Update - 5/2026 - WITHDRAWALS: They took 7-8 days to give me a medicine refill. I went through terrible withdrawals. I called multiple times and they said they were working on it. What makes it worse is that the pharmacists are unfriendly and cold. Update - PAIN: I had a minimally invasive procedure done. It was the WORST pain I've ever felt. I made an appointment with Dr. Sun at Urology Partners of North Texas specifically because his practice advertises expertise in erectile dysfunction and male sexual health. I've dealt with ED since I was a young man and hoped to finally have someone investigate why. Unfortunately, my experience felt extremely rushed. Dr. Sun spent approximately 10 minutes with me, blood was drawn, and afterward I received an email essentially saying my results were normal. That was the extent of the evaluation. My disappointment isn't that I wasn't diagnosed with low testosterone or prescribed a particular treatment. I wanted a physician interested in figuring out why I've experienced ED for decades. Normal labs don't explain the underlying problem. For something this personal and impactful to quality of life and a marriage, I expected a discussion of my history, results, possible causes, and next steps. Instead, I felt processed through the office rather than individually evaluated. read more

I don't have a problem with the doctors. The problem is with the incompetent office staff throughout the company. It is almost impossible to get a message to a doctor by phone. You cannot call directly to the office location that you visited. You can only call a main number and be told that a message will be relayed to the doctor. It never is. Also the billing department is a joke. My last two statements have included a charge that was already paid more than two months ago. And when you call the billing department to complain, you get someone who can hardly speak english. Pathetic. read more

I would never recommend this office to anyone. When I saw the doctor, he was excellent in person, but he never called in my prescription. It is now three months later and I am still leaving messages asking for my prescription. I finally asked to speak with an office manager and I have left numerous messages with no word from the office manager. I was told at one point they have no record of me leaving any messages and no record of needing a prescription. I now have no option but to start all over with a new doctor just to get the medication I need. read more

No teaching provided in catheter care, uti symptoms, or pain meds given for cancer pts - unnecessary cystoscope procedures repeated times, their refusal to "give up" is not a gift, but a pain for those in their care. Sometimes it's okay to let the cancer win when fighting it causes too much pain for the patient. Always deferred to oncologist who ironically deferred back to him. Only pcp was willing to help rx meds. read more

Doctor Applewhite requested MRI of prostrate on 8/26/2025. Today 9/2/2025 still have not got referral for MRI. Made 3 calles to office about issue. Ask for supervisor 3rd time. All I get is them saying they will get referral ordered. Waiting 2 more days before I change doctor and office. read more

They should change their name to McUrology. This may very well be the worst medical service model ever. You can never actually call the office that you were seen at, you have to call an "agent".(Apparently, according to recording, these agents are in some perpetual/never-ending training which is why you have to listen to hold music.) The when you do get someone to answer, and answer 20 questions, they tell you someone will contact you (when? who knows). So you end up calling back again and repeat the process. The Imaging service sent the final MRI results to McUrology yesterday and I have yet to have anyone contact me with the results at the end of the next day. I know it is the end of the next day, because the "agent" also could not reach anyone at the office; but, she will "leave a message" and someone "should" contact me "in the next 24-48 hours". Let me ask you something....doctor recommends an MRI for elevated PSA after your initial visit, prostate exam and retesting of PSA, wouldn't you want those results as soon as they are available? If you are looking for professional Urology service, look elsewhere. I won't even mention the "cat fight" for the whole waiting room to enjoy, between the 2 receptionists during my office visit. But we were all guys and there was a TV, so the drama was wasted on us. Just wish that they were as concerned about providing timely eman results as I am anxious to find out the results. I also had to call them to get my PSA retest results, I guess they were going to hold that information as well. And the HealtheLife app is useless, unless you want to refresh your memory as to what height and weight you filled in on their forms. Dr. Xavier is very personable and just overall a great doctor with a "good people" vibe. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and loves what he does. He does not rush you. He thoroughly explains everything in layman terms and listens and answers your questions. My procedure went well and I am doing great post-op. I would absolutely recommend him. read more

