On the two occasions i've come to this branch, however, i've been happily surprised by their good customer service, tidyness, and vigilance when it comes to enforcing social-distancing and mask-wearing. The clerks here are cordial and pretty efficient. There are usually 3 clerks working the windows (but i tend to go around midday). Of course you always have those nutcases who don't wear their masks properly, slow older folks, or annoying people who interrupt your time @ the window with their "quick" questions - but just make sure YOU take care of you! *Tip 1: Double-mask it (and face-shield if you're immuno-vulnerable); don't engage the crazy people; and don't be in a big hurry cuz all you'll do is stress yourself out. Both times i've had to stand in line, but was out of there within 15-35 minutes. *Tip 2: It's always a good idea to check usps.com BEFORE you go to the post office cuz you'll save yourself a LOT of time and headache if you're armed w/ information. Be smart (like me) and research beforehand so you don't get the dreaded "This is the wrong label - go fill out another one, and come back." Ain't nobody got time for that!!! So to recap: 1. Don't be a nutcase - wear a mask that covers your NOSE and MOUTH. 2. Arrive with a good attitude and INFORMED about what you need. 3. Don't be in a huge hurry - you never know if there will be lots of clerks cuz the way the post office is set up nowadays - you might hafta wait a lil bit. 4. Be kind to elders - they tend to need more time and care.

How a 3-4 person line takes that long is beyond me, but it's confusing because 5-6 people will be walking around the back seemingly doing jack laughing and having a grand old time. The one person who is in the window is usually slower than anything I've ever seen and decides that personal conversations with their coworkers are more important than efficiently getting people out the door. They also have bad attitudes and seem to hate their jobs. It's just obvious no one here cares. I've had better wait times during Covid when we had to line up outside of businesses.

I called back, that was on Friday and was then told they'd send it on Monday. Completely unacceptable. The lack of communication, delays at every stage, and the burden being placed on me to chase down updates have left me thoroughly disgusted.
