I went there 12/23 at around 1030 am. There were 6 people ahead of me. The wait was not long. I found the people taking care of me listened and helped me. I forgot their names and don't know if they were PA's or doctors but they were very knowlegable of the situation. I would not hesitate to go there again. They get you in and out fast. read more

Dr. Rohit was amazing!!! Too bad he doesn't do primary care. He spent more time with me than the PA at my PCPs office yesterday and was extremely thorough and a good listener. It was a long wait with a full lobby on a holiday weekend but probably shorter than if I went to EDU or emergency room. Totally worth the time and money. I will elaborate more in detail when I am feeling better. read more

So today was my first experience going to this place because of a job related incident, when I arrived place was not opened yet, the counter lady was at the combination locked door that couldn't open it, then another lady came in and they discussed that the counter lady has been waiting for 45 mins, then they figured out how to open it. While I'm still standing in doorway waiting for them to set up, another lady and a guy with no hair passed by me and went in. I waited beyond patiently thinking I'd be called when they were set, minutes after a sister and brother passed by me and into the office I wasn't aware the door was unlocked. I followed behind and waiting inline. The counter lady seriously didn't seem like she had any idea of paperwork and role, the people infront of me were getting irritated, they were just there for a COVID test, the counter lady asked for the ids 2x, kept making copy after copy going back and forth staring at desk area, after about 30 mins the people before me got irritated and left. I was up next and gave ID and filled papers say in exam room then the counter lady came in and did my vitals?? Then a female (nurse) came in expressing concern on my condition examined then asked for another opinion, verdict was decided and I was sent on my way. I think that counter lady was acting the way she was because her herself had to wait for some time to be let into this place. read more

Try urgent pathetic. I escorted a friend who is legally blind to this location for a pre op series of tests. The place looks drab and is dimly lit inside. The staff seemed very indifferent. When I came back to pick him up he told me that they had him sitting there for 15 minutes past his scheduled appt time. He had to make his way up to the front desk and remind them that he was still waiting. When I was in there the 3 women behind the desk were busy watching Rachel Ray on the big flat screen on the wall. When I came back they were watching The View. This place really sucks. Do not bring your loved ones there. Surgery was originally scheduled for 10/1/13 at 6:00AM at Yale New Haven. The results of the examination were faxed to my surgeon's office on 9/30 which was the day before the scheduled procedure. A little late, don't you think? Normally results of pre op exams are faxed to the surgeon two weeks prior to surgery. The pre op exam was done Sept 10, 2013 3 weeks before surgery which gave Urgent Care at least a week to fax the results in the proper time frame. My friend's surgeon's office staff pestered Urgent Care for a week and a half or so to fax the results of the blood work. Urgent Care's excuse was that they could not get it signed off by the supervising doctor. Obviously my friend will never go into an Urgent Care facility in the future. Urgent Care seems to have no problem opening more facilities in New Haven and Fairfield counties but does seem to have a real problem with being professional, providing capable care of their patients. When we noticed that the staff was allowed to watch Rachel Ray and The View during business hours it should have been a red flag to walk out. People beware of Urgent Care. read more

Dr. Sharma is one of the worst Doctor I have ever met. We discussed medications that she was going to prescribe while I was in the facility, and when I get to pharmacist, I found the prescription was something I could get over the counter medication that I already told her I tried and it was not working. She prescribed medication without discussing with patients, which it a violation of code of ethics. This may be acceptable in India but certanly not in United States of America. She should not be practicing medicine. Very Incompetent physician. The staffs here were so nice. read more

No other urgent care center would take me to drain a really painful Bartholin's gland abscess, when I couldn't get an appt at an ob/gyn for the next two weeks. I came in at 6:00 and by 6:30 was in an exam room. The staff here were so supportive and wonderful throughout the procedure, then the doctor prescribed me strong antibiotics to make sure I wouldn't have a recurrence. He took the time to give me advice about how to avoid side-effects with the antibiotics, and will meet with me again tomorrow and in a week to make sure I don't have anything still lingering. I feel 1000x better now than when I walked in through the door. Just be aware they don't take checks read more

