Great location to purchase items that typically aren't easy to find, especially in bulk. Super easy to find, directly off north Meeting St toward the north side of the peninsula. Large, accommodating parking lot with lots of room to load up big orders. I specifically came for the 12 inch tortillas today to make special large wraps/burritos for an upcoming road trip. Love that they have a selection of flavors in this size. I also ended up buying kiwis, blueberries, raspberries and 10 lbs of cheese! That is the thing to remember when shopping here...bulk is the word but that also helps offset the current insane rise on grocery prices. Bring a friend (or two) and share! Huge coffee syrup selection here also, for those of us who like to brew at home. Best prices I have found locally. read more

Then aisles of dry groceries, cleaning supplies, and cooking equipment. I had to shop here a specific vegetable, but first I looked online to see if it was in stock. Then I went there and found it just as listed. The cashier was friendly and I left with exactly what I needed. There's plenty of parking too. read more

If you like to cook then this is going to be your favorite place to find unique and fun ingredients. Unlike Restaurant Depot you don't have to have a business license to shop here. As I have been to Restaurant Depot a few years ago I can say that US Foods is very similar to RD but also is more user friendly for the non business shopper. What I mean is there is several items you can buy a single item and not the whole case. That is awesome and makes for a fund trip to be able to grab some Restaurant quality items to enhance your home cooking. What excited me the most was seeing the quality Sashimi grade Ahi Tuna in not just a loin but also diced in a 5 Lb box. That sounds like allot but if you like to make you own Poke and have space in your freezer it will go quick. Their meat section had some nice uncut NY Strips and Ribeyes which were in the price range of Costco and Sams Club. They didn't have quite the selection of RD but the quality of the meats looked very good. The frozen veggie section and appetizer section had some great deals and fun items. We got a couple of 2 lb bags of breaded Okra and breaded Dill Pickles to try. I am sure they will be delicious. We also got a 2 lb box of Breaded Oysters and breaded Calamari which both looked amazing. They also had 5 lb boxes of Kronos Gyro Meat so you can do your own at home. Their prices are very good overall and you can find some really good deals on some items you can't get at local markets. Another cool thing about US Foods is if you are having a large Party they have amazing serving items to make you event really nice. I am looking forward to my next visit to try even more cool things. read more

I don't really have anything to compare this to as I'm not normally in restaurant supply stores. We went in looking for a specific tool (French fry cutter) and to just check everything out. We didn't end up getting the French fry thing (more than we wanted to pay... which we knew was likely because it was a true restaurant version one but wanted to look). We did end up getting a set of biscuit cutters and a long spatula like tool. This place would be a good resource if you were having a giant party or actually in the restaurant business lol! read more
