Denny's Manukau doesn't serve amazing food and there can be a massive wait if you don't get there…read moreearly, but I just don't seem to stay away. It's just that place that you go to where you know the food will good and it'll fill you up. You can order breakfast whenever you like and its open 24 hours- maximum convenience! The service here is quite average- its usually pretty busy here so I can understand the staff are sometimes running around in a frenzy- so don't expect killer service. It's always good coming in a group as you can always amuse yourselves to pass the time. I was here a few nights ago with a friend and even though we had to wait ten minutes for a table (it was packed), our food was in front of us after 10-15 minutes. I ordered the surf and turf- this is my favourite main here because you get everything- steak with special sauce and shrimp, vegetables and fries. Their buffalo wings are also excellent! I really couldn't fault these. Ever. As far as dessert goes, an oreo sundae is a must. That sundae is great and for it's price, you can't get much better anywhere else. If you've got a family with a few children and you're looking for an inexpensive meal, I'd try Denny's. They accommodate for a big groups and if a child dines with a paying adult, they eat for free from the kids menu. You really can't get better value than that!

Firstly the cinnamon doughnuts smelt strongly like ketchup and tasted of it too idk if make dogs or burgers but should never taste like condiments or meat period, secondly my chocolate custard stuffed ones tasted sour which is fkd up custard should not be sour. However the biscoff shake tasted fine but if thats a large i was ripped off my service was long awaited but uber driver dropped off accordingly overall my rate for manukau is 4 out of 10. Oviously your lacking in hygiene standards and thats a big fat no in fast food chain. I advice to retrain everyday to emphasize quality and presentation especially if lack in quantity over value and i was sooo excited when my love got me this too.

IMAGINE... 1 dozen HOT Original Glazed Doughnuts…read more A Chocolate, Vanilla or Caramel Thickshake. An Apple Crumble Doughnut filled with Custard. A Chocolate Iced Doughnut with Sprinkles. Doughnuts which look and taste like our iconic Vanilla Slice. A Choc Honeycomb Shake with Whipped Cream and Chocolate Sauce. Kookies N Kreme Doughnuts. An Original Glazed Shake with Whipped Cream and a Mini Doughnut. If any of the above salivates your tastebuds, then you will love the new arrival of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, which landed in New Zealand earlier this year! A few months' ago, I was invited to the media launch of the new Krispy Kreme store in Manukau. This world-famous doughnut and coffee chain first opened in 1937, and the brand is still going strong, having celebrated its 80th birthday last year (on 13 July). There are over 1,000 stores around the world - with New Zealand now in the mix, 35 countries selling these divine doughnuts! Walking into Krispy Kreme, the store is absolutely HUGE! To the left, you can see the full production line through glass windows. Rows and rows of doughnuts moving along the conveyor belt... I could literally stand here gawking for hours! There is also plenty of seating (booths and tables), the decor is super cool, and of course, the doughnuts are all colourfully decorated on display for you to buy. There are 13 doughnut flavours to choose from, such as Original Glazed, Caramel Iced, Vanilla Slice, Apple Custard Crumble, Kookies N Kreme, Tiramisu and Strawberry Jam. Doughnuts range from $3 to $3.50 and if you get a box (say 4, 12 or 24), the price is cheaper per doughnut. Coffee, Milkshakes and Thickshakes are on the menu too, but also... KREME SHAKES. We were lucky enough to try two of them last Friday - Choc Honeycomb, topped with whipped cream, honeycomb and swirls of chocolate sauce, and my favourite - the Original Glazed Kreme Shake, topped with whipped cream and a mini glazed doughnut. The best part? It tastes EXACTLY like an Original Glazed Doughnut... in liquid form. Swoon. I am so excited about Krispy Kreme. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

So good in fact, that I had to have dessert with my breakfast (and I would totally recommend the season fruits with mango sorbet and nut brittle to all).

This place is seriously one of Auckland's hidden gems. The name "Country Cafe" does it no favours. We turned up on a stunning spring Friday, and discovered the most gorgeous country garden setting, complete with lake - St Margarets is apparently such a popular wedding venue during the summer months that Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays are mostly fully booked. I can see why. Entranced by the scenery, we sat down & got just as engrossed in the menu! A delicious selection of salads & more substantial main dishes made it really difficult to choose. We opted for the Chargrilled Smoked Chicken & Candied Walnut Salad with potato & bacon & dressed with maple aioli, as well as the Oriental Sticky Slow-Cooked Pork Belly Sandwich with salad & spiced pineapple chutney. I learnt a while ago never to go past pork belly on a menu, and I haven't been disappointed yet. Both meals were stunning - visually gorgeous & utterly delicious. Well worth the drive, and with such picturesque surroundings to walk off your meal, you can bet I'll be making the drive again.
