads this..... I paid her $425 down payment on July 2 for work to be done ASAP. She said she could do it that week…read more but didn't get her act together until late and we finally scheduled for July 16 and 18. On July 15th she said she was in a car accident but could start on the 18th but will let me know by the 17th. She didn't let me know. I called and texted multiple times. She finally sent a text on the 18th that her son can do the work but did not provide any contact info, dates, plan, nothing. It's July 24 and I'm still waiting to hear back. I think my money is probably gone and there will be no work done.
