BEWARE: Extremely Unprofessional Agent!!!…read more We are first time home buyers, and literally had this special experience ruined for us. She took away the joy and excitement of buying our first home. We were scheduled to do our final walkthrough the day before our closing. Cathy picked the time and date, which meant that we moved our schedule around and missed my grandmother's birthday dinner to make this appointment, while traveling over an hour from where we lived. Our agent even messaged her hours before the schedule appointment which she couldn't be bothered to respond to. We showed up (on time) and she is no where to be found. We tried calling her multiple times. Our agent also tried calling her and she was unresponsive. Finally after almost 30 minutes, she picks up the call and instead of trying to hear anything I had to say, she abruptly tries to defend why she wasn't there. She was under the impression that we were different people and looking at a different property. Again, not taking any accountability that she in the wrong for missing a scheduled appointment. Instead she was too busy trying to defend why it's okay that she was not there. When she finally arrives to the property, she refused to make eye contact with us and remained extremely unprofessional. She even made it to clear to us that "she was doing us a favor and that she didn't need to let us in." Again, she agreed to letting us in (days in advance) and decided on the date and time. We honored her schedule and yet she made us feel extremely small, insignificant and not worth her time. I literally cried on our hour long drive home because I was so upset that a "professional" who claims her motto is "treat others the way you want to be treated," treated us like complete and worthless shit. She spoke down to us as if we were children and her husband just stood there and watched as she carried herself in an unethical and unprofessional manner. I will never ever forget how she ruined this special moment for us. We couldn't even celebrate closing on our home because her negativity, lack of organization and cruelty had me distraught. She made us feel like a pure transaction and thinks that she is some big fish in such a tiny pond. I would never recommend this agent to anyone. Stay away, she is aggressive and unkind.

She's aggressive and the pictures of the house were professional. A little too filtered in retrospect. There were 20+ viewings during the time she had the listing. That was the good. The issues we had were numerous however. There was poor communication throughout. We found out important factors after the fact, there were discrepancies in what she originally said and then it was changed to be more beneficial to whatever point she wanted to make. After 15 days she said on a joint call with us that we should reduce the price by $10K and from there it deteriorated quickly. Later she said she didn't say that. My honest opinion is she relies on the fact that she's done it for x amount of years and her way. She didn't use a system to alert for showings such as the app showing time which would have been very helpful. She tried to strong arm her thoughts and beliefs onto the client and the most difficult thing was to constantly hear that we were very important but we were asked to have this or that piece of info, paperwork etc done by this specific time because she had a client or showing or some other thing going on. Bottom line; we felt we weren't important, we were misled or pressured and her personality didn't work for us. Upon the termination of the listing, we found a different realtor who had the house under contract and within $2K of ask price in the same time frame.
