Bad experience and waste of $40. My clothes smelled horrible...like cigarettes and other gross smells....do not recommend coming here

DO NOT COME HERE! Avoid this place! This place is horrible! My husband used to come here for all his clothes. I made the wrong decision in trusting them with my little white wedding dress for our courthouse elopement. He picked it up on 4/25 after work. When i saw it, i immediately knew they f***ed up. It was crooked on the hanger. You can visibly see the back was much shorter than the front. The inside slip was also 4 inches shorter than the outer layer. The lady assured me it would be 1-1.5 inch shorter. It was all wrong!! They not only made the back of the dress shorter, but one side was 1 1/8 inches different than the opposite! I went back the very next day, the lady first says its even. Then after i took her measuring tape, and i showed her the sides are not equal, she then tells me in tailoring there is room for grace. Excuse me??? No apology. No resolution. No attempt to somehow fix it (even though the only way to fix it would be making it even shorter!). I explain to her my wedding is in less than a week and she ruined my dress. She had nothing to say besides "we've been in business for a long time". I could not believe she did not even have the human decency to even apologize. Horrible business. Horrible woman. Horrible human being!! I come here to get my work pants dry cleaned and sometimes a few dresses. I find that their basic dry cleaning services are quite reasonable and they have a very fast turnaround rate. I had my clothes altered here once and I felt like they took a really long time getting the article of clothing back to me however the quality was still really good. I suggest this place would be a good option for getting your basic dry cleaning done if you live around the area. read more

AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS! Lost my clothes and I had to stop in every few days for a month until they finally found them. Each time I stopped in they told me they would call me and never did. When they finally found them after I already replaced the items they refused to even give me a discount and the owner lied to me about the clothes and yelled at me. I would not recommend this dry cleaners especially alterations, they charge you full price to replace a zipper and instead they try to fix it which costs half that and it is still broken. Then they give back to you still broken not refunding the difference. So I took it back and told them that I paid for a new zipper and I got the old one back, they apologized and said they would take care of it. I picked it up again and still got the old zipper back, then they told me they thought the issue they could fix, which twice they did not, however they still were never going to refund the difference of fixing it vs. a new zipper. I told them to refund all of it I was going elsewhere and they did. Imagine if you trusted them with a big job? read more

I recently attended a formal function and in doing so I needed to purchase a dress. Unfortunately it appeared that the dress had been worn and returned to the store so I took it to the dry cleaners that was overwhelmingly referred to me when I first moved to Houston over 10 years ago on Westheimer near Club No Minor. The cost for a rush cleaning was $7. I wore it to the function and then dropped it off at US Cleaners as they are much closer to my home. I picked up my dress this morning and was floored when I was informed that the cost was $19...WOW! The dress was cleaned and looks fabulous, but I can't justify an additional $12 for just one item. I can't imagine my tab if I had dropped off a number of items. read more

Dry cleaners have a tough time with reviews... Most seem to end badly because it only takes one bad experience before you want to "one star review" a cleaners. This location had three fails before this review was written. I so badly wanted to like this place because it is extremely convenient, but apparently directions are hard to follow at this place. We are not talking about off the wall directions like only stroke the iron left to right on blue shirts. We are talking about "dry clean these three items" and then two items come back washed and one is dry cleaned! How does that happen? And how does it happen when the tag says dry clean!?! After the first time it happened we had a come to Jesus meeting about how everything I bring to the dry cleaners is to be dry cleaned. Every time I drop something off the directions are "dry clean everything". Well it happened again... Two items dry cleaned and two laundered.... 2nd shirt ruined. I can't believe it happened a third time... What's the point of reliving it in detail here? Just avoid the place... I'm going back to Smart Cleaners. (Bonus: If you feel overcharged, then ask them for a receipt and see what they give you... That will guarantee you don't return.) read more

I so wanted to like this place because it is very convenient. Also, men shirt at 1.85/piece?! Sweet! Well too bad that they add 50% to that because of the "size" of my shirt. ???? I am almost 6 feet tall and weight 175lbs... If I am fat then what do they usuallybdealbwith? The smurfs?! When asked to explain why they started to charge me more in the past month, the Asian lady kept on saying "it's the size" like a broken record. I brought in a couple week old Pottery Barn duvet insert along with a duvet cover and quilt. When I picked up my cleaning I was given a different duvet insert. After bringing this to the cleaners attention, the lady tried to convince me that the older different brand that I had was mine (mine was a recent wedding gift and had different places to tie). After about 3 weeks of back and forth and me stopping by they still do not have my duvet insert and say they did not. I have been told that the owner will call me multiple times to not receive a call and for me to have to stop by again or call again. If you cherish your belongings do not use this cleaner. read more

I'm very disappointed in this establishment.. I went to go pick up my clothes today including a skirt that has a wrap around belt.. I noticed that the belt was missing and no where to be found.. I then politely told the two ladies working at the front and asked if they could please go look for it.. I absolutely understand that these things happen but the way they acted in response is why I'm writing this post. First off, no sorry. Then they preceded to act like I must of been lying about dropping it off in the first place.. By the way, I already paid so I had absolutely no gain from lying to them. Then I just politely asked if they could please go look around a little bit before I leave. She literally went in the back for 30 seconds and grabbed the hanger with the other belts and said, "these are all the belts we have. I'll tell the owner when he gets there." I then asked again if she could just spare a few minutes to look around because it probably just fell on the ground. She denied my request.. I honestly do not understand why looking around for three minutes is such a difficult thing to ask for. I really hope the owner actually looks for it and calls me because I will be sure to tell everyone I know NOT to go here. Sadly, this was also my very first time using this dry cleaners..Obviously, things will get lost..that's not really the issue. It's how they treated me afterwards. read more

