I located the rod/reel I was looking for rather easily. I asked a couple of questions before finalizing the purchase since it was a gift. They asked if I needed line, they strung the reel. line prices are fair 5 cents per yard for mono, 16 cents per yard for braided. Everyone I dealt with was very friendly & knowledgeable.

They have a plethora of jerseys, shorts, socks and the list goes on. They also do engraving and printing on site and therefore many club teams partner with them to produce their logos and numbers for the team gear.

Unfortunately, the store was already closed, and my son had to leave for a tournament at 8:15 a.m. the next morning. To make matters worse, the bat had already been wrapped with Lizard Skins. I spent all night worrying about whether I'd be able to get it exchanged in time. Not only did they let me into the store before they officially opened, but they had the correct bat ready for me in about 30 seconds and even regripped it at no charge. There aren't any dedicated dart shops in NYC, anymore, so I searched and found Touch of England, here on Yelp. Hopped in my car and drove to New Jersey. Tom was there. He knows his stuff. I'd brought my Bombers and explained that they're a bit heavy and smooth, to my taste. He weighed them and then pulled out a lighter, more streamlined set with more grip and a longer shaft...but with the rounded barrel, somewhat like the Bombers, for my go to front grip. Really nice set. After a few well landed throws, I was ready to say, "yes". Then he pulled out the same brand, weight, and length/grip but with a tapered barrel. More of a middle to rear grip...which I'm not used to. I liked that one, a LOT. Both were excellent, but the tapered head won the day. A bonus is that Tom was watching my throws and how the darts landed. He could see how well I was taking to the middle grip, and said so. Also made suggestions for keeping the shaft size as it is and which flights would serve well. Very happy I made the trip. Excellent selection of darts and everything related.