Just no. I came here to simply get a prescription filled for a week until I was able to see my doctor. The Dr (or PA?) saw me in the lobby for about 30 seconds and they charged me $300+ as a new patient. Seriously? Most expensive walk-in ever. read more

5 stars for the staff and nurse, zero for the Dr. Had an ear ache on a Saturday 7/25. Have had very good evperience in the past so went to Urgent Care Orange. As always, the front office staff and nurse were exceptional. Very courteous friendly and professional. Had to wait in the exam room for 20 minutes, but that can happen in any Dr. office. My big problem was with the Dr. on duty. She looked in both ears said "I'll give you some ear drops" and was on her way out the door. I had to stop and ask her what was the problem, if it was infected and what the ear drops were. Each time she gave me a one or two word answer and was obviously in a big hurry to get out and move on. I'm 60 years old and have never had such an experience. However busy they may be she should at least let the patient know what's wrong and what she's prescribed without having to be repeatedly asked. They made a followup app but. will go to my own Dr as I don't trust her to spend more than 2 minutes or tell me how I am. read more

I used their services 2 times (once for a sprained ankle and once for a booster shot), and brought my daughter here 3 or 4 times for various reasons when her pediatrician wasn't available. Came in complaining of coughing, chest congestion and shortness of breath. Waited 2.5 hours only to get called into the back with the patient care tech. Nice but seemed like he had no idea what he was doing. Nothing worked in the office. Took my temp, and blood pressure. But not even a quick chest check with the stethoscope. After waiting an extra 15min in the room I finally requested my refund of 75$ back. Never saw the doctor unfortunately. Never again read more

Myself and My husband went and the front desk staff was really pleasant and the medical assistant was on point and friendly and laughed at all our jokes even while I was in pain and trying not to be so serious while I was in pain. My husband really like the way the two doctors collabrated with each other. the first doctor went to get a second opinion of the other doctor and he came back with a solution. As stubborn as I was they still work with me. Prescribe medicine and a fllwp. Urgent care had more of an answer per my husband and a solution than the current primary doctor I currently am enrolled with. read more

Tried to bring my sick husband here tonight. Called to be sure they were available and the receptionist told me they were open until six and to try and get there as soon as possible. I checked with my husband, jumped in the car and called to let them know we were on our way. Arrived at 6:03 to locked doors and not a car in sight. If this is how they treat patients who need care, I would certainly look elsewhere for urgent medical care for your loved one. read more

I have visited this Urgent Care a few times, and I have always had a pleasant experience. The staff is friendly, the facility is clean, and the doctors are very professional. I have also used the chiropractor practice available on site, and I've had great relief from my back pain! I highly recommend this place! read more

I couldn't take a sputum sample in, but a friend said he would take it for me. I didn't want to pull him out of work, but he insisted. So to make sure he wouldn't be turned away or made to wait excessively, I called this Urgent Care. I'm glad I did. You would have thought I was speaking a foreign language. And she, Veronica, hung on me. I called back and Veronica couldn't have been nicer. Seemed like got a different girl. She told me that they hadn't received the requisition. I immediately called my doctors office back and they said they would check the girl who faxes them and call the Urgent Care to let them know it was being sent. Again I called Urgent Care and spoke to Veronica, who said she got the call from the doctors office and knew the req was coming and would accept the sample. I went to the Urgent Care Center in Orange with symptoms of a rash. I saw a PA and his name was Matthew Dolan. He gave a prescription and its a good thing I didnt have it filled! I went home and looked it up and it was for high blood pressure, something unrelated to what I was there for!! I cannot believe what a huge mistake was made that could of cost me my life if I had taken it as prescribed at 3 times daily!!!!! I went back and they didnt even apologize! I am taking further action so this never happens to anyone again. read more

Been to the urgent care in Orange multiple times and had a great experience every time. The staff at the front desk is always very nice and willing to help. The establishment is kept very clean and stocked with all the materials needed for the given situation. Wait times are minimal and they even made me an appointment to see the gastroenterologist. The doctors are great; really couldn't ask for a better team of people!!! read more
