DO NOT GO HERE FOR DOT CARD!!!! This is the absolute worst place to get a DOT medical card. The blood pressure machine is dangerously inaccurate. The nurse, doctor and front staff do not communicate. They test blood pressure when your bladder is full. They stick you in a tiny exam room for 30+ minutes to wait for the provider to finish the exam without any explanationand treat you like livestock. This is by far the absolute worst experience I've ever had getting a dot card in my life. I left after waiting a ridiculous amount of time in the tiny cramped room. Beware! I brought a family member here for an immigration appointment, and despite calling multiple times beforehand, we were never informed about additional costs for the visit. 1. Upon arrival, we were told there would be an extra fee for labs, or we could choose to handle them on our own. This critical information should have been communicated beforehand, especially since other clinics we contacted offered the same pricing but included the labs. The only reason we chose this clinic was the availability for walk-in. 2. My family member was unwell during the visit, and when I asked the doctor to examine her, I was told it would require a separate appointment (additional cost). All they did was check her vitals and provide a lab slip--nothing else. After leaving, I emailed the address they provided (on 11/22/2024) to ask about their refund policy since we decided not to proceed with labs or have them complete the paperwork. As of today, I have not received any response. I hope someone sees this review and provides clarification and take into consideration that only 1/2 the service was delivered. Save your time and money! For those navigating the immigration process, resources are often limited. It's disheartening that a clinic approved as a civil surgeon would take advantage of this situation through unclear processes and unnecessary fees. I went to this place on 01/14/25 to complete my required yearly DOT physical/ med cert and the idiots working in there have no idea how to measure a blood pressure properly or weight. The machine kept breaking down saying error, then giving some bogus high number. I told him to get it manually and he did it wrong. I'm a nurse and know how it should be done. The Doctor failed me because of their faulty equipment and uneducated staff working there. The tech told me I weighed 223 when it's actually 245. I went to another clinic with real nurses working and my blood pressure and weight was taken correctly and I passed and got my Med card. DO NOT GO HERE ! read more

I've got a result after 6 weeks for a simple drug test after giving my urine sample. It was a pre-employment test. Did I get a job with great benefits that was supposed to be a game changer in my career? Of course not. I gave a sample on Nov 20, 2020. On Nov 30th I went there to see why I was waiting such a long time. They told me the result is still not in and I would receive a call when it's ready. And that it never takes over a month. Since I never had this kind of test before, I was clueless about the whole thing. On Jan 4th 2021, Monday, I went there, and a very nice girl printed out my result on a spot and apologized. I was just relieved it's finally ready. I went back to my car and then I saw the result was actually ready on Nov 24th. The incompetent staff really messed it up on Nov 30, that Monday when I went there to check on my test. Not nice to play with someone's life like this, especially in times like these. read more

worst quality care that you can ever receive from an urgent care. during my first visit at the office the wait was extremely long (over 2 hours) but i guess that can be expected lol. there's a sign in the office that states that you shouldn't have to wait more than 30 min but they are definitely some mf liars. I had a check up, as i was experiencing something and it was finally time to be seen. waited in the private room for the doctor just for him to talk to me for 90 seconds and said he's gonna prescribe me medicine. I was in the midst of still talking and trying to explain what i have been experiencing and had questions and this "doctor" was tryna leave so quickly and was even talking to me through the crack of the door as i was still trying to explain my situation. SOOO freaking RUDDDE. never had that before. after i was told do some lab work and other tests, i took the time off for a follow up just for them to all of a sudden not accept my insurance. incompetent people because i contacted the insurance company and was informed they are indeed still in network as well on their website and app states the same. if you love yourself, don't go here. place is dirty as hell too. no one deep cleans or sanitizes it and it can be clearly seen the moment you walk in. 0 stars if it was possible. place needs to be reported to the department of health. read more

My first doctor dr.Ciara was really nice and listened to all my concerns and got me the tests I needed (I have absolutely no problem with her and thank her for actually listening to me and being so nice). I went back to review my test results (which first of all can 100% be done over the phone as other doctor offices do but no you have to go back for each test results you get done and pay office visit each time). I saw a new dr. Mohammed Bawany (Ciara was not there that day). The first thing he asked me is what I studied in school- like why does that even matter and is very unprofessional. Then he tells me I'm gonna give you the results (hands me the paper) and says he's gonna leave and come back and I have to tell him the results. Im already in a stressful situation not knowing what's going on with me and then you are acting like a teacher and as if I am in school. Again very unprofessional and brought more stress to the situation than needed. After that he wanted me to do another pee test (I've already had 3 done previously with one done on my last appointment and all were negative) so there was no need (it's $20 extra just for a pee test). He also scripted me a h pylori test which I cannot take because I have been on antibiotics and he knows this and still wrote it out for me and did not even tell me that this is something I cannot take until being off antibiotics for 2-4 weeks. I finished my appointment and then had to pay $90 which on my first appointment I payed $75. They don't take Molina insurance so I have to pay out of pocket which I'm okay with but the price difference didn't make sense so I asked and the receptionist told me it depends on the doctor some will give you a discount. This place is very money hungry and will try to make extra money off you and some doctors are unprofessional SO BEWARE! read more

I went in to get approval to apply for an MMJ card. I sent in all paperwork available, had additional documentation of conditions sent in, and it's now been two full weeks. I've called a dozen times and the doctor still has not submitted my info so that I can apply. I keep being told that he will, but he just hasn't done so yet. It feels like he just doesn't want to do it. How long could it possibly take?! I know a few ppl who've gone elsewhere and received their email the same day! Avoid this place if you can, the doctor does not seem to care about his patients. Update: I was denied, but I had to call in to discover that I was being denied. They didn't want to call me, I guess. This It's by far one of the best clinics i have ever been to. I live in celebration and their beautiful, high-rise, and its horrible. Nurses are rude, doctors rush you in and out you collect payment. I was in an accident near my work on semoran. I ended up at the golden road urgent care. The area seamed a little runned down and the location was in a shopping plaza. I walked 2 very welcoming nurse who sincerly listen to what happened. I waited about 20 minutes then was taken in. The doctor was extremely friendly and knowledgable. He took his time to listen and explain. Honestly one of the best medical experience i have had with 20 years in Florida. No, it dust have fancy wall paintings, fish tanks or giant flat screens but it surpasses the other places that do. Clean, friendly and helpful. Dirty, disgusting office. A friend of mine from Canada was visiting recently and developed an infected cyst on his back. Unfortunately, he didn't have travel insurance so I took him to urgent med. They charged $115 for the office visit which, though deplorable, is reasonable given he didn't have insurance. HOWEVER, the attending "physician" then said my friend would have to get three shots of clindamycin on successive days. This would also involve two extra office visits at another $115 each. Price of each clindamycin shot: $125 for the first one and $85 each for the second and third. ( This even though clindamycin is clearly a generic.... ) Had my friend taken advantage of this "offer", total price would have been $625 and the "doctor" wouldn't even lance the cyst!!! This "physician" could barely speak english but he clearly had graft on his mind. In the future, though it may be more expensive, centra care would get my business. Folks- please do NOT waste your time or hard earned dollars here. I gave the them my insurance card and they lied to me by saying they excepted my health insurance. After paying a $50 co-pay they billed me $175! I do not pay $300 a month for health insurance to be lied to and receive $175 bill in the mail. Hard lesson learned on me part. Call your health insurance first, before going into any urgent care. Also, the entire office was looked dirty. read more
