I have several complaints for the Plymouth post office…read more The service is intermittent at best. I frequently order online and since I've moved here I will have no mail for 2-5 days then get so much it won't all fit in the box and I have to go pick it up during business hours. Business hours are 8:00am to noon! Not every Plymouth resident is retired or on welfare. Even one day a week with some extended hours or a noon to 4:00pm day would allow a wider range of customers to access their mail. My wife or myself burn a vacation hour every week or two so that we can pickup our packages. Half the time it is just mail that was saved and once delivered would overfill the box. On several occasions over the last 2 years I have noticed the clerk will prop open the back door and smoke within a few feet of the building. I quite often smell strong cigarette smoke in the PO Box area.

I returned the packages ask where my package was and that I had another person's package in my box. The person working checked and stated they must have switched the keys and a man received my shoes and apparently took them. I wanted to know what and when they would fix this situation because I am being billed for the shoes. I was surprised the worker got upset with me I guess because I questioned him and he made a mistake and gave my shoes to a man . I just wanted to know what would be done, no apology just raised his voice got upset with me. Later my friend called to ask and the female worker was agitated and said they would have to get the shoes from the man who took them and said if you have a problem with that call someone and hung up. COME ON!!! not enough lockers for packages to be put in, so then you have to go back in line to pick up your packages. takes an extra day to get packages off the dock in a shrink wrapped bulk to your PO box, so you can rarely count on the online delivery confirmation to be accurate.... that is pick up your pkg the day it gets to the PO.

We are the post office" when I informed her that the Hermiston post office said that it was too many and they couldn't help me.) wth lol what pisses me off the most is that they never the phone... I mean like I have had them answer the phone one time when I have called and it must've been luck because they never answered it ever again after that any of the days that I have ever called them with a question about a package or with a help request for a missing package, etc. actually multiple times when I have had a package that was missing from my mailbox that said it was delivered, the only time someone answered they told me they would call me back with information. They never did. I called back multiple times over the course of two weeks and no one was ever able to answer the phone. :) today, which is probably five months after that I called again with another question. No one answered the phone. It's increasingly annoying and I wish they would just disconnect the line if they're not gonna answer. I don't wanna have to drive all the way across town through all the stoplights just to ask a question and then be told "I don't know I can't help you with that" which is also what happened to me the first time my package was missing ! You mean you won't answer the phone and then I go in person and you tell me "yeah I don't know. I can't do that here" super annoying. I don't know why nobody can do their job. Nobody can! like what are you doing here? Why are they paying you?

It doesn't look like much from the outside but these guys have it far more together than other area post offices. The parking situation is pretty dire on busy days - it's a small lot on the side of the building or residential street parking. Don't even bother trying to come on a Proctor Farmer's Market day. Otherwise, it's not too bad. Inside, it's clear that this post office hasn't seen any real work (and maybe cleaning) since the 70s sometime. That's okay, at least it doesn't smell of cigarette smoke like other post offices I can think of. The space is small and a little cramped but flows well for such a small space. There are four windows for retail transactions and they usually have three of them going. The employees have some of the standard surliness of postal employees but a few have a sense of humor - what a nice thing to run into, actual human postal workers! Things I ship from this post office go just as quickly as they do from Pine Street, A Street, or any of the other local post offices. Funny thing, though, they seem to arrive at their destinations in better shape. Don't all flood the post office at once, now, I have all of these packages to mail.

We're not allowed to Unclip it. (Me)-What should I do? (Dawn)-put a rock on the lid. I do. 3- I'm not touching that rock, your dog peed on it. (Box is outside the gate). So I take the rock off and leave the lid to blow open. 4- your box doesn't have your address on it. (It's on the fence 10' away) I move the address next to the box. 5- The road is too rough.
