Awesome to work with! They replaced the counter on our bathroom vanity, and the counters in our kitchen. They made things quick and easy!

We had a great experience with Urban Countertops. After visiting their showroom and selecting the material we wanted, they came out to our condo to do the measurements. They were always on time, if not early,and called in advance to let us know of their arrival. We had also ordered a new sink so they took it with them to ensure everything fitted properly. Price is competitive and the turnaround was quick - about 5-7 days from beginning of process to installation. The countertop was installed in one day, and probably would have taken just a few hours if we had not run into an issue with the waterfall part of the countertop. The measurement was slightly off, so they brought out extra equipment to cut and size it correctly. They worked overtime to get it all done in a day which I was very impressed with! read more

We received our countertops from this business in December, 2017. In November of 2018, a spice jar fell from the the first shelf of our counters and chipped the stone. In talking with Aaron at Urban Countertops, he informed me that they don't guarantee the stone as the chip was not a "defect in the stone itself." I guess when he sells the stone as "strong, durable, tough, etc" he means it's strong, durable and tough...in the showroom? But don't expect it to withstand a jar of cinnamon falling approx 16 inches and hitting it. It's not strong enough to deal with that. Aaron was nice enough to offer to fix the stone - for $125. I called two repair services - both said that the stone shouldn't have chipped and that the the installer should stand behind their work and product. Especially given nature of the damage. So, when buying your counters, be sure to ask the folks at Urban Countertops to review their guarantees and warranties with you. Get them in writing. Or go to another company that DOES stand behind their work/product. Trust me, you and your seasonings will thank you. read more

First the prices are beyond competitive; second they have a wonderful selection, and they are in Chicago no need to go to the suburbs; third they are quick, both to measure and to install; fourth the installation was flawless.
