I ordered two different times a vegetarian pizza and both times I had a piece of chicken meat in a slice. The first time it happened I thought it could be just a mistake and I never even contacted the Restaurant about it; this time I took photos of where the pizza had the chunk of meat in it and a photo of the chicken piece so I know that it's not a mistake and it's intentional. Really good pizza. We had a large group hunting for rats and we followed our noses. They dish up large NY style pizzas, they also do by the slice. Also had a calzone which was very yummy as well. Really thought the staff was excellent, friendly and helpful. The dining room is kind of tiny so it was more of a takeaway place. We still managed to have a good meal together with the 13 of us as they have some high top tables. read more

Miami can officially say it's got good pizza . When out in one of my favorite U.S. places to hang out, Urban Pizza Cafe is my go to downtown for solid pizza and REAL NY sized slices. Right off Biscayne there's plenty of ways to get to it, and it's not hard to find. It's very small inside so not really meant for much seating. There are two or three tables, so be prepared to carry out just in case. But the main attraction is the pie and the pie is on point. Thinner NY style, fresh sauce, toppings and nice mix of crisp but still chewy crust. If you're nearby check them out! read more

This place is a great addition for pizza in the area as the options for pizza are limited. This place is legit good. Their pizzas are in the thinner but loaded size. The sauce is great as it is low acidic but not sweet. Just right. The mozzarella cheese they use is very good also. They have a few tables outside and a table that runs around the wall so you can enjoy your pizza there. Otherwise, you can pickup or have it delivered to you using the most common food apps. This place is great as a stop before a concert or game at the arena nearby. Service has always. Been good and they are pretty quick on making your order. read more

My only disappointment is when I opened my meat Lovers, the Sausage was missing. I did inquire and was told their sausage is pepperoni. The disappointment is they straight up lied as sausage was on their individual slices of pizza. They totally omitted and then lied about the ingredient not authentic. Few things go better with wine than a solid slice or two! After missing out on the latest trendy slice bar a little further up, my fingers did the walking on Yelp Mobile and I found Urban Pizza Cafe. Tucked away in the lobby of one of the downtown condos - and adjacent a metromover station - there sat my oasis for Friday. There are a few inside spots but Urban is geared to takeout. The cashier / manager took my order of pepperoni with extra marinara sauce as well as Hawaiian (of course!) along with iced tea and nutella pannacotta. Both slices were solid, with the right crisp and flavor. Of course, The One with pineapples was my favorite! The panna cotta was soft, creamy and sated my sweet tooth. Since Miami was beginning to be assaulted by the latest cold front, they allowed me to shelter inside while awaiting my rideshare. Oh, and I believe they also make whole pies to order. Ordered a pepperoni medium size, which had 6 smaller slices. But, the portion was perfect. My friend and I had 3 slices each and they were so filling. The cheese was so cheesy and yummy, the pepperoni, not salty just yummy. I wasnt sure if I should get the pepperoni, since I been to other places and it was extremely salty,(yuk) but everything was so tasty, and of course the yummy crust! In the Downtown Miami area my other fav pizza spot is D'Oro pizza bar, & of course Mr01, which it's in Brickell or Wynwood. Urban Pizza is absolutely delicious. I also like the restaurant, reminds my of NY. The staff was very sweet & attentive. I'm so glad I decided to go back it's been a min, but so worth it! read more

So I recently moved from New York and have been missing pizza...almost all the New Yorkers who live down here have said they have yet to find pizza that is just as good as New York pizza. The food was good, however the service was really lacking. I ordered 4 items and 2 out of the 4 were wrong. My margherita pizza was just a cheese pizza and my mixed green salad with avocado and black olives was just lettuce and tomatoes. I called the restaurant and they were of no help. The owner of this place, Matteo is a disrespectful troll. We were talking to him while waiting for our order and my brother jokingly said I wanted a Nutella pizza and I said no and he said good! you shouldn't eat anymore! When I looked at him like wtf?! He brought a piece of cake which he claimed his wife made and yelled it was on the house! The cake was stale and nasty. We ordered 3 espressos and a water and paid about $12! We then we're going to leave and he said we never paid for the water, which he clearly charged us at the beginning, after some back and forth my brother put a $5 bill in his tip jar and we left! Stay away from this place, the pizza looks nasty, it's sitting there and they just reheat it, the owner is a facetious moron who thinks he owns the world and scams people. Stay away. read more
