They are professional, kind and timely. My husband and I have been there multiple times and never had to wait too long.

I'm deeply disappointed by the recent changes at Piedmont Urgent Care Cartersville, and I want to…read moreshare my experience in case it helps others. During my visit on 03/25/2026, I noticed that the front desk staff now bear much of the burden for explaining confusing new billing practices -- which, frankly, isn't fair to them or to patients. If the facility has switched to a new NPI number or changed how they bill insurance, that should be made clear before the appointment, not after. My insurance (Blue Cross Blue Shield IBX) listed this location as in-network, with coverage at 80/20, but suddenly the bill came through under "Well Street," which is out-of-network for me and dropped my coverage to 60/40. For seniors like myself, that's a significant financial hit that we aren't prepared for, especially when we go out of our way to find in-network care. To make matters worse, patients are now required to put a credit card on file or they won't be seen. This feels less like healthcare and more like a trap -- you arrive expecting coverage and clarity, but end up caught off guard by expensive changes and policies that weren't disclosed in advance. I hope the management reconsiders these practices and starts treating their patients with the transparency and respect we deserve.

If their communication was better, and times that were given were ACCURATE, I would have taken my niece else where! Oh, and did I mention that they were RUDE, and CARELESS towards their patients?! WORSE establishment EVER! My advice to those employed at Piedmont Urgent Care in Cartersville Ga, if you don't like your job or profession, FIND A NEW ONE!

I've been coming to this location since moving to Cartersville in 2023. Back then, I had Cigna…read moreinsurance, and now I'm on Blue Cross Blue Shield IBX. Every time I need care, I make sure to check with my insurance first--just to confirm the facility and provider are actually in-network. In January 2026, I visited as usual. When I returned in May for a sinus infection, I paid my $50 copay. This time, though, the front desk told me I had to put a credit card on file. I didn't think much of it--until I saw a $299 charge hit my card. I called the number listed in my Piedmont Wallet and got bounced from one department to another: first the main billing, then corporate billing, then Urgent Care billing. Eventually, someone explained that their billing policies had changed, and while the facility might be in-network, the provider you see that day might not be. I reached out to Blue Cross Blue Shield, who opened two disputes for the out-of-network charges. I'm still waiting to see how that shakes out. In the meantime, I won't go back to any medical office that requires a credit card on file--it feels like handing over a blank check. If they overcharge or make a mistake, you're left fighting for a refund. It's wild that figuring out which providers are actually in-network has basically become a full-time job. With how expensive health care and insurance have become, you'd think things would be simpler--not more complicated.

From the very beginning, Dr. Adodo stepped in with compassion, professionalism, and genuine care. He went above and beyond to ensure my mom received the best possible care. What truly stood out was his advocacy for her. After she had a less-than-positive experience with the on-call surgeon, Dr. Adodo listened to her concerns and took them seriously. He worked diligently to arrange for a different surgeon (someone she felt comfortable with) and made sure she was confident and at ease before moving forward. That surgeon ended up being absolutely amazing, and we are so grateful. Dr. Adodo's dedication, communication, and willingness to advocate for his patient made all the difference during a very stressful time. He treated my mom with respect, kindness, and attentiveness every step of the way. We are incredibly thankful for him and his entire team.
