Found some seriously cute items in here and tons of stuff was on sale. They had a huge section in the back that had hundreds of items of women's clothing all for 50% or more off. Likewise, a huge store sale of 50% off was going on. I asked about pricing on an item and was told it wasn't part of the sale - later at the hotel I checked online and it was - since we went back to the same area for dinner a few hours later I went in and spoke to a sweet girl who remembered me, easily priced it out for me and even gave me 10% off my first purchase for signing up for an account with them. This store is average. It is organized. My boyfriend wanted to stop in. The men's section is lacking. They have a large selection of women's clothes and accessories. Many of the items like retro and instant cameras, puzzles, fashion jewelry and hair accessories make great gifts. The associates were friendly and asked if we needed assistance shortly after entering. They have a hand sanitizer station set up by the door. read more

I go in here quite often with my daughter. She really loves the clothes they sell. They always have a huge clearance section upstairs where you can find some bargains. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. I don't usually purchase the clothes here. But they offer so much more. If you are looking for a unique gift for a birthday or Christmas (like a stocking stuffer, lots of small things) this is a great place to go. They have a great assortment of throw pillows. They have super cute drinking glasses. They always have interesting planters. I got the cutest sloth planter. I also purchased two happy cat mugs that I planted two jade plants in that are super cute! They have an amazing record/vinyl selection. They have a great selection of small backpacks. I like the store although I'm a bit too old to shop here, lol. I love coming here just to see what young people like and the background music is always very fun. Staff are laidback and friendly. I think it's an important downtown establishment for an artistic city like Savannah! read more

A kitschy store like UO is just what a kitschy place like Savannah needs. Right across from the college of art and design I have no doubt they do good business here. I'm more used to the Urban Outfitters of Charlotte which is squeezed into its shop space and doesn't have quite the layout this joint has. They've taken advantage of Savannah's naturally occurring vintage feel by allowing the jutting floor boards of the second level to continue jutting alongside the newer construction wooden stairs. A little bit of brick veneer to go with and then the sort of modern upgrade of the changing room hall in the back upstairs. They have all you would expect of an Urban Outfitters though. That skirt you once saw a chick wearing that one time in the artsy district (now you know where she got it!), skinny jeans galore in a technicolor variety, Toms (need I say more?), and more floral pattern dresses than you have wallpaper. Even if you don't ride a vintage fixie bike or shoot photos on expired medium format film, at least you can make it look like you do at UO. read more

This UO location is well maintained and kept clean. Even the sales racks are kept in neat order and the dressing rooms aren't full of leftover crap. It's always easy to find what you need, or even some kitschy thing you don't. Most of the people who work here are actually pretty friendly and helpful. Usually UO employees maintain some annoying "too cool for school" vibe but I guess since UO isn't as culturally relevant as it was, say, 8 years ago, that's changed. A transplant from Philly to Savannah 11 years ago, I actually wrote a letter to Urban Outfitters 10 years ago almost demanding they consider downtown Savannah as a location. It made perfect sense...cool historic buildings to re-purpose, a bunch of art school kids with disposable income... Well, for everyone who likes this place -and I perfectly understand why you do -this new corporate sytle Urban Outfitters is a shadow of the awesome lifestyle-home-goods-fashion universe it started out as in West Philly/University City over 2 decades ago. Now, it's a neat place to get a cool t-shirt. If you all knew how it used to be on the Penn (ivy league...not state) campus, you'd weep for the loss of something that was just about perfect. I'm tired of crying for the Disneyfication of all that is cool and interesting. But, it just keeps happening. I'm glad Urban Outfitters is here. I just wish it wasn't a scenester GAP now instead of the neat place it used to be. read more

They're pretty much all the same. Though i do believe this one is on the smaller side. Can typically find some inexpensive wears..some expensive. The only thing i hate about these stores is you have to be careful. When you live in such a small town you're bound to run into someone who is wearing the same shirt. i'm a total girl about that. read more

I've just walked into the store with my mom. I was hoping to buy a pair of shoes ($100) and a Patagonia hat ($30). My mother and I ware ignored by the staff while other (non Hispanic) customers were greeted politely. "Anything I can help you find", I heard one of the staff (who was standing next to me) asking to someone walking in the door. I tried many hats with the hopes to get their attention. We looked at the shoes for a while in the hopes to get someone's attention. I understand that I could have easily asked for someone's help, but the fact that they were SO nice to everyone else and completely ignoring us made my blood boiled. read more

This UO is by far one of my favorites! I ran in recently to avoid getting caught in one of Savannah's famed out-of-the-blue rain storms. They had some pretty rad sales going one, one of which was $18 for any necklace. I found one that I LOVED and wanted, but had to run before I could buy it. I decided to check for it online once I got home, and couldn't find it anywhere. I called the store a few days later, and not only were they going to wave shipping because I couldn't find it online, but they honored the sale price of the necklace when I was in there. How cool is that?! This store definitely has good customer service in its grasps, and is in a great location for SCAD students, visitors, and locals alike. Would definitely go back once I have more time to shop. read more

