We arrived at 630pm. I believe the store was closed but Kathie was more than obliging to let us come in and look around. From the outside, the store looks like a typical furniture outlet. Inside there are rare gems to find. Kathie let us know if we didn't find what we were looking for she could have something custom ordered. Lucky for us we found a few items already there. We had been in search for a jute rug. At pottery barn, the typical jute 8 × 10 runs for a little more than a thousand dollars. We found a beautiful jute rug with orange rust accent threading to match our couches for far less than what is priced at pottery barn and the quality of rug was not sacrificed. We also bought some artwork from them. A pretty large piece for a very reasonable price. I attached all the pictures. Favorite little touch: they sell small products like lotions and candies that are made locally and are organic Thank you Kathie for your hospitality and we will be popping in to add more pieces to our home. read more

I am so impressed with this lovely home boutique. I purchased a lovely sofa for a reasonable price. Everything in the store is absolutely darling. The most remarkable thing, though, is their extraordinary customer service. The salesperson, Janelle, was helpful, friendly, and made me feel welcome. No snooty service here! When the delivery company fell through, the owner personally delivered my sofa herself. I tell you! That is true customer service. read more

Not impressed whatsoever me and my husband were looking for furniture excited cause we're looking to open up our own place of business. As soon as we walked in a women, don't know if we was the owner or and employee but all she did was say hello at her desk and that was it! No customer service whatsoever she was to busy looking at her computer with her body turned in to her computer looking at furniture. No help, Nice things some things had a price and didn't know what other things cost. Very poor service didn't mean to bother her. Won't go back! read more

I absolutely love this store! and the owners are wonderful! My husband and I were looking for a new tv console / entertainment center. We weren't ready to buy, just looking to see what's out there and the cost. We had visited a couple of other shops before arriving at Urban Elegance, and based on what we had seen at the other shops, we were not expecting much. Boy were we pleasantly surprised! Not only did we find a beautiful entertainment center, my husband found some bar stools that are beautiful, unique and a perfect match for our home. We purchased the bar stools that day. We went back about a month later to buy the entertainment center. Of course we had to walk around to see all the new items Kathy had, and ended up finding another one that we liked better and bought it. She even searched the internet to make sure she was giving us the best price. Now that's going the extra mile! I usually have to do that myself. Kathy and John are so helpful and willing to go the extra step. They want to make sure you're happy with your purchased, which makes sense so you'll want to come back. If you see something in their warehouse, John will start moving furniture to make you a path to look closer. No hesitation to help and get you what you want. I would like to comment on the posting from the person who felt they didn't get good customer service. I completely understand what you're saying because I see it at so many places nowadays. I hope you give Kathy another chance because I know, from my own experience in the store that when Kathy is working with you, she is focused on you, which I appreciate. Due to the size of the store it's not always apparent that someone might be waiting for her. I have gone in and seen she's with someone, so I gladly cruise around looking at all the wonderful items she has on display. I make sure to cruise by her and catch her eye to let her know I would like a moment. I've never had to wait very long once she saw me. She is so helpful and the shop has such great pieces, that change frequently. Please give her another chance. We also have our eyes on a gorgeous table that's from the same line as our bar stools. Looks like we'll be visiting again soon. :) Can't wait! read more

There are so many unique, fun and beautiful findings in this "earthy" furniture and household boutique shop! You will not see everything in one visit and it's forever changing with new inventory. I'm amazed with the great prices and the owner/designer is so personable that you'll feel very comfortable without the pressure of a pushy salesperson. She's extremely knowledgeable, kind, honest and helpful in wanting to make your vision a reality and always works within your budget. She's not limited to her purchasing so anything you'd find online from the finest manufacturer designers of home furnishings, such as rugs, sofas, bed frames, desks, dining tables, lamps, sconces and accessories, she most likely works with as well. Anyone reading these should know that this is a self owned, self run business-- and it's ran by effing Wonder Woman, okay? She has four kids, more struggles than she cares to admit, lost her mom to dementia last year, had to move out of her home, and just lost love of her life to cancer this year. She puts everyone before herself. She works endlessly, without complaint. She is a woman of God. I just happened upon this place, as it is near the allergy clinic I go to. It looks small from the outside, but it's got a pretty good selection, and they had a warehouse sale going on. They greeted me when I walked in, and I after I looked around a bit, the lady who helped me, named Kathy, was super helpful. She gave me information on the companies they source their furniture from, and they had catalogs to look through as well as a computer you could presumably look up furniture you wanted. Furniture was high quality. Kathy told me that she could order what I wanted, and she also very generously mentioned a couple of other places for the items I needed that she didn't have. She went above and beyond, which I appreciate. Also, they play nice music and I believe are faith-based. I will go back when I have furniture/home decor needs. I like supporting local businesses when possible, especially when they are as helpful as these people are. read more

Don't expect any type of assistance. I totally got the brush off from these two gals. I came in ready to spend about $2000 on a dining room table and both of them were more concerned with assisting one customer a simple gift basket. They have really nice items in their store unfortunately I'm a little old-fashioned when it comes to customer service and when I receive bad customer service I don't have a tendency to return. read more
