We went back and forth discussing different paver options, styles, layout ideas, and pricing. After several site visits, we agreed on a final scope and signed agreement. Once the work finally began and the trees/shrubs were already removed, Francisco stopped the project and told me I would now need to pay an additional $1,000 because the patio would require a step. He claimed this made it a "different project." As a homeowner, I relied on the contractor's expertise. I clearly explained what I wanted from the beginning, and Francisco had visited the site multiple times before agreeing to the price. If a step was required, that should have been identified during the estimating and planning process -- not after demolition had already started. When I pushed back, I was told he could simply "put the trees back and refund the money." While I did receive a refund, I was ultimately left with removed landscaping, dead trees sitting in my garden bed, and no patio project completed. The most frustrating part was that everything had already been discussed, measured, signed, and agreed upon beforehand. Overall, the experience felt very unprofessional and poorly planned.

Few days prior to the big storm, I asked around for quotes from different vendors requesting for a snow removal the day after the storm and to my surprise, most of the business only handle commercial jobs and/or residential contracted yearly with their landscaping program. We're new resident and recently closed on a new home in the middle of winter. There's absolutely no way I'll be able to contract a landscaping deal when there's not much to see other than brush/shrubs and tree limbs around to dictate what needs done come spring. However, Tree Trimming Solution came to our rescue and instantly accepted the work to be done the day after the storm. Scheduled at 930AM but the guys came in at 8AM ready to tackle the day and sure enough, everything was shoveled, plowed and salt was spread within an hour. I'm on 2 acres property lot. My driveway can fit about 8-10 cars. Can you imagine how much snow that is for a driveway alone! My sidewalk reaches around the detention basin of the development which can be difficult to reach. By 5:37 PM the same day, they had responded to the online request -- during what was clearly a very, very busy pre-storm window. They confirmed they would have made every effort to fit both properties into their schedule. I ended up securing another company slightly earlier due to the urgency of the situation, but I genuinely appreciated MTM's responsiveness, professionalism, and straightforward communication. Coordinating snow removal from afar for family during a severe, dangerous storm is stressful, and their willingness to help mattered.