This dry cleaner puts barcodes in your clothes. I asked them for no barcodes in mine because It creates a permanent mark in your clothes, so instead they decided to STAPLE the marker to my clothes. Which ultimately puts holes in your your clothes tag and devalues your clothes if you ever want to re-sell them or just like them to look nice and pretty. All they said was "sorry". This is the last straw with them. A few times before this, I needed clothes ready by a certain day and they said yes, but only half of my clothes were ready - not what I needed for my business trip. Ultimately leaving me unprepared. Very unprofessional and not willing to provide monetary reconciliation when they make mistakes. Do not go here. read more

I have been going to US cleaners since first day of operation. They clean my clothes weekly and have done an exceptional job! Veronica is the best, she knows our names, always has a smile on her face, and is an all-around wonderful woman. I highly recommend US Cleaners as I've never to today had a problem. This is legitimately the worst dry cleaners in Houston. I have had one bad experience after another with this group. I tried to give them the opportunity to make it right because they are incredibly inconvenient for me to get to, but I will be going out of my way to find another dry cleaners. This last experience left me with a shirt (one of my favorites) with two tears in it and the advice that I should "probably throw this shirt away". I also took them my comforter and was told it would be ready in 4-5 days, which was already too long, but when I showed up on the 5th day it still wasn't ready. read more

But the worst was that the shirt I had dry cleaned was ripped when it was returned to us. Never going back, need a refund for that shirt but I threw away my receipt. read more

They charge .50 cents for not unbuttoning your shirts but do not inform their customers about it. Be CAREFUL with this place and always double check your receipt before you leave. They have a tendency of charging extra for unusual things. The last time they charged me extra per shirt because of the size of my shirt???? I did not understand the logic and when I refused to pay extra because for some of my slim fit shirts, they started charging for unbuttoned shirts. They come up with new ways to charge more per shirt every time. Terrible customer service as well. read more

I live in cottage grove for 5 years now. I used to go to this dry cleaners due to close proximity for a year and half. After paying a full year for an extra charge to unbutton my shirts (didn't know this charge existed), I was told they would not charge this anymore - it is nice to take the charge off but it would of been nicer to of been aware this charge existed a year ago. The Asian lady that works the front is beyond super rude (her husband and daughter that work there are not)- I have had my clothes disappear, be late, and the always grumpy Asian lady at front even gave me attitude more than once when they could not find one of my shirts multiples times. I have switched to Clean Smart dry cleaners and even though it's a couple minutes more of drive, it it is worth knowing you will get proper customer service and do not have to worry about your clothes being late/disappearing or dealing with unhappy/ rude customer service. Stay away from these dry cleaners; it's even more worthwhile to iron your own clothes then coming to this place. Would rate it zero starts if the option existed. read more

Don't go there. Resist the convenience of their location. First, they stole my husband's $200 Versace shirt. The owner lady (her father-in-law owns the place) promised to look at the cameras right away. She never did. And because her cameras have only a week memory span, shirt is being worn by somebody other than my husband. No compensation was offered. Then, they continued to launder vs. dry clean my husband's expensive shirts after I gave them another chance. This week they put some weird wax spot on my silk designer blouse. The same lady claimed that a spot was there before (epic!) and it turned yellow after dry cleaning. Note, if you have spots on your clothing, they turn yellow instead of coming off. She also hung up angrily telling me that I can pick up my upgraded wax spot blouse, if I want. Total damage from them is about $300 in lost/ruined items, laundered $450 shirts, rudeness is free! No wonder her husband drives a brand new Range Rover. They sacrifice quality to make money. Wonder, who in her family is wearing that Versace shirt? read more

I bring my clothes here quite often. First, it started with everytime I brought shirts, they would come back with missing/cracked buttons so I would then have to bring it to an alteration place to add / fix the buttons. Extra money on my end on top of paying for the laundry/dry cleaning. Then I bring a pair of white pants, pick them up, and they have water spots on both thigh areas. I bring them back and go back THREE times to pick them up for them to tell me they lost the pants...Do not go to this place. They do not keep you in the loop and give you updates. They just give you the run around. I know mistakes happen, but this is becoming a habit there. My husband and I will not be using this cleaners anymore. read more

I've been going to this location since they opened several years ago. I have always received great service and quality care for my clothes. They have accommodated me on several occasions when I needed something rushed due to unexpected travel. The owner even waited for me once after hours because I needed to pick up some dry cleaning before heading out of town the next day. You don't find service like that anymore. Great place!! read more

Amazing service! Veronica is the front desk person who always is extremely sweet and courteous and you can tell that she really likes her job and goes an extra mile to take care of my clothes. I feel safe leaving my clothes there because I have never had an issue with them since they have opened for couple of years now.
