I have just spent the last 3 days in Miami at the US Citizenship & Immigration Services office, and I could not be more impressed. The reason for my issue lasting 3 days had nothing to do with the US Passport Services office. It had to do with a separate office in Tallahassee and West Palm Beach unrelated to citizenship. I have only ever written 1 review in my life and now this is the 2nd, bc of how great everyone in that office is. The security guards are kind, understanding, and firm. The staff working on Passport fulfillment are compassionate, patient, and efficient. Everyone involved went above & beyond. It's a tough job bc every person in need of an expedited Passport has a unique situation, and Passport security is national security. The entire Miami office handled the last 3 days of almost a thousand people with class, dignity, and composure. out of gratitude, I offered to cater food for the office but they declined for legal reasons. I don't need a renewal for 10yrs, but if I did it would be a pleasure to visit them again. With all the complainers in this world I hope they get a chance to read this. read more

I was there for both my naturalization interview and for my oath ceremony. Both occasions were smooth and punctual. Very professional and serious. I have no complaints. There was parking. Take your water to drink as I did not see a place inside where it could be purchased. read more

Amazing staff and workers on the admin side. 5 stars to them. Unfortunately, i had such a bad experience with the security out front that i'm giving them 1 star. I dont mind him being rude to me, but the way he was talking to the other people in line is UNACCEPTABLE! He was being rude to old women! Then when i said something about it, he barred me from coming in. I had a marriage interview, at that. The only way i got in bc he went on break. Luckily, i didnt miss my interview. NO NEED TO BE A DICK, its not part of your job...and dont forget whos paying for your services. Dont ever be rude to your elders, im sure u had a mom at one point jn your life. read more

This place is awful, I created an info pass appointment to receive the proper information to immigrate here as an Indian American Born in Canada. They gave me the wrong document, and when I returned to tell them i got the wrong documents, they proceeded to tell me if I got the wrong document then I should should do get them myself on the internet. I explained to them that I dont need this document and legally do not need to apply for this for me to live and work in the United States. They told me to figure it out myself and quick me out. read more

I head a great experience at USCIS! The staff is great and everything worked really good

I came here to accompany a friend for her Citizenship ceremony/oath. Her appointment said 10:15am so we arrived at 10am and found a very long line to get in. Upon arrival, finding parking in the garage wasn't a problem. We were in by 11am after standing in the sun for an hour mainly because there were only two security checkpoints and they were slow. One of them was asking people to remove their shoes while the other didn't so there were several people complaining about that. The ceremony started at 11:20pm, it was very touching. There is a point where they mentioned all the countries and a count of people that are becoming citizens. It seemed as if some countries weren't mentioned because some people never stood up. So I bet that was a bit disappointing for them. The ceremony was over at 11:40 and the distribution of certificates took 20 mins. Getting out of the garage was a pain and took about 15-20 mins. read more

This place is horrible the security in the front desk is nasty they treat people like dirt. Not only did they treat me like crappie when I brought my mother in law but they put me at risk telling everyone in the line what I had in my bag. I quietly told them what my job was he still made sure that everyone also. Then he has the bright idea to tell me go leave the items in your car smart it's like telling people go rob my car. I can't believe the attitude they had its a shame that people like this work with the public. I am an American born in this country and very proud but can't believe that an office like this has such people working in this place. I am upset and very frustrated with this behavior. I will make sure I get his information and file a complaint and hope to God that he has not put me at risk today in my job because if that is the case I will take even further action. All I can say people do a job sometime and put on a uniform and think that they can treat people like crap. read more
