Their team has been helpful from the beginning and incorporated my many design Ideas and requirements. communications were prompt and timely and shipping arrived as agreed. although it turned out that one panel arrived damaged they went ahead and rushed a new one from Italy. We had an amazing experience with urban homes. The show room is beautiful and easy to access. The model kitchens are a great sample, but they also have many other options that are not on display. From design suggestions to actual installation they were professional, accurate and we are extremely happy with the result. Wait time is Italian style too so order as soon as you figure out your layout. We chose the industrial style and everybody just loves it especially the mashed glass doors and raw/reclaimed wood combination. Super efficient kitchen and the quality is very high. read more

So far, this experience has been just as positive as our first time around. We received plenty of Informative communication during the COVID shutdown/delay this Spring to keep us posted on the delivery timeline from Italy. I am surprised to read the reviews below but I do believe it is easier to complain than to compliment. We did a large kitchen and butler pantry installation with Urban Homes. They designed both for us, supplying us with Aster Cucine Cabinetry, Lighting, Gaggenau & Mile Appliances as well as Caesarstone Countertops. Jacob and Derek made a complicated project very simple for us and executed all parts as promised. They were both there for us each step of the way and kept us well informed as to the status of delivery from Italy. They had a great team doing our installation and happily came back to provide minor adjustments when we asked them to do so. The pricing of the project was very competitive and their desire to please was amazing. We are very proud of our project and would work with Urban Homes again in an instant. Hired for gut renovation of our NYC apartment. - 3 month project turned into 1 year. - poor communication after project mgr left shop and owner, Derek, took over. - horrible response time after most of monies paid with work still outstanding. - michelle was wonderful to work with on all aspects of kitchen remodel. Fast forward 3 years. Urban Homes IMPROPERLY INSTALLED a high end integrated refrigerator in my kitchen renovation ! A Liebherr refrigerator rep came to my apt. without even opening the refrigerator to assess the problem with it, informed me that it was IMPROPERLY INSTALLED !!!!! Made me pull out manual installation guide and very obviously was 100% correct. Urban Homes also tried to sue us for the review we originally wrote about the HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE we had working with them for the full kitchen reno they did. I cannot overstate how wonderful my experience with Urban Homes has been. I moved into an apartment with a kitchen that required a gut job. To be frank, I was more than a little overwhelmed. I work around the clock, had very little time to dedicate to the project and had to rely heavily on the good people at Urban Homes to come up with a design that worked with my vision. I had the extreme pleasure of working with Christopher Martinez, who was a total professional through and through. He designed the perfect kitchen for me, which was completed this week. It is GORGEOUS and really maximized the space. We used Urban Homes's installers, who were also total pros. Chris kept me updated through email at every turn and the installers showed up exactly when they said they would. When we began the project, my mother said, "Something always goes wrong with kitchens and it always takes double as long as they say it will." On both counts, my mother was wrong - they were on time and nothing went wrong. It is my dream kitchen. I recently had my kitchen renovated. Urban Homes recommended Aster Cucina to manufacture the cabinets. I chose white glossy laquer and dark laminate. The finishes and style turned out to be excellent - great value for money. Logan was very pleasant to work with and provided excellent service. When there were minor installation issues, they took care of it immediately. I decided to make a minor design change and ordered new doors - I am hopeful this will go well. read more

Just finished a project with Urban Homes and I would highly recommend them! Five stars! My kitchen was the first remodeling project I did in my apartment. I chose Urban Homes because they could do every facet of the job -- from design to installation. My kitchen required new wiring, sheetrock, painting, flooring, cabinets, countertops, and new light fixtures. Michelle, the designer, created a beautiful kitchen with the space AND helped me stay within my budget. The expertise of the staff and quality of work was superb. Jakub, the job supervisor, came up with some great ideas when we ran into unexpected problems (during demolition we discovered a pipe in the wall that could not be moved!). He and Michelle reworked the design that stayed within my budget. the whole team was meticulous ,respectful, trustworthy, and always pleasant. Their daily clean up was much appreciated! The only issue that I had was some of the cabinets were damaged during shipping, but after I discussed this with Jakub, they had them replace; no questions asked.
