Person working the register was very rude! A product I was going to purchase rang up as a dime out, and she then charged me the price on the tag (49.99). My sister had just checked out with a dime out ahead of me and was only charged .05 cents for it. I know stores have different policies but at the stores I've been at its typical to change the price to 4.99 instead of what is listed (because it is the stores fault you aren't keeping up with furthers!!!). When I told her I saw the same skirt online at a cheaper price she told me "it's different online" and in my experience, we would honor the online price if its cheaper! Overall very poor customer service from her! Sale associate 322487 is who checked me out! Your store either needs to nail down a dime out policy or price your garments correctly. Very disappointed because I know the brand can do better. Edit: Also to add when I told her I no longer wanted the skirt she flung it back behind her and spoke in a very rude tone. I get not liking customer service and getting annoyed, but girl you chose to work a customer facing job! read more

Contrast to the first review written by what appears to be an elderly woman, the Urban Outfitters is a much welcomed addition to the downtown area. Writing a review with one star because you lack the cognitive capacity to understand current style trends is baffling. Anyway... "The Square" reboot as whole is a much needed step in the right direction to bring Lexington from overgrown small town to a bustling mid-sized city. I am glad to see they're kicking the dilapidated and rundown business out of these prime location spots. In short, if can't understand why that mediocre restaurant was taken out behind the woodshed you likely don't understand or shop at UO. read more

Where did they get the employees, from a big city? Nothing wrong with big cities, but the people here don't seem local. I walked around the store for about thirty minutes, passing many employees and never once was I spoken to. No biggie, I don't need anyone to hold my hand while I shop, but a simple "hello, are you finding everything?" or something is polite and usually a common courtesy that retail store teach their employees. My first and final encounter with anyone here was at check out. The lady said "are you doing Christmas shopping for someone else?" as if to point out that I was too old for anything in the store to buy anything for myself. Then she added another snide comment. They were socks for God sake! Is there a label on boot socks that you can't be over a certain age to wear them?! Now I'm going to have a complex when I wear them. By the way clerk chick, you're not too young yourself. It's definitely an urban store, but there is more than just clothing. They have purses, scarves, records and a lot of other things that I was surprised to find. They have free wifi and a sitting area near the records. They also have phone charging station, but they are all mini USB, for the Android lovers... iphone users are SOL at this time. Downtown trendy doesn't necessarily have to be for a certain age. But if they're targeting a certain age group, from the looks of the patrons, the target trend is working and if they are attempting to drive away people older than drinking age, it seems to be working. I'll not be back though. They don't validate parking either, so it's street parking or the paid lot on Short Street. read more

I love this location! Nestled in the downtown area, this Urban Outfitters offers a unique look for your shopping experience. They typically have unique and fun shirts. I also like the throwback 90s style. There's a vinyl section, books, figurines and more. The employees are always nice here and very helpful. Generally, the store looks put together and is easy to shop through. It's also very big. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the parking situation. There is a parking garage across the street, but other than that, you have to park a little bit away. Not a big deal at all for me, but still something to consider. read more

Came in here for the 3rd time and every time I've left empty handed. There's plenty of nice attire, but I personally think I can find same type of clothing at Macy's for a cheaper rate. Plus a lot of their clearances items are either XS or XL and not really a good clearance price. $20 for shorts that cost $30 isn't that much of a discount for it being on the clearance section, especially since it's fall and these are items that are going to be out of season rather soon. The store is definitely unique, but there's just not a wide display of clothes that are reasonably priced. It may also be the reason why every time I come in here it's always nearly empty. Some suggestions would be to lower the cost on some of your attire and bring in more shoe selections. Other than that, this is a neat store and I always enjoy window shopping in here. read more

Urban Outfitters opened lin Victorian Square last week. I attended their opening, along with throngs of teenagers. I'm wondering how they will afford the outrageous prices of the clothes. The sales personnel were very young, and it appears this is the crowd they intend to cater to. Although there were a few pieces I liked and would consider wearing, I did notice that the sizing of the clothes was a bit off. Even those with labels indicating they were a small were HUGE, big enough for at least two of me. Sadly, this is what replaced De Sha's! read more

Trendy finally arrived Downtown Lexington, which sorely needed a shot in downtown revitalization and what an excellent addition to bring in a trendy chic shop in UO? This is going to change downtown for good. I can imagine when 21C Museum Hotel opens, the revitalization of South Limestone into North Limestone, we have a bright future at chic restaurants, bars, retail stores, etc. We have many great restaurants there already, there are more to come. With many additions at Fayette Mall, this is going to change Downtown for good. As an UO fan, this store is very neatly organized with ladies stuff on the first floor and men's stuff on second floor. You can find many great bargains in the clearance area on second floor. I fortunately came today for the 25 percent off sweaters and came away with a $20 cool cardigan. UO is definitely a MAJOR shot and upgrade over it's former anchor, a restaurant that was on the downside. I am excited to see what lies ahead of Downtown, we definitely need more retail stores to complement the wonderful Downtown restaurants. UO, thank you for coming to Lexington! read more

Urban Outfitters is wonderful. Located in downtown Lexington, it is placed in an area that will ensure not only great business for the company, but alteration to the trendiness of Lexington. I'm typically a J. Crew kind-of-guy, but have started crafting my style with the addition of some edgy pieces form UO. It's a great store and I'm so happy that they decided to give Lex. a shot! read more

The store building itself is quite beautiful and historic. I'm from Philadelphia so am familiar with the brand and find that this particular store doesn't stock much. I don't really have much luck. Also, there was a random spot upstairs that my dog really didn't want to walk around.... Haunted?!?? read more

There were three sales associates standing by the door. Not one of them said hello. The other two sales associates that were actually working however did say hello. Sorry but you are in retail customer service you can't afford to be snobby. I prefer the ones in Los Angeles to this one hands down! Will I return to give them a second chance?
