I always associate Urban Outfitters with easy, carefree, almost "hippie" type clothing, This store is all the way opposite to the trendy clothing stores that sell t-shirts for $100 and sunglasses for $300. The T-shirts were barely $5 and the sunglasses here were in the $15 range. It's one of those stores that I know I can get something that might be used on a one time occasion, part of a costume, or for something that I know might not be a durable outfit. The Aventura Mall store was not big as compared to other ones I've been to, but it still had a good selection of accessories and clothing. read more

The only reason I headed to this store is because my sister loves this place and rarely gets to go to the store in person as it is far from where we live. Looking around I realized how expensive and lackluster the clothing was here. Lots of things were things I could've probably find something similar to at a lower price. My sister did however, get a nice coat so I'll give them that. Worth the price of what it cost? No but definitely a nice coat. There's actual a multitude of other products that are pretty interesting. They have various books and little wacky toys and items. Those are reasonably priced in my opinion. I believe those items are more likely to be part of sales the store provides. There was also a nice section of vinyl records to skim through. I was pretty much done browsing/shopping here after about 10 minutes. The staff here was friendly and there was always an employee nearby if you needed help. This place is great for little doodads and interesting gifts. As for apparel, I would recommend somewhere else if you're on a budget. read more

I always go here with my daughter who loves the clothes here. You just have to be mindful of the prices as they can be pretty pricey (The items that were on sale here today were an extra 50% off). They have some very cute items whether they are shirts, shoes, pants, sweatshirts and more. They also have alot of knick knacks, pillows, candy and other items! Always fun to see what they have and look at the sayings on some of these too! Even in the dressing room, they are smart and they have a rack of sale items to look at! Make sure you look all around to see what is here!! It's in the Aventura mall and so the parking is relatively easy! They now carry records which I was amazed at! You never know! read more

I love spending time in here before a movie or during lunchtime. On Saturday last I spent about an hour in here with my 11 yr old just looking at stuff. Its a veritable treasure chest for the young at heart. Such endearingly titled books such as "Whats your Poo Telling You" that a body just CAN'"T live without and some wonderful clearance items like some handpainted footstools from India for just $10. It is seldom I go in here and not come across something and think "Oh, I HAVE to get that for _________ for their birthday". Fun t-shirts and clothes, jewellery, bags, books, room decor. Its all fun. this review isn't about this store in particular, it's about their online services. I ordered 2 pairs of shoes on black friday, got the bogo discount no issue there. The next day I received an email saying my order had been canceled... ???? so I call customer service and they just give me a different number to call, I called and was on hold for so long I had to hang up. So I reorder the shoes, I get charged for the second order and then I noticed the next day I never got a confirmation email. I emailed their customer support to see what was going on, waited a day and ever heard back so this morning I called to see and she informed me that my order had been cancelled, AGAIN. I was obviously pretty pissed off and when I asked her to explain to me why my orders kept getting cancelled she told me that if you haven't ordered off of their website that you have to confirm your purchase in an email you're supposedly supposed to get. WHAT?! I've never heard of such a thing. So basically I got charged for two different orders, had both of them cancelled without my consent or knowledge and their customer service rep didn't care at all. I used to really love urban outfitters and have spent a good amount of money there but after this incident I'll for sure be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I love the books and knick knacks here. I've picked up tons of cook books and craft books here, and when they have sales, most of them are under $10. They also have funny novelty items like band aids that say funny things and Jersey Shore bobble heads. It's definitely a place to look for a gag gift if you're doing a white elephant gift exchange. The clothing sucks. The quality is cheap for almost everything I've seen and way overpriced. I went the other day to try to find an extra Christmas gift for my brother and looked at a few sweaters. They started at $40...on "sale". It's not that I think $40 is a lot for a nice sweater. I think that's a great price if the sweater is worth it. I ended up buying one that was similar for around the same price somewhere else, but the quality was much better. If you're a hipster with money to burn, then shop for clothes. Otherwise, come in for the novelty books and stuff. read more

I have no good words to say about this store - and am more frustrated knowing its a corporation that won't feel this negative review. We all know urban outfitters sucks because its a conservative corporation that rips off artists and is comically missing an explanation for the price of their garments vs. quality. Therefore the only point of even buying there is the final sales. I bought a final sale 10$ pair of mesh shorts that had originally been $60 (ha!) It was the Saturday after Fourth of July, there was a ton of people and a ton of (probably) new hires. You know the scape - these stores hire a million people for 9 hours a week to keep them from getting good at their job or getting fulltime benefits. The girl checking me out (couldn't have been older than 16) was friendly and nice, but unfortunately not properly trained or secure with what she was doing. The credit card machines were offline and instead of trying to problem solve the situation my card was run 8 times and not cancelled! UO stole 70 bucks from me and to this day I still haven't seen my money (I have to wait 3-11 business days). Remember when shopping at a corporate entity that if they mess up you will have to wait through the corporate process to get your money back that you had never intended on spending. I LOVE Urban Outfitters. Despite the face that it's ridiculously overpriced, they have some really cute stuff. My issue with this particular store is the horrible sales associates. Maybe I'm showing my "age" a little bit, but can a girl get some help when she's looking for something? Every time I go to this store and I have a question, I either get an "Uh, I dunno" or an "Ask that girl over there." And god forbid you ask where a particular item is located. You'll definitely get a useless finger-point to some non-descript void in the store, where you, no doubt, won't find what it is you're looking for. Awful. What happened to the days where they actually led you to what you're trying to find, or (gasp) even went and found it for you? Smh... read more

I really used to love this store. Now I find it to be a little pricey and harder to find things I like. When I do find items I like, I realize that I can find the same items for cheaper elsewhere. I do like the gaget section, the funny kitchen items, and things for the bedroom. read more

Just like the location in Palm Beach Gardens, this Urban Outfitters is a little small - it is definitely not as large as the Miami Beach location, nor does it have the great selection either. The one great thing about this location, though, is that it is located in the mall and not in some obscure and deserted mall (e.g., Palm Beach Gardens). They had some nice sales here, but again, it was just okay. read more

Beautiful, fun clothing way beyond my price range, but my number one place to go to in Aventura! I love their vinyl selection and their funny books and knick knacks. I recently bought a crocheted tank top here for $29, on sale from $45, and though it was the most expensive shirt I've ever bought, it is gorgeous! I wish I had more money to blow here.... Plus, when they give you your bag after your purchase, it is always a reusable tote. Small things like that make this place fun! read more

Urban outfitters is the main reason I go to Aventura mall; I can always find something In there. My mom is even a fan as of yesterday. The store manager really helped me out with ordering a backpack I've been wanting for months but couldn't find in stores (even at Lenox mall in ATL and in NYC) ; she's awesome. Just experienced the worst customer service ever! I shopped here for years almost every other week needed to put some stuff on hold and they said absolutely not its store policy not to have holds which is bullshit because I always put my stuff on hold Aventura is huge to lag all those bags around this Mecca of a mall is effin suicide! Urban outfitters is more than a trendy store. It's filled with people that love their job. I have never seen unmotivated staff there. They are always willing to assist. They do have every expensive items but that is just the company not the store.m Ironically, I got caught shoplifting from urban outfitters and I will be the first to say it I was embarrassed, and even that's an understatement. The managers were professional and treated me right. What I did was stupid and irrational because I didn't think of what the consequences would be. Anyways, I'm writing this because although the store is relatively expensive, noone should ever steal. It was my first and last time. I hope I can serve as an example.
