Pricing is good but the women who work there (I have only seen female workers) are terrible people. Rude, not helpful, very condescending. From the gate keeper on the ride in to the shuttle drivers to and from but the biggest example of typical behavior was the women at the gate on the way out. There was a trainee and she was so nice (obviously hasn't been brainwashed by her co workers) but the lady who was with her, she was so rude and you can tell she didn't like us just for being us. read more

Decent offsite airport parking. I think the normal cost went up some from previous years. AAA discount only takes off a $1. I was "advised" by a US Park rep to remove my prior comments about other discounts on here, so do talk to the cashier about potential discounts if interested. Unfortunately as a long term customer I won't be back. Getting to the airport is so easy with this service but getting back to your car is a nightmare. All the other services seem to have twice the staff and shuttles and you stand there waiting to be picked up for 30 minutes while every other shuttle service has cycled around 5 times. The employees (particularly the cashiers) are incredibly rude and sarcastic and the drivers while usually kind are clearly at their whits end with staffing issues. I'll be using literally anywhere else from now on, it's not worth the saved money to end your trip with people with a horrible attitude and terrible punctuality. read more

So, what are airport parking lots anyway: just big parking lots with shuttles, right? So, why do I keep coming back? Well, US Park has a lot of spaces: there's only been one time when their lot was full, and that was for travel on a holiday. Also, (significantly) the aisles are fairly wide. I've been in lots where you really have to be careful to navigate past the occasional long bed pickup truck while you look for a spot. It seems as if they have fewer shuttles than they used to have. Getting picked up from my car used to take about 5 minutes. Now it's closer to 10. Likewise, I listened to 2-1/2 songs on my iPod as I waited at the airport for a shuttle. That's about 10 minutes there, too. And, 10 is also the magic number for the price per day, if you look up the on-line coupon. This doesn't feel like a bargain or a ripoff, either. So, I have to give a score of this right in the middle. If the other park and ride lots had better prices, I would go to them. But, all things considered, US Park is it worth coming back to again. read more

My go to for parking when flying out of DTW. Sometimes it can take a little a while to get a shuttle but never long enough to be upset or late. It's affordable and the staff is friendly. They also have a reward program that you can earn a free day and also discounts for teachers if you can show your badge. read more

I have always liked the service at US Park and have used them almost exclusively whenever I needed to park at the airport. Lately I have been using a walker due to a pinched nerve that may require surgery at some point. I called to see about being dropped off at the hotel and was told by their supervisor, Kelly, that their vans were not allowed on the hotel level. But she said they could have one of their drivers drop me off and pick me up using my vehicle, sort of like a valet service , for no additional charge over and above that for parking. I had been unaware of this level of service until today. In my previous experience with US Park all of the drivers and employees have always been friendly but professional. They had a ton of available spaces and the shuttle was right there to take us to DTW. Coming back, we only had to wait a few minutes for the shuttle to bring us back. The prices are only slightly cheaper than the long-term parking offered by DTW, but -- unlike other private lots -- their service fee is a reasonable, one-time charge. The good -- Reservation process was easy. The shuttle drivers are super people and a lot of fun. The bad -- The lady at the entrance to the lot is rough and grumpy - and doesn't speak clearly. As a manner of fact,I'd call her a bit of a dog (the female kind). I think she doesn't care if you use their business or not. Kind of a big FU attitude. I don't take kindly to that. I'm a nice person and have worked in many public facing jobs so I know the public can be jerky. Still, staff should not respond in kind especially when someone is polite. When leaving a different lady is also rough and grumpy. Not quite as bad though. Take a paper copy of any reservation where you've paid ahead. DO NOT LOSE IT. I will repeat, DO NOT LOSE IT. I had to take time to search for it, but found it, THANK GOD. This place is far, far behind in modern reservation systems. No one should ever need to carry paper with them. The reservation should be acknowledged somehow when they give you the entrance ticket. I suspect it's a clever way to con people out of a double parking fee, because if you can't prove you already paid, too bad, you're getting charged again. I also think the lot area is kind of shady looking in a crime way. Next time, I'm parking at the airport. It's not THAT much more and is a far better experience customer service-wise. read more

