I came here to get a new passport and I was expecting the worst but was pleasantly surprised with how great the service was. They took me a little before my actual appointment time which helped me get out on time. Lloyd was the exceptional employee that helped me through the process. I had no idea what I was doing and he was so patient and kind. He let me retake my picture so I wasn't stuck with a horrible passport photo. He made sure everything was correct and walked me through the expedited process. His other colleagues were also very kind and helpful. The worst thing that has happened to shipping service in the whole world. Fist off I sent a package worth thousands of dollars through them and they stole it and refused to my money or give me my package. The tracking showed that the package never left their location. The manager knew who took it but refused to act on it. Like I offended them they still put my mail in the wrong mailbox. Even after complaining severally. I almost missed an important interview because of them. They mail came several days before, I only discovered it a day before my interview. They should close down this location or change management. read more

Do not go here if you need a passport. My husband and I made appointments for 9a, were on time they made us sit for 20 minutes, with no communication. Until we went up to them TWICE. Guy kept saying he was going to "ask the manger" but no manager ever helped us. My friend and I both had a PO box at this location that overlapped for a year. We tried to save money, close his box & add him to mine. We filled out all the correct documents, but all his mail was being returned to sender. We've verified our information at least three different times, and his mail is still being returned. Its a joke because we're talking major government documents not reaching him: property tax bills, dmv renewal papers, voter information, etc. Every time someone new contacts him regarding "we have some returned mail", he verifies the address. They do put the box number that was originally mine (but now has his name as well), but the Bellflower post office keeps trying to forward it to his old PO box that belongs to someone else and he no longer has access to. This is ridiculous. We've never submitted any "please forward my mail" documents. He called updated all his credit cards, bank records, dmv address himself. Bellflower PO takes it upon themselves to internally forward the mail, then return it to sender. Such a hassle. read more

Great customer service and help with resolving issues. Fast service! The clerks are friendly and professional. It's a big post office and has all the items and services you need in one place. There are also two self-service kiosks if you need a basic service and have a credit or debit card. Free public parking lot on the side and also limited free street parking! I think this is a really good Post Office. I have a P.O. Box here and stop in at least once a month. They keep the place up pretty well considering the volume of business they do. Every once in a while I have to wait in the line for some type of service. Today 6/25 is one of those days. The letter had to go out today and needed to go USPS as opposed to FedEx. I held my breath and hoped that the line would not be like it normally is when I come in on a Saturday. One of them worked. The three open windows were helping a customer but I was the only person in line! The lady helping me (Tina?) was friendly and efficient. She told me my options and explained all the details. I paid up, she mailed my letter and I was on my way! By now the lobby had filled up and there was a double aisle line waiting to take my place at the counter! I have to say the all the service personnel here have always been very friendly and helpful. When the line gets long there is always someone coming out of the back to help expedite things. I had to come to get my son's passport since both parents have to be present. I took a day off ( which is extremely difficult for me to do) and was asked to bring all these legal documents.....and was requested to be here at 9:05 for a 9:15 passport appointment....its now 9:40.....and the lady that does the passport went to the back and said it's not my priority according to my manager. Is there a better way to do this post offices are the worst. To be fair the lady at the window said they were short staffed....cause some people didn't come in......at my job you would have been fired. I keep a P.O. Box here. I mailed an envelope recently with certified mail. It was overkill in combination with return receipt but I have peace of mind for a little over $2 each service. There are usually lines in December and early January because of the holidays. This location also has automated center and passport services. read more

Carriers are lazy and don't bring packages to my door. I'm in a large complex that don't have parcel boxes, so why leave packages in an unsecured location? Wait time was long but the thing that I think think they deserved the one star is that it was my turn to pay for my stuff and I was put aside... I saw the lady trying to give the guy the photos to get paid for and he put me aside to attend to another lady.. worst experience. Very nice location. Employees were very friendly. I didn't feel rushed at all. It was around 4pm when I arrived. There wasn't a lot of people there so that might skew it a bit. The facility was pretty clean. No problems in parking. When you get towards the rear, it becomes a one. You will have to exit from the other side of the street. I need to mail my bill and. I didn't want to wait in line inside the post office. So I drove to the drive through drop in mailbox was accessible. The only downside to this drop off is the limited one time pick up of 5 pm. So if you need to mail something to be sent out the day you mail it, drive through drop in mailbox isn't the way. She was very friendly, patient, and kind... i have been to lots of us post office like 103 and compton ave. And the service super ridiculous there. Or 120 and Avalon.... I suppose part of me believes someone in a position of authority could possibly see my complaint and make integral changes at this particular post office, but I doubt it. It's as if they're playing post office and making it up as they go along. Based on my experience they are not trained to serve customers or abide by any policies. Worst post office I've ever had encountered. Unfortunately, it's my local post office. My packages have been either lost or stolen, I don't know how many times now. I'm getting the run around. I always would have to contact the company I ordered from to either have it reshipped or dispute my bank to get a refund. One positive is that my regular mailman is really kind and seems efficient. But, recently they said the covering mailman delivered it to the wrong address?! It's so frustrating. When I call, sometimes I'm placed on hold for at least 20 mins before I could even get any help. How is it possible that you can't access my front porch that anyone can walk up to? My tracking number shows failure to deliver with no access but that is a complete lie. The service has always been friendly. I like that it's small gives it that small town feel to it. I have a PO box here and from time to time had problems with it but the manager is nice and takes care of their boo-boo. I also like that they have lockers, so if I get a parcel they will leave a key to the locker. So therefore, I don't have to wait in line to pick up my parcel. Closes early and a lot of the times parcels dropped of here get sent to lakewood post office. Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:30pm Sat 9:00am-2:00pm Sun closed Holiday hours usually get extended. This review is long overdue. I was hoping to see them do better, but it is only getting worse. I have had so many issues with packages being delivered. They lie all the time. My tracking number/app states they "attempted delivery" but they never showed up! It also states there was "no access". I live in a house with no dog, no gate or anything blocking you from placing a package on my front porch! I understand covid is affecting things but don't lie about it!!!!!!!! Be honest!!!! You didn't have time to drop my package off! This has happened 3 times now!