This by far the worst customer service I have experienced in retail. I came to return an item and was sent away for being exactly 1 minute after closing time. I have worked in retail for 10 years and am appalled by the attitude of the employees (specifically one short black haired young lady with blueish dye). I live 30 minutes away and called the store aprroximately 15 minutes out from the store because I was stuck behind a train on Presidents street. I left to give ample time for the return before closing approximately 7:50. After I was stopped behind the train track I called their phone number I explained the situation and asked if they would have understanding and keep the register open until I showed up which I stated would be no more than 3 minutes past closing time (8:03). I received a vague answer and rushed in order to make it to the store in time. I called again at 7:55 and my call was ignored (suprise!!) I was dropped off approximately 3 blocks away all which I ran. I show up at the store at 8:00 to the doors locked. I knocked and asked if they would take a return to receive a, "sorry our registers are closed." Having worked in retail opening a register or waiting 3 minutes is not asking much considering i spent $150. I will never shop here again you guys suck! For a brand that preaches equality, kindness, and love you represent the exact opposite, all a marketing ploy. If there is a manager that is reading this please contact me (912) 944 9986. read more

I've never had a more negative experience at a store in my life....I walked in and the alarm went off. I hadn't purchased anything from a different store and an employee came up to me and insisted that I must have. When I told her I had not, she told me that she was going to have to search my backpack. I didn't want to make a scene, and I had not stolen anything so I let her. I opened my bag and she proceeded to touch and move all of the content in my bag, going as far as searching through my work apron. I was embarrassed, and left the store immediately. read more

Let's just say this is one of my favorite clothing chains, so of course I had to take a peak and share my wallet with them....lol. I was greeted as I entered, the play was spacious and easy to navigate. I surveyed the place for a while, looking for cute items and great deals.....I found both. UO never lets me down, and the check out was very quick. I hate waiting at a cash register for a long time, but the shopping here was great and the customer service was great too. I've always been a fan of Urban Outfitters, and seeing this store on Broughton brought out the urban hipster in me. It made Savannah seem more like home (my parents just moved here and I was visiting). Anyway, good selection of items, good sale, but just like any other Urban. If I need emergency urban hipster clothing, I'd go back, otherwise, I can get clothing elsewhere. read more

This is a really small store. I really love UO's stuff, but this location didn't have all the things that my home store did and I found it hard to find staff. I am sure they are great, but they must have been short staffed that day....I didn't bother to look much. I grabbed a Christmas banana ornament that was on sale, made my little purchase and left. Hip Hip Hooray! Urban Outfitters has joined the shops on Broughton Street. After moving back here from Atlanta, I worried that shopping wouldn't be the same. It might not be as easy as walking into Lenox mall but the added foot traffic to make it around Broughton is good exercise. This Urban Outfitters is two stories of men's and women's clothing with all the accessories to make the outfit complete. Maybe not as large as the closest store in Charleston but it has the loud music just like all the others. read more

This is our local Outfitters but our family (my girls) do all of their shopping online at urbanoutfitters.com. We usually buy gifts from here as well. They have really good customer support and make returns a very easy process. Sometimes the site is a bit difficult to navigate through because they are always updating it with new items and layouts. I don't think they should do it as often as they do. Anyway, it's a favorite site in our house for unique gifts and clothing for reasonable prices. They also have a great sale section read more

I only spent a few minutes in this store so it is going to be a very quick review. The service was absolutely top notch. My wife sent me on a wild goose chase to find some flats for her to wear on New Years and Urban Outfitters was the only place open. 1 point for Urban Outfitters. Also, my wife wore the shoes all night and they destroyed her feet. I went to return them in the morning and had no issue. 1 more point for Urban Outfitters!! read more

I love Urban Outfitters. It's conveniently located for me since I live downtown, and the employees are VERY nice and helpful. I've been to the store in Atl at the Lenox Square mall and based off of my experience there I was skeptical, but sale signs drew me in and since then I'm glad I decided to give it another chance. Unfortunately it's pretty pricey, but the sales are awesome, and they always have them, even on new items! I was thinking at first it was one of the high end divisions of some clothing store, like Old Navy is to Gap and Banana Republic, but it's actually the low end to Anthropologie, which I love but prefer not to blow my hard earned money on :) They have such a wide variety of items that I always seem to find something new everytime I go in. The guy behind the counter jokingly told me as I checked out today, "Have a great day and see you again next week sometime!" Okay, I'm not that bad, but I do go about once or twice a month now. read more

The best thing about this store is the AMAZING customer service!! Makenzie, Morgan, and Nia are extremely nice and efficient! All three of them worked together and were helpful and kind, providing me with excellent customer service. They assisted me in finding a pair of sunglasses that I had seen online but could not find in the store. Morgan took time to look online and in the UO database, but was unable to find the specific sunglasses that I wanted. She took my phone number and told me they would call to let me know if they were able to find the glasses either online or in their database. I was dismayed, but went on my way. Not even 30 minutes later, I got a phone call from Makenzie saying she found the sunglasses online and I would be able to order them and have them delivered to my house! Since I was still in the area, I went back to the store and ordered them. Nia was so helpful in ordering them for me and even gave me a discount! What a great team! Urban Outfitters in Savannah is very lucky to have these three ladies on their workforce. If I lived in Savannah I would definitely frequent Urban Outfitters more often. Too bad that customer service can't rub off on some of the UO stores here in California. read more