This place cracks me up; I bring my Dad here regularly and I feel like these people make these elderly people wait in line way longer than they need to. They are also super concerned about lunch times and definitely leave patients hanging and questioning what's next. Get a good Manager in there to turn it around. This company worked long and hard to maintain a contract with BCBS except they apparently don't understand how to submit simple annual prescription renewals to BCBS. Not sure if it's laziness, complacency or incompetence. As is typical, the doctors are fairly good when you have an appointment but they forget how to use a phone or email or submit critical information to the insurance company. I would avoid this company. Pick someone else. Odds are, you'll have better luck somewhere else. read more

Had an RX refilled on Cooper Street. Was always told by the Pharmacy that this was the cheapest place to get it. This time it was 40% higher than last time. The rude male pharmacist or helper was rude and not accomodating for an explanation. Will never get an RX there again. read more

Was recommended Urology Partners from my hospital when they told me of possible cancer. Dr. Bevan-Thomas was very straightforward with my condition and procedure. He seemed to genuinely care for my health and condition. They took good care of me and got me in very quick for my surgery. I'm happy also not having insurance that they still took good care of me and didn't brush my situation aside. The office, staff and wait times were also good. Calling and receiving phone calls was also a pleasant. I never had a hard time getting ahold of anyone. They actually called me quite a bit regarding appointments and just to check up on me after surgery. Which went well. I highly recommend Urology Partners. read more

Horrible business office. I have tried to call numerous times, but immediately put on hold. After long wait message comes on saying I can leave my phone number and not lose my place in line. Receive callback 2 or 3 days later when I am out doing business. They leave message to call back, and when I do, the same thing happens. Worse, I have questions about my bill. When I finally get through to someone, I discover they are in Denver. The person says she totally understood my concern but didn't know the answer, but would either get back with me or have one of the supervisors research it and reply. No response. When I go to next appointment, I am very frustrated because I went to office in Grapevine area and found that the doctor was in Arlington office. I tell the person in the office that I have been very frustrated with the company and, among other things, had no idea if my questions about my bill had been resolved and wanted to know what I owed. She looked my account up and said there was no balance due. Zero. Today, April 24 2023, I received a bill for almost $7,000! The bill that I had previously received was several hundred dollars. Have read similar reviews and talked to others who had similar experiences. The doctors were fine, but the aggravation of dealing with this type of business is leading me to seek physicians elsewhere. read more

This is a difficult rating to give, as I have only had 1 appointment and want to be fair. So, please take that into consideration. This is a huge business with modern, clean environment. Seems to be run more like a smaller hospital than a doctor's office. I was referred here because my PSA numbers had doubled (but still not really that high). I told the Dr that I had just recovered from a UTI, knowing that UTI's have been known to raise the PSA. I was told that a UTI could not raise the PSA numbers to that extent. After about a 10 minute exam, I was told to schedule a biopsy. I personally didn't trust the PSA numbers (because of the UTI). I would have expected the Dr to retake the PSA, before moving forward with a Biopsy ($$$). As a result, I had my PSA numbers retested on my own. Sure enough, the numbers had dropped back to normal levels and I cancelled the Biopsy (even though they still wanted to go forward with it). Also, I was later billed the difference from allowed the insurance rate. That kind of practice always leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Urology Partners may or may not have a top notch staff. My lack of expertise in this are does not allow me to judge. I can only go by how I felt (intuition), which was more of means of income to them than a patient. I will be looking for a different location in the future. read more

What a terrible practice. Want to speak to someone? No problem. Just call and wait on hold for 45 minutes. I had my exam with Dr. Bevan Thomas and during the whole thing, he seemed like he was somewhere else. The whole thing was rushed and I felt like he couldn't care less about my situation. I went and had an ultrasound done. I was told I would receive a call about the results. So I waited... and waited... and waited. Then I waited some more. After 3 weeks I called to ask about the test results. They sent me a message on their portal with a very vague response. So I called them several times to inquiry about how exactly to interpret the results I was given. I left voicemails and spoke with several people who would "definitely call me back". Unsurprisingly, they did not. read more

