Despite having to drive to Loma Linda/Redlands to look at carpet/flooring or SFV for countertops, at least these places have plenty of parking so that was a plus to start. Crazy that I valet park at Boba Bear in Ktown to get boba. Another plus for going to these farther places is that they tend to have more options and bigger showrooms, which makes up for the drive. It was good to go a company who have been around for the knowledge on all the options out there. Sometimes you think you know what you want but then you learn about a different material that fits your needs better and also is the aesthetic you want. I would recommend. read more

I posted a review on this company a year ago or so. Now my carpet looks worse than ever. The padding they used is Cheap even tho we paid for the BEST they had. I have rolls in my carpet. It looks horrible. I cry when I look at it! This is my home. I paid for a service that just was plain crooked. They came to my house a year ago to look at the premature lines, and said that is how it is made. LIE Like I said now I have rolls in my very expensive carpet because of cheap padding! We were recommended here by my parents because Mars had carpeted their entire house. The prices ARE cheap, however the customer service is AWFUL. We just needed carpet for one room, for our baby nursery. We went in with a 10x11 estimate for our bedroom (not exact measurement). We were quoted, we paid, we had an installation date. On the day of the installation their installer advised us the carpet was cut short and he couldn't install...However no one came to measure in the first place so why they had him cut carpet beats me...we came in with estimates. I told him to just leave and I called Mars, extremely upset. I was then reprimanded by their owner because he couldn't get over the fact WHY I wouldn't pay the extra $20 to his installer, and advised me it was OUR fault for not measuring properly...huh??...but isn't the carpet company suppose to come do their own measurements??....obviously that wasn't the issue here. The issue was I paid for the carpet....I paid what I was quoted....I wanted my damn carpet installed!!! The other issue is that I am 9 months pregnant, and unfortunately my husband was working during the time this all happened and I feel like a different tone would've been used towards him if he called and resolved our issue....that's my honest opinion. I would seriously love for them to repeatedly ask my husband "Do you understand why he asked for $20...DO YOU UNDERSTAND??"...yea... How the issue was "resolved": No one called after I got off the phone with the owner. I literally had to call and see what was going to happen...are they gonna install or what...at this point I'm PISSED....yea a PISSED off pregnant women who just wants frickin carpet in one bedroom. So after some back and forth, wanting to charge me extra, then me wanting my money back, then them saying they just didn't want to ruin their relationship with their installer...they said they would come out two days later...uggh. I just agreed. F*CK it. I want my carpet. We eventually got our carpet installed and had no issues with the installation. Miguel was actually extremely pleasant to work with! So, I went to Mars looking for tile for my shower. We started our master bath remodel last Wednesday and need to pick tile ASAP. Initially, the salesperson came to ask us for assistance and I gladly accepted it and told her what I was looking for and she was being helpful. About 5 minutes later, another couple came in and she jumped our ship, basically without explanation, to help them. She was very friendly and warm with and we were hanging. Left to our own devices, I actually found the exact tile I wanted! I took photos and am planning to purchase it at another store. The reason they get 2 stars is because she came over apologized profusely for "jumping ship" on us (her words). She also told us that we can go to Deltile to look for tile and then left us again to help the other couple, so, I will buy the tile I found at Mars but I will buy from someone who treats me like they want my business. I'm Hispanic and everyone else was white as were the sales people. I don't like to play the race card but make of it what you will. Ok, so they get ONE star only. The place she told me to go to for the tile, Deltile, is only for trade professionals not the general public. read more

I wish I could recommend this place because the people were very nice and I really like supporting local businesses. However, after they came to measure for an estimate I never heard back. After calling a couple weeks later, I was told he'd email me the quote the next day. Again I heard nothing. About a month after the initial measurements were taken I called again to give them one last chance. She was very polite and told me she'd find out what was going on and get back to me right away. They didn't even finish all the work, never came on time, never communicated, I waited days after the promised day they would come.
