I went to this salon a few months ago, with pink hair that needed to be re-done. My hair girl was Danielle, she did an amazing job on my hair. Everyone is super friendly from the other stylists to the girls at the counter; but... I have pretty thick hair and it took about 5 hrs for my shoulder length hair. I appreciate her doing a thorough job but she charges around $88-89 an hour and there are others who charge close to $99 an hour. I'm pretty sure that the whole hourly amount doesn't go to the stylist but it's just too expensive for me to continue coming here. I know we all gotta make a living but I moved from California and use to pay half that price with triple the hair. I booked with Devin and I could not be more happy with her awesome care and experience :) it really showed how much care and love she puts into her work when she asked me questions to clarify the cut I wanted. I came in with 5 different style "guideline" pictures and she was able to guide me more on the decisions we would have to make for the haircut to look good on me. I went for a big chop (with a somewhat alternative haircut) and she made me feel at ease and in good hands. Since then, I have come in for a complementary bang trim. We also shaved my sides again. So disappointed!! They lied straight to my face and tried to cover it up, dodged my calls, and were super unprofessional about resolving this issue. :( BEWARE: Devin, at least, does NOT have time for new clients. I scheduled with Devin on Oct 24 for a fashion color dye. Before coming in, I made it very clear that I'm a stock broker, so I can't take time off during the week to come in. It was imperative to have someone who could be there for me on the weekends. I was promised that Devin had time for a new client, which was a major reason I decided to book the first $1500 appointment. After the appointment, we went to re-book for 4 weeks out for an extension adjustment. Suddenly, no Saturdays were available (?!?) despite the initial promise that got me in the door. They put me in "tentatively" on a Thursday for the 2 hour appointment and promised me they'd call when Devin had figured out her schedule. Somehow, a 2 hour block couldn't be found during 5 weeks. Instead, they called me on 11/30 to offer me a 12/29 appointment - more than 2 full months after the initial appointment!! Anyone who has had hair color and/or extensions knows that 2 months is too long between appointments. The extensions will rip out, causing so much hair damage, and the grown out color just looks sloppy. In "trying" to reschedule me, they overlooked notes to split up my appointments (dye, extension adjustment) to match Devin's availability. They also had every detail of my requested appointments wrong, which I had to correct several times. I was promised a call back that afternoon but didn't receive a call (despite calling them back several times myself) until four days later. In the meanwhile, I had referred a friend to Devin. She had gotten a weekend appointment with no problem. Yet, Shana (the scheduling assistant) told me over the phone that no weekend appointments whatsoever had become available during that two month window. Why lie? So, after doing tons of research and trial/error to find a salon that could accomplish the look I wanted, with the caveat of weekend availability, I ended up with an unprofessional salon. One that lies to people to get them in the door, and does not show an ounce of care or personal touch afterwards. It made me so sad to realize this - please don't let it happen to you, too. read more

Nissa is AMAZING and one of the only stylist I've ever gone back to in YEARS. I usually float stylist by stylist, chasing the cut of my favorite from years ago when I was living in Florida. Since then, I've never found anyone I liked enough to go back to. That is now changed (finally) with Nissa who gave me one of the best cuts I've ever had. I have long, thick hair and wanted it to be shorter and lighter for summer. Thinning hair is not a task for the faint at hear (or unskilled) and Nissa did it perfectly, plus gave me a cute cut with bounce and layers that doesn't make me look like a soccer mom. I've been going here since they opened, and I really like it and the pricing is fair in my opinion. Devin does the best job and yesterday a friend of mine told me her balayage looked amazing. They recently got a Barbicide COVID-19 certification, and I felt safe while I was there as they were wearing masks, took temperatures and had people sign a waiver stating that they had not been ill. I felt a little bad going some place to get my hair done in these times, but I wanted to support local businesses and the people who work there. Also I've been by myself a lot and it was nice to have something to look forward to, haha! All in all I felt comfortable being in the salon. Don't be ridiculous and make sure you bring a mask! The staff probably needs to make money and shouldn't have to risk their health to support themselves because you feel like your rights are being "violated" for having to wear a little piece of fabric over your nose and mouth. She's been doing my hair for almost 2 years now and has always kept my look fun and also gives me that push to play around with new colors and cuts. She also was a tremendous help last year when I lost about 20% of my hair from hormonal issues. She does the most amazing vivid and pastel colors but she is also great with the more traditional colors as well. She took my boring brown a mixture of lowlights and highlights and turned it into a beautiful solid icy platinum blonde with a cute cut in one session while keeping my hair healthy. For all the blondes out there she uses Olaplex to keep it healthy. She is a perfectionist and will make sure your hair is exactly right. She really takes the time to understand what you want and educated you on the whole process and through each step so you really feel confident in the entire process.