Dr. Chan is the WORST Dr EVER seen. He literally did NOT do one single thing to diagnose my son's Erectile Dysfunction, Penis & Testicular Shrinkage. NO blood test. NO hormone test. NO dopler/CIS test. NOTHING. Worst of all, did not seem to have ANY idea how to diagnose ED. Insisted it was "in his head" (this is a now known permanent side effect of the acne drug Accutane aka Isotreinoin, sort of like Propecia damage. Look it up! The MHRA in the UK is right now conducting inquiries into this issue). Look, I know treatments do not really work for this type of drug damage, I have spend countless hours doing advanced research. but we wanted AT LEAST an official diagnosis! Tests! A baseline! Blood Work. Something.. He told my son it was in his head. Insisted it was. Acted like there was no doctor that he even knew of that could diagnose ED, vaguely suggested UT. Said that Urologist do that..Um, HE. IS. A. Urologist. His website claims that he listens, he did not. He did 100% opposite of his mission statement on his website. He pretty much shut down ALL concerns when my son walked in. Medical care is expensive. I had to pay money I do not have for my son to be dismissed. My son left in angry tears. I will be calling the Medical Board to make a complaint, the BBB, my insurance company and any and all websites. This is literally the WORST DOCTOR I HAVE EVER HEARD OF. I would give negative stars if I could..He did NOTHING. If you want a Dr that G A F, stay away. Seriously.. read more

Having a larger prostate, Dr. Bevin-Thomas told me that the best way to achieve results I was looking for was with a Robotic Simple Prostatectomy. Once I rationalized that returning to a "normal" life FAR outweighed the hassle of a RSP and wearing a catheter for a week, I scheduled the surgery. I came in to ask about a prostate procedure that I had seen in an ad. After consultation and examination, Dr. B-T recommended a different procedure that he felt would be much more appropriate for my particular situation. We went with that procedure. He told me in advance that full recovery would take as long as three months. He was right! Along the way, whenever my anxiety levels went up because I didn't think I was making any progress, he was good to reassure me and remind me that this would be a distance run, not a sprint. That's exactly how it worked out and, for me, a little extra time was a great trade-off for avoiding a more invasive procedure. read more

You would think that when you have something wrong specifically with bladder that a urologist would be able to diagnose and give you the info back because it could be something serious and damaging to your health, but that wasn't the case here. They have horrible service and when they say they will call you back they don't. You constantly have to be asking if they got your labs in and if something wrong. The doctor speaks to patients very unprofessionally and just doesn't give proper help or make the environment comfortable. I would much rather go to a care now or 24 hour clinic seeing how unprofessional and under qualified this place seems to be. There doesn't seem to be any type of urgency when it comes to seeing what is wrong with the patient which should be any clinics number one priority. I went in thinking I had a bladder stone but, after an examination I was told I had bladder cancer. Once I was diagnosed with bladder cancer I had a million questions. Dr. Bevin-Thomas was very straight with me on the treatment options and possibilities. His staff helped me through each phase of the treatments and explained my options and what to expect during and after each treatment. When I first found out, I read a lot on the internet about what to expect. I took all of these questions with me and they were happy to answer them. He chose BCG treatments for my care. He and his staff explained all the possible side effects and outcomes by using this course of treatment. Along with precautions and personal care I would need to take. Their willingness to explain everything to me has helped me to get through this. I'm very grateful for their experience and care during this difficult time for my family. read more

There is no communication happening in this practice! Doctors are okay, as far as I know, but the staff is horrible! I've worked in medical offices and this place is abominable. They don't call you back and don't communicate with the patient sitting in the waiting room for an hour, wondering what is going on, why is it taking so long when other patients who arrived later, are called. My husband was there for an injection and his radiation doctor communicated with Dr. Nuss, but SOMEWHERE the wires got crossed. The original testosterone-blocker is once again available, made in the U.S.A., and they gave him the other one made in Europe for his first shot which has not been as effective as the radiation doctor would like to see. Dr. Barker is absolutely wonderful in explaining things. The nurse at this place said, "this is what we use now" without explanation why back in April when he had his first injection. DO NOT LIE OR WITHHOLD INFORMATION FROM THE PATIENTS WHEN THEY ARE FIGHTING CANCER! We are totally done with this office. No more!! read more
