She acknowledged this was not the first time expired products had been sold and mentioned they are working on improving their system -- which is concerning in itself. When I asked if we could review the purchase records, Christina declined, initially claiming that records older than two months are deleted. When I pointed out that my purchase was only from last month, the reason shifted -- she could now locate the timeframe but said the records were no longer accessible because the transaction was processed under a former employee. Apparently when staff leave, their sales history becomes unreachable. I find that very hard to believe. I am not writing this over $15. What I cannot overlook is the dismissive treatment and the series of inconsistent excuses that felt designed to get me out of the store without any real resolution. I am a loyal customer who visits Bangkok Asian Market regularly and spends significantly on each trip (since opening in 2023). That loyalty deserved at minimum honesty and a genuine effort to help. I hope management takes this seriously, it is not okay to sell expired food, it is not okay to be treated this way, and it is not okay to be told to just dump the products with no real resolution. People work hard for their money. I understand mistakes happen but this can be made right in many other ways. Customers deserve better.