Find a better option!! We waited a long time for a ride. A line built up due to a few 7pm arrivals. I counted 1 US Park bus for every 6 Quik Park buses. US Park line was very long... Quik Park busses sat waiting to pick up more people. apApparently MGT does not know the concept of surge volume from common arrival times. When I walked out to the pickup area, a shuttle was leaving. I waited 7 minutes (after watching multiple other shuttles send 2-5 shuttles in that time). I called to inform then there were a large amount of people waiting for a shuttle. I was told one was on the way, but she would let dispatch know. When one shuttle arrived 5 minutes later, there were at least another 30 people waiting for a shuttle. I asked the shuttle driver to let them know they needed to send more, and she said it wasn't her responsibility. It is December, and people are standing in sub- freezing temperatures for upwards of 10-15 minutes while other shuttles are coming every 3-4 minutes, but it isn't her job to help them. This is not the first time I've had this issue with US Park. I stopped using them for about 3 years because of this, but my company now requires me to use them. After being a customer for about a decade, never using them again! My last two trips I had to wait 15+ min at the terminal and also waited in the lot this last time to get picked up. They also double parked aisles and aisles of cars! all of those cars were unlocked with keys sitting on the seat. We were blocked in and got yelled at by a lot attendant and were told to just "not park there anymore then." Happy to take my money and business elsewhere! read more

US park is who my company recommends for our business travel and I also used them for vacation travel. My last 3 times using them went identically bad. While other parking places made 2 and 3 passes with shuttles, there was nobody from US Park coming by the terminal. After a 40-minute wait, there were now 30 people waiting for US Park. This was now going to take 3 full shuttles to get caught back up. Called the office via the cell and they promised people were dispatched but took forever. Of course, because of the backup there was now a line of 30 cars waiting to pay to get out and only one booth running. After almost 15 minutes with no movement someone finally emerged from the office to open another pay booth. 1 hour 25 minutes to pick you up and leave is unacceptable. Don't bother using their discount coupons because they do not honor them. 2 separate times they claimed their prices changed after issuing the coupons so they have to charge more. Don't issue them if you will not honor them "deceptive place". Must be new owners because this used to be a great place and now they don't care. read more

No buses arrived for 20 mins, other competitor buses kept coming every couple mins but no US Park, finally had to call and the operator just made a bunch of excuses and bus finally arrived causing a mad rush for all the people who had been waiting. We waited over an hour for a van and when I called to ask about when one was coming the lady on the phone was very rude. US Park is a convenient and cost effective option if you're looking for places to park at DTW. There's always plenty of parking, and they make the experience super easy as they'll direct you to an area to park in and the shuttle to the airport will pick you up right at your car. On your way back, they'll drop you back off at your car, so it's no hassle round trip. Because of the fact that it's so cost effective (especially if you've got a coupon), it can often be super busy and crowded. I've found this to be a problem more on the way back from the airport on busy travel weekends, you may have to wait for one or two shuttles to go by (packed) before you can get on one. You may also get stuck in line on the way out as there can be a bit of lag as people are cashing out. read more

I park at US Park on Middlebelt every week. The shuttles are timely and the drivers and cashiers are so friendly. It is a bit more expensive than other off site parking services, but it is worth it. I have had great experiences 90% of the time, but I had the rudest driver last night. Her name was Patricia H. She was extremely upset that I had forgotten my ticket, even though I knew the row that I was in. She wouldn't even look at me. The individual next to me even asked, "what did you do to her?" She must have been having an extremely bad day. Overall, I will be back and will just cross my fingers that I don't have to ride with Patricia H. again. read more

Very reliable, love the system! We'll organized, the lady drivers that I've experienced has always been nice! There is a tip spot so bring cash and tip them :)always feel safe parking here! When they dropped us off to pick up our car they make sure our car starts up as well which is so comforting. I highly recommend this place because it's gated as well! This place is ridiculous. The parking lot has more potholes than smooth pavement. I've waited forever for shuttles both at the lot and at the airport. Today i was thrilled to actually catch one at pickup. Then, the driver literally said that she was waiting for her friend. She made multiple comments about how many other us park buses were waiting and she still held an entire group of people up so that she could wait for her friend. After stalling for a while, she picked her friend up in an illegal zone while telling other us park customers that she couldn't take them. First time trying them and very pleased. They have a veterans discount, the shuttle service was organized and very fast. The lot was pretty crowded but I liked that they didn't over crowd the buses.
