It's one of those places you don't really plan for, you just stumble into it, and I'm glad I did. When I went, it was empty and the man working was by himself, which made it feel very low key and almost hidden. Sandwhich , the descendant to La Sandwicherie, has been a temple to delicious sandwiches and kept this promise this past week. I stopped at the Brickell location the other night when I needed a simple but filling full course meal. I was able to make a seat at the counter and was promptly attended to. This most recent time, I enjoyed their Roma sandwich, a.k.a. prosciutto and mozzarella on a lightly toasted baguette. A. specifically mentioned lately toasted because the kitchen stuff had great attention to detail in not having neither the plain bread nor a burnt piece either. The lettuce, tomato and yellow peppers tasted fresh, and I was given extra balsamic vinegar. As far as sweets, you're all right with any of their smoothies, like the acai one I enjoyed. A good sandwich but doesn't quite live up to the hype for me. What I will say that I love is just how fun and creative their veggie sandwiches are. Like mango, avocado, and cheese in a sandwich? Are you kidding what a concept! The issue is the execution. They load it up with lots of the more affordable ingredients like lettuce, tomato, etc. and are a little bit skimpy on the ingredients that make the sandwich fun. If they can fix this, the sandwiches are creative and they use nice ingredients, so it would make for a great sandwich. We did takeout and it was ready when expected. Main gripe with service was that they selected the "20% tip" option for us on our to-go order and acted like they hoped we wouldn't notice. I found this odd. read more

We had dietary restrictions, and she made it safe for all! Myriam even went out of her way to source a lactose-free birthday cake. The old lady working on the evening of January 14th was extremely rude and charged us the incorrect sandwiches and gave us the wrong sandwich and then gave attitude when we nicely asked her to change the sandwich to the correct order. We tried to approach the situation in a nice manner despite the mistake and were met with an extremely unpleasant attitude from the old lady. The service was terrible and we were charged $20 per sandwich. We gen I ased for tomatoes the staff refused to help me and gave attitude. I asked if gratuity is included and the girl said "she didnt know" when 10% was included as a late night fee.
